Colome 3, Centerville 2

CENTERVILLE -- Colome edged Centerville in a five-set high school volleyball match on Friday. The set scores were 16-25, 25-17, 20-25, 25-17 and 15-13.

Colome’s Katelyn Welker posted nine kills, 15 digs and five aces. Toree Ringing Shield added nine kills, six digs and two aces. Kasie Leighton logged four kills, 15 digs and five aces. Landi Krumpus had 22 digs and three aces. Devan Dougherty finished with 12 assists, 12 digs and two aces. Jordyn Ring had eight assists, even kills and 20 digs. 

Centerville’s Mya Bendt had nine kills and 22 digs. Thea Gust finished with six kills, three blocks, seven digs and three aces. Macey Hostetler added 21 assists, five aces and three digs. Rylie Thieman posted five kills, six digs and five aces. Mackenzie Meyer had 29 digs and three kills. Bailey Hansen recorded three kills and 38 digs. 


Avon 3, Menno 0

MENNO -- Avon swept Menno in straight sets in Friday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-22 and 26-24.

Avon’s Courtney Sees finished with 11 kills, 10 digs and two aces. Tiffany Pelton posted 10 kills, seven digs, three blocks and two aces. Katie Gretschmann had 10 digs, while Sam Brodeen had seven kills, 12 digs, one ace and one assist. Makayla Kopp recorded nine digs. Reece Loewe had five kills, one block and one dig. Mckenna Kocmich had 23 assists, 11 digs, three aces and one block. Reese Powers posted three assists, two digs and one block. 

Menno’s Bridget Vaith finished with eight kills, three digs, two blocks and one ace. Kaelea McCoy had two assists and two digs. Raygen Diede added eight kills and three digs. Josephine Stokes logged two kills, one digs and one block. Julia Buechler had one ace, four kills and five digs. Paityn Huber posted 11 assists and six digs. Grace Nusz logged seven assists and eight digs. Maggie Miller had seven digs. Madelyn Kludt posted four digs.

MILLER -- Miller swept Ethan in Friday high school volleyball action on Friday. The set scores were 25-23, 25-21 and 25-17.

Miller’s Ally Mullaney had 12 kills, while Tricia Lammers and Abigail Blake had seven kills apiece. Tyra Gates posted 29 assists, while Jaden Werdel had 14 digs. Payton Kilker and Cynthia Ford had nine digs apiece. Werdel added four kills. Ruby Carder, Ford, Gates and Blake each had an ace.

Parker 3, Beresford 0

PARKER -- Parker picked up a three-set high school volleyball win over Beresford on Friday. The set scores were 25-18, 25-22 and 25-16.

Parker’s Brooke Berens recorded 12 kills, 23 digs and six aces. Halle Berens finished with nine kills, while Katie Bialas had four kills and one ace. Terryn Fuller posted 28 assists and three aces. Alexis Even recorded 42 digs. 

Beresford’s Kara Niles recorded 11 kills, eight digs and three blocks. Savanna Beeson added six kills and four digs. Sierra Johnson had five kills, five digs and 15 assists. Autumn Namminga had 17 digs and two aces. Addy Wills had eight assists and four digs. Rachel Zanter posted 15 digs. Irelyn Fickbohm had nine digs and four kills. Megan Delay had five kills. 


Hanson 3, Viborg-Hurley 1

ALEXANDRIA -- Hanson topped Viborg-Hurley in a four-set high school volleyball match on Friday. The set scores were 25-14, 16-25, 25-19 and 29-27.

Annalyse Weber finished with six kills and 14 digs. Jalyn Kampshoff added 20 assists, 10 digs and four aces. Erin Dewald had 12 digs and three aces. Skylar Holm had six digs, while Kiana Berg and Kylie Haiar had four kills apiece. Berg added three aces. Taylor Schroeder had 15 digs. Avery Moschell and Paige Endorf had five kills apiece.

For Viborg-Hurley, Coral Mason had 15 kills, 30 digs and four aces. Estelle Lee had eight kills and 28 digs. Mataya Vannorsdel logged 27 assists, five digs, two aces and one kill. Charley Nelson added 45 digs, while Jenna Graves had 22 digs. Addy Huth posted four kills and two digs. 


