CHAMBERLAIN -- West Central swept Chamberlain in a Thursday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-16, 25-16 and 25-11.


Aberdeen Christian 3, Wolsey-Wessington 2

WOLSEY -- Aberdeen Christian upset Class B No. 1 Wolsey-Wessington in a five-set thriller on Thursday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-19, 20-25, 20-25 and 15-11.

Mary Fites led the Knights with 17 kills, while Hanna Miller had 13 kills and 13 digs. Mallory Miller had nine kills and two solo blocks, while Kaylee Block recorded 36 assists, 14 digs and three aces. Joy Rohrbach posted five assists and 32 digs. 

For Wolsey-Wessington, Mya Boomsma had 27 kills and 25 digs. Leah Williams finished with 13 kills, 18 digs and two aces. Kailynn Dorris had 10 kills and seven blocks. Hailey Clarke posted 18 assists and Taylor Horn had 14 assists and three blocks. Macie Luce had 13 assists and three blocks. 


Northwestern 3, Ipswich 0

IPSWICH -- Northwestern swept Ipswich in a high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 25-17, 25-11 and 25-18.

Ella Haven had 20 kills and Brooklinn Halvorson finished with 31 assists. Teryn Sparling posted four aces and Haiden Grandpre posted three block assists. Ashley Haven had seven of the team’s 26 digs.

For Ipswich, Katie Bierman had five kills and three aces. Quincy Olivier had 11 assists, eight digs and five aces. Gracie Lange recorded four kills. Madison Geditz had eight digs. 


Bridgewater-Emery 3, Viborg-Hurley 0

VIBORG -- Bridgewater-Emery defeated Viborg-Hurley in straight sets in high school volleyball action on Thursday. The set scores were 25-10, 25-13 and 25-13.

Julia Weber led the Huskies with 12 kills, while Morgan Uptagrafft, Casey Meyer and Taylor Schallenkamp had seven kills apiece. Meyer added 12 assists and two aces. Uptagrafft recorded six digs and Schallenkamp had four digs. Kaitlyn Roskens had 11 assists and seven digs. Cara Meyer had 10 digs and six aces. 

For Viborg-Hurley, Delana Mach and Coral Mason posted four kills and 10 digs apiece. Denae Mach and Charley Nelson had seven digs apiece. Estelle Lee and Mataya Vannorsdel had six digs apiece, while Vannorsdel had six assists. 


Corsica-Stickney 3, Ethan 0

CORSICA -- Corsica-Stickney swept Ethan in high school volleyball action on Thursday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-12 and 25-21.

Bella Nesheim led the Jaguars with 11 kills, 17 digs and five aces. Hannah Bartscher recorded eight kills and 10 digs. Ava Lingemann posted nine kills, 19 assists and 10 digs. Maddy Bartscher recorded 16 assists and Alexis Myers had two blocks. 

For Corsica-Stickney, Rachel Gerlach had nine kills and 10 digs. Morgan Clites posted 10 digs, seven kills and two assists. Payton DeLange had four digs and two kills. Casey Tolsma had eight digs, while Sutten Eide posted 17 assists and nine digs. Jacey Kemp recorded two kills and two digs. Cora Heidinger finished with seven digs. 


Colman-Egan 3, Lake Preston 0

COLMAN -- Colman-Egan swept Lake Preston in straight sets in high school volleyball action on Thursday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-5 and 25-15.

Mackenzie Hemmer led Colman-Egan with two blocks, two aces, 13 kills and 17 digs. Hailey Larson added 10 kills and six digs. Daniela Lee posted four kills and Berkley Groos had six digs. Ava Mousel and Lanie Mousel had 16 and eight assists, respectively. Faith Taggart had two blocks.

For Lake Preston, Faith Steffensen had five kills and one block. Annika Nelson added three kills and five digs. Ava Malone posted three kills and five digs. Jocelyn Steffensen and Hadlee Holt had seven and five assists, respectively.


Faulkton Area 3, Miller 0

MILLER -- Faulkton Area swept Miller in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-14 and 25-21.

Isabel Aesoph led Faulkton Area with 13 kills and 25 digs. Shayna Heitmann added 10 kills and four aces, while Camryn Deiter posted 13 assists and 16 digs. Gabby Kast had 11 assists and Sydney Campbell posted 14 digs. Addison Melius recorded two aces.

For Miller, Ally Mullaney recorded five kills. Jaden Werdel had 17 digs, four kills and one ace. Ruby Carder had three kills. Tyra Gates and Payton Kilker had 10 digs apiece. Abigail Blake had six digs, two kills and three solo blocks. 


Chester Area 3, Howard 0

CHESTER -- Chester Area swept Howard in straight sets in a high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 25-18, 25-14 and 25-16.

Brecklyn Ewoldt and Jayda Kenyon had 11 kills and one block apiece in the win. Ewoldt added 16 digs and three aces, while Emery Larson recorded 24 digs. Lily VanHal posted 19 assists and four aces. Carly Becker posted 16 assists. 

