WOLSEY -- Class B No. 1 Wolsey-Wessington swept Hitchcock-Tulare in straight sets in high school volleyball action on Thursday. The set scores were 25-19, 28-26 and 25-13.

Mya Boomsma paced the Warbirds with 19 kills and 16 digs. Leah Williams finished with nine kills and 15 digs. Lainey Uttecht added 15 digs, while Kailynn Dorris added six kills and eight blocks. Macie Luce and Hailey Clarke posted 11 assists apiece. Clarke added two aces and Alyssa Hiles had two aces. 

For Hitchcock-Tulare, Katelyn Schroeder finished with 15 kills, two aces and one block. Madison Hofer finished with 14 digs, three kills, two blocks and one ace. Bethany Wiebe had two kills. Shandi Chasing Hawk added 20 assists and nine digs. Danielle Nowell added five digs. 

Castlewood 3, Lake Preston 0

LAKE PRESTON -- Castlewood picked up a straight sets sweep over Lake Preston in high school volleyball action on Thursday. The set scores were 25-10, 25-22 and 25-13.

Mackenzie Everson led the Warriors with 15 kills and two aces. Presley Knecht added four kills, while Gracie Haug finished with 12 assists. Lindsey Archer and Maddie Horn had three aces apiece, while Horn had 18 digs. Kailyn Larson finished with 13 digs and 10 assists. Gracie Haug chipped in with 11 digs. 

For Lake Preston, Morgan Curd had a team-high nine kills, while Annika Nelson had four kills and nine digs. Jocelyn Steffensen had six assists and nine digs, while Ava Malone recorded 11 digs. 

Ethan 3, Menno 0

MENNO -- Ethan topped Menno in straight sets in a high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 25-19, 25-15 and 25-15.

Bella Nesheim led the Rustlers with 11 kills and 12 digs. Ava Lingemann finished with 21 assists and Madeline Bartscher had 10 assists. Hannah Bartscher recorded 13 digs, three blocks and three kills. Emiley Hoffman recorded four kills and Marissa Storm added three aces. 

For Menno, Bridget Vaith recorded five kills and Kaelea McCoy added four kills. Julia Buechler finished with 10 digs and three kills. Paityn Huber added eight assists, five digs and two kills. Grace Nusz recorded six assists and nine digs. Raygen Diede finished with six digs, three kills and two aces. Madelyn Kludt posted four digs. 

Scotland 3, Freeman Academy/Marion 0

SCOTLAND -- Scotland earned a sweep over Freeman Academy/Marion in high school volleyball action on Thursday. The set scores were 25-15, 25-15 and 26-24.

Martina DeBoer and Trinity Bietz had 12 kills apiece, while Delanie Van Driel finished with three kills and four aces. Bietz added five aces. Rylee Conrad posted 23 assists and two aces. Joslyn Walloch had five digs. Tatum Andretta, Grace Robb and Bailey Vitek had three digs apiece. 

For FAM, Alivea Weber finished with seven kills, three digs and five aces. Kallie Johnson added nine digs and Hailey Stahl put down five kills. 

Elkton-Lake Benton 3, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 1

LAKE BENTON -- Elkton-Lake Benton knocked off Oldham-Ramona/Rutland in a four-set high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 25-22, 24-26, 25-16 and 25-10.

Tevan Erickson led the Elks with 24 assists, 25 digs, seven kills and two solo blocks. Kailyn Drietz added 10 kills and 10 digs. Rachael Krog logged seven kills, three assists and 17 digs. Kayla Goertz posted 18 digs and Kinsley Krog added 15 digs. 

For ORR, Bailey Hyland finished with six kills and 11 digs. Julia Trygstad and Alivia Spilde had five kills apiece. Alivia Bickett posted 24 digs and Paige Hanson posted 14 assists. Sine Matson recorded 20 digs. 

Highmore-Harrold 3, Iroquois/Doland 1

HIGHMORE -- Highmore-Harrold topped Iroquois/Doland in a four-set high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 25-18, 22-25, 25-13 and 25-11.

Letha Jessen led the Pirates with 20 kills and one block, while Courtney Moser added 10 kills, 10 digs, 29 assists and four aces. Reghan Westcott added eight aces and eight digs. Kendall Cermak had five aces. Alexis Roth posted 10 kills. 

For Iroquois/Doland, Harley Nelson finished with six kills, seven digs and seven assists. Becca Bich recorded five kills and three aces. Katie Dubro posted seven digs. 

Great Plains Lutheran 3, Wilmot 0

WILMOT -- Great Plains Lutheran swept Wilmot in straight sets in a high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-11 and 25-14.

Bryn Holmen finished with 12 kills, four aces and two solo blocks. Mali York posted eight kills and nine digs. Olivia Giovannettone finished with 18 assists, five aces and six digs. Olivia Holmen added seven kills, while Ellie Scharlemann had 11 digs and two aces. Kyrie Roberts added eight assists and six digs. 

For Wilmot, Paige Johnson recorded six kills. Maddie Remund posted seven assists and seven digs, while Marissa Getzlaff posted nine digs and one ace. Ashlyn Ebben recorded two solo blocks and Kayla Hamman added one solo block. 