Waubay-Summit 3, Waverly/South Shore 0

WAVERLY -- Waubay-Summit swept Waverly/South Shore in straight sets in Friday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 27-25, 25-15 and 25-21.

Waverly/South Shore’s Rianne Basye had five kills, while Lily Revalee had three kills and one block assist. Kylie Comes and Bridget Eschen had four and three aces, respectively. Eschen added 12 digs and Emily Heuer had eight digs. Heuer added 10 assists and Sophie Dalton had three solo blocks.

Leola/Frederick Area 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0

LEOLA -- Leola/Frederick Area swept Sunshine Bible Academy in straight sets on Friday. The set scores were 25-18, 25-21 and 25-17.

Alyx Hoffman finished with eight kills, while Jocelynn Ellwein recorded five aces and 18 assists. Lacey Westphal posted 25 digs, while Chloe Arneson had two aces and two solo blocks. 

SBA’s Aja Paul recorded six kills, while Liza Konechne had three kills and Sadie Konechne had two kills. Jakki Burma posted six assists and two aces. Betra Amare had five aces, three assists and four digs.

COLMAN -- Garretson topped Colman-Egan in straight sets in Friday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-8 and 25-17.

Garretson’s Lily Ranschau finished with 11 kills, 11 digs and four block assists. Logan Bly had seven kills, four digs, three block assists and one ace. Anna Jones recorded five kills, four block assists and four digs. Jaelyn Benson had 22 assists, three kills and 16 digs. Kaylin Koch posted nine kills, four digs and two block assists. Lexi Gawarecki had seven digs, while Alli Gawarecki had seven digs, four assists and one kill. Allyn Leedy posted eight digs.

Colman-Egan’s Hailey Larson had seven kills, 10 digs, one solo block and one block assist. Daniela Lee finished with four kills, 11 digs, one block assist and one ace. Ava Mousel recorded nine assists and one ace. Kadance Landis had three kills and Lanie Mousel had two assists. Mackenzie Hemmer added seven kills, four digs, three block assists and one ace. 


Madison 3, Elk Point-Jefferson 1

ELK POINT -- Madison defeated Elk Point-Jefferson in a four-set high school volleyball match on Friday. The set scores were 17-25, 25-22, 25-18 and 26-24.

Audrey Nelson led Madison with 22 kills, five digs and four blocks. Megan Schouwenburg posted seven kills and six digs. Kylie Krusemark had 10 digs, 41 assists, five kills and one block. Raena Rost had 27 digs and one ace. Callie McDermott finished with 12 digs and one ace. 

EPJ’s Ashley Brewer finished with 12 kills, five blocks and two digs. Alyssa Chytka had 26 digs, while Bentlee Kollbaum posted five digs and four kills. Danica Torrez finished with 16 digs, six kills and one ace. Josie Curry logged five kills, two digs and two blocks. Natalie Heuertz had 11 kills, while Sophia Giorgio posted 14 digs and 30 assists. 


Sioux Falls Washington 3, Sioux Falls O’Gorman 2

SIOUX FALLS -- Sioux Falls Washington outlasted Sioux Falls O’Gorman in a five-set high school volleyball match on Friday. The set scores were 25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 18-25 and 15-12.

Ellie Walker and Joslyn Richardson had 12 kills apiece, while Walker had six aces and 19 digs. Richardson added 22 digs. Carlie Beckstrand had nine kills and five digs. Macie Malchow finished with three aces and 12 digs. Shelby Kinzer added nine kills and six digs. Taryn Heibult had 11 digs and two aces. Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda added four kills and four digs. 

No stats were reported for Sioux Falls O’Gorman.

COLTON -- Tea Area swept Tri-Valley in straight sets in Friday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-21 and 25-17.

Lizzy Spah led Tea Area with eight kills, while Mara Grant had six kills and one solo block. Cassidy Gors added 21 digs, while Jillian Huenink had 20 assists. Kalli Boom and Huenink had three aces apiece. 

Tri-Valley’s Megan Wenzel finished with five kills and two block assists, while Erica Bicknase had three kills. Maddie Wenzel recorded four block assists, while Brookelyn Stieben had nine assists. Nevaeh Grann added four assists. Jenna Hanson and Ally Haga had eight digs apiece. Haga had two aces and Brooklyn Hoek had an ace.