For Howard, Aleya Kizer finished with five kills and Kate Connor posted two kills and three blocks. Rylee Rudebusch had seven assists and 13 digs. Abby Aslesen finished with four blocks and two aces. Emma Rudebusch finished with two aces and Piper Thompson had 13 digs. 


Arlington 3, Castlewood 0

ARLINGTON -- Arlington swept Castlewood in Thursday high school volleyball action on Thursday. The set scores were 25-21, 25-13 and 25-19.

Hadley Carlson led Arlington with 22 kills and 14 digs. Erin Haufschild added 11 kills, while Morgan Larsen had four aces, five kills and nine digs. Grace Parry posted 35 assists and five aces. Harley Johnson recorded nine digs. 

For Castlewood, Presley Knecht, Mackenzie Everson and Maddie Horn had five kills apiece. Knecht added 10 digs and two aces. Everson recorded 17 digs and Horn had a block. Gracie Haug logged 17 assists and Kailyn Larson posted five assists. Emerson Carter added two blocks.


Highmore-Harrold 3, Hitchcock-Tulare 2

HIGHMORE -- Highmore-Harrold edged Hitchcock-Tulare in a five-set high school marathon match on Thursday. The set scores were 20-25, 25-22, 25-10, 21-25 and 15-11.

Letha Jessen led the Pirates with 23 kills and four aces. Alexis Roth posted 10 kills, while Courtney Moser had 35 assists. Kendall Cermak posted five aces and Brooklyn Babun had one ace. Kenidey Effling finished with 18 digs and Reghan Westcott had 14 digs.

For Hitchcock-Tulare, Katelyn Schroeder had 19 kills and four solo blocks. Madison Hofer finished with 10 kills and one ace. Kaycee Stoner had two aces, while Presley Binger had 20 assists and Shandi Chasing Hawk added 14 assists. Schroeder posted 27 digs and Hofer had 16 digs. 


Estelline-Hendricks 3, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 1

HENDRICKS, Minn. -- Estelline-Hendricks earned a four-set high school volleyball win over Oldham-Ramona/Rutland on Thursday. The set scores were 25-23, 25-14, 22-25 and 25-22.

Kenzy Beare finished with 15 kills and three blocks. Kate Wegner posted 21 digs, 10 kills and two aces. Danielle Hawley posted five kills and two aces. Sadie Johnson posted 30 assists and 32 digs. Rachel Hexem had two blocks.

For ORR, Julia Trygstad posted 16 kills, three aces and three blocks. Bailey Hyland had six kills and 25 digs. Paige Hanson finished with 16 assists and Brooklyn Hageman had 10 assists. Alivia Bickett had three aces and 34 digs. Sine Matson added 28 digs. 



Deubrook Area 3, Dell Rapids St. Mary 1

DEUBROOK -- Deubrook Area picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Dell Rapids St. Mary on Thursday. The set scores were 15-25, 25-8, 25-22 and 25-12.

Emma Vandermeer finished with 15 kills, 13 digs and five blocks. Brooke Koppatschek had 15 assists and two aces. Miranda Moravetz and Koppatschek had five kills apiece. Delaney Petersen and Madalyn Bauman had two aces apiece. 

For Dell Rapids St. Mary, Courtney Brown had 17 kills and 14 digs. Maya Heinitz recorded nine kills and Brianna Lindeman had 14 assists. Ella Griffin had seven assists, four blocks and two aces. Whitney Warwick and Josie Baumberger had 14 and 12 digs, respectively. Addyson Gilbert added four blocks. 


Elkton-Lake Benton 3, De Smet 1

ELKTON -- Elkton-Lake Benton earned a four-set high school volleyball win over De Smet on Thursday. The set scores were 25-18, 25-15, 22-25 and 25-23.

Kailyn Drietz led the Elks with 12 kills and 15 digs. Rachael Krog posted 14 kills and 11 digs. Madisyn Nielsen recorded seven kills and two digs. Kylie Ramlo posted seven kills and 13 digs. Aubree Bales had five kills and three digs. Tevan Erickson dished out 39 assists and had 19 digs. Kinsley Krog had seven digs and Kayla Goertz had six digs. 

For De Smet, Kennadi Buchholz had 13 kills, 13 digs and five blocks. Jada Burke posted 10 kills, 10 digs and three blocks. Cori Birkel added seven kills and 15 digs. Emma Albrecht finished with 11 assists, eight digs and two kills. Katelyn Halverson recorded 13 assists and eight digs. Jacie McCune had four blocks and two digs, while Ella Poppinga added 13 digs. 


Baltic 3, Flandreau 0

FLANDREAU -- Baltic knocked off Flandreau in straight sets in a high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 25-12, 25-10 and 25-8.

Sam Polzin led Baltic with 12 kills and 11 digs. Emma Van Regenmorter had four blocks and Cami Artz had four aces. Baily Teveldal and Jacie Wendland had 16 and 12 assists, respectively. Elyssa Clark added 10 digs and Madison Kennedy had nine digs. 

For Flandreau, Claire Sheppard had four kills and Lily Klein added three kills. Klein also had seven digs. Lizzie Pavlis posted two blocks, while Abby Schoeberl had nine digs, one ace and one block. Bella Pavlis posted two digs and Maria Parsley recorded nine digs. 


Madison 3, Vermillion 0

MADISON -- Madison picked up a three-set sweep over Vermillion in Thursday prep volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-13 and 25-18.

Audrey Nelson led the Bulldogs with 15 kills and five blocks. Megan Schouwenburg had three kills, while Kylie Krusemark had 23 assists and two aces. Raena Rost had 22 digs and Maycee Theede had 11 digs. Karly Lurz posted two blocks and Amanda Vacanti had two aces.

For Vermillion, Brooklyn Voss posted 10 kills and one block. Brooke Jensen added eight kills, while Annika Barnett had two aces. Kelsey O’Neill posted 17 digs and one ace. Kara Klemme finished with 12 digs, while Claire Doty had 20 assists and one block. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 3, Tea Area 0

ELK POINT -- Elk Point-Jefferson recorded a three-set sweep over Tea Area in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-21 and 25-17.

Bentlee Kollbaum posted five kills, five digs and five blocks. Josie Curry added five kills and five blocks. Danica Torrez recorded 14 digs, four blocks and four kills. Natalie Heuertz had four kills, while Alyssa Chytka had 23 digs and two aces. Ashley Brewer finished with three kills, while Sophia Giorgio had four digs, two blocks, one ace and 21 assists.

For Tea Area, Mara Grant had eight kills and two blocks. Ryen Hawkey had six kills and Cassidy Gors posted 20 digs. Jillian Huenink had 25 assists and Lizzy Spah posted six kills. 


Parker 3, Alcester-Hudson 1

PARKER -- Parker earned a four-set high school volleyball win over Alcester-Hudson on Thursday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-15, 23-25 and 25-16.

Brooke Berens posted 11 kills and 32 digs, while Katie Bialas had 11 kills and two blocks. Desiree Pierce logged 50 digs, while Alexis Even had 24 assists. Terryn Fuller recorded 12 assists. Halle Berens had nine kills and nine digs, while Josie Leberman had 13 digs. Janae Olson finished with four kills and one block. 

For Alcester-Hudson, Roni Rhead had 11 kills and five digs. Ella Serck added 16 assists and 16 digs. Hannah Ahart added 11 digs and two assists. Elly Doering finished with 14 digs and four kills. Alexis Gray had five digs, four assists and three kills. Emma Moller and Jenna Manning had 17 and 14 digs, respectively. Baylee Klaschen added nine digs. 


Redfield 3, Sisseton 0

REDFIELD -- Redfield swept Sisseton in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-15, 26-24 and 25-19.

Gracie Fast put down 12 kills, while Camryn Rohlfs added 21 assists and three aces. Chelsea Smith finished with four aces and Mallory Smith recorded eight kills. Denae Paulsen logged nine digs and Katie Rozell had two solo blocks. 

Sisseton stats were not reported. 


Dell Rapids 3, Tri-Valley 2

COLTON -- Dell Rapids outlasted Tri-Valley in a five-set high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 21-25, 25-12, 18-25, 25-13 and 15-12.

Riley Hill led the Quarriers with 10 digs, five aces and 17 assists. Madelynn Henry posted 14 kills and Sophi Randall had 11 kills. Randall added 10 assists, while Randall and Kenzie Garry had 10 digs apiece. Randall added 18 assists. Lexi Ingalls posted five aces. Garry and Randall each had a solo block. 

For Tri-Valley, Hillary Hastings had four kills and Megan Wenzel had three kills. Wenzel added four solo blocks and Ava Pearson had one solo block. Jenna Hanson and Hannah West had 10 and eight digs, respectively. McKenzie Atwood posted four aces, while Nevaeh Gerann had 10 assists. Brooklyn Stieben had nine assists and one ace. 


Sioux Falls Washington 3, Pierre 0

SIOUX FALLS -- Sioux Falls Washington swept Pierre in high school volleyball action on Thursday. The set scores were 25-16, 26-24 and 25-17.

Joslyn Richardson had 15 kills and 16 digs. Ellie Walker added nine kills, three aces and one block. Jadyn Schetnan had 30 digs and Macie Malchow added 35 assists. Malchow and Richardson had three aces apiece.

For Pierre, Ayvrie Kaiser had five kills and four blocks. Reese Terwilliger had five kills, two aces and two blocks. Aleise Christopherson and Addyson Cumbow had four digs apiece. Lily Sanchez added 13 assists. Remi Price had two aces.