Colman-Egan 3, Hamlin 0

COLMAN -- Colman-Egan swept Hamlin in straight sets in prep volleyball action on Thursday. The set scores were 25-17, 25-22 and 25-23.

Mackenzie Hemmer finished with 13 kills, 23 digs and three blocks. Hailey Larson finished with 13 kills and 19 digs. Lanie Mousel and Ava Mousel finished with 17 and 15 assists, respectively. 

Berkley Groos had 11 digs and Daniela Lee finished with seven kills. 

For Hamlin, Ally Abraham had 17 kills and three blocks, while Gracelyn Leiseth posted 11 kills. Grace Everson finished with 20 assists and Kami Wadsworth posted 15 assists and three blocks. Ava Prouty and Alyssa West finished with 15 and 13 digs, respectively.

IPSWICH -- Ipswich picked up a three-set sweep over Sunshine Bible Academy in prep volleyball action on Thursday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-4 and 25-14.

Gracie Lange led the Tigers with 12 kills, while Katie Bierman posted seven kills and two assists. Tasia Rivera recorded five kills, while Quincy Olivier had four aces and 17 assists. Baylee Kulesa posted three aces and six digs. Madison Geditz had a team-high 11 digs.

For SBA, Sadie Konechne, Annalise Van Zee and Rylee Nelson had one kill apiece. Jakki Burma had one assist and three digs. Aja Paul posted one ace.

Redfield 3, Deuel 1

CLEAR LAKE -- Redfield won the last three sets for a four-set prep volleyball win over Deuel on Thursday. The set scores were 24-26, 25-20, 25-19 and 27-25.

Gracie Fast posted a team-high 17 kills, while Denae Paulsen had eight kills. Camryn Rohlfs finished with five aces, 30 assists and 12 digs. Ashlyn Clausen recorded 16 digs and Katie Rozell had a team-high two solo blocks.

For Deuel, Haley Winter finished with 18 kills, 15 digs, three aces and two solo blocks. Emma Hamann and Josie Andersen recorded five kills apiece. Andersen added 24 digs and four solo blocks. Gracie Fieber and Allyson Hagberg logged 16 assists apiece. Darby Koenecke recorded 14 digs. 

Baltic 3, Sioux Valley 1

VOLGA -- Baltic picked up a four-set win over Sioux Valley in high school volleyball action on Thursday in the Big East Tournament. The set scores were 25-16, 25-14, 17-25, 25-16.

Elyssa Clark finished with 11 kills and seven digs. Emma VanRegenmorter and Cami Artz posted eight kills apiece. Sami Polzin recorded nine kills and 16 digs. Madison Kennedy added nine digs, while Daynica Witzel had four digs and five kills apiece. Jacie Wendland and Baily Teveldal had 18 and 15 assists, respectively. Teveldal recorded seven digs.  

For Sioux Valley, Reagan Johnson had seven kills and four digs. Ashley Bjerke posted 10 assists, three kills and three digs. Kaedyn Sapp posted five kills and four digs. Talya Vincent had five assists and four digs. Kasey Pistulka added 14 digs. 

Beresford 3, Sioux Valley 1

VOLGA -- Beresford topped Sioux Valley on Thursday in the second round of the Big East Tournament on Thursday. The set scores were 25-15, 18-25, 25-19 and 25-10.

Kara Niles led Beresford with 14 kills, while Savanah Beeson posted 10 kills and four digs. Irelyn Fickbohm had six kills, while Larissa Tiedeman had 10 digs and 19 assists. Rachel Zanter finished with 29 digs and Autumn Namminga finished with 12 digs. 

For Sioux Valley, Reagan Johnson finished with 18 kills and eight digs. Adison Renkly posted seven kills, while Kaedyn Sapp posted six kills and six digs. Kasey Pistulka had 22 digs and Katie Richarz finished with 12 digs. Talya Vincent finished with 11 assists. Ashley Bjerke finished with 17 assists and nine digs. 

Mobridge-Pollock 3, North Central 0 

MOBRIDGE -- Mobridge-Pollock swept North Central in a high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-11 and 25-20.

North Central’s Hope Hoerner finished with five kills and Billie Hoffman posted three kills. Sierra Hoffman finished with 21 digs and Kaitlyn Hoerner recorded 10 assists. Sierra Hoffman added seven aces and Mackenzie Kaiser had two aces. Jenisa Jacobs posted 14 digs. 

Vermillion 3, Tri-Valley 2

COLTON -- Vermillion outlasted Tri-Valley in a five-set high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 16-25, 25-16, 18-25, 25-16 and 15-10.

Brooklyn Voss led the Tanagers with 13 kills and six solo blocks. Kara Klemme finished with eight kills and two aces. Kelsey O’Neill had 17 digs and Annika Barnett logged 12 digs and three aces. Brooke Jensen finished with six solo blocks and Claire Doty had a team-high 33 assists.

Harrisburg 3, Mitchell 0

HARRISBURG -- Harrisburg swept Mitchell in a prep volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 26-24, 25-12 and 25-21.

Abby Meister led the Tigers with 17 kills and 12 digs. Morissen Samuels finished with 10 kills, while Maggie Meister posted 20 assists. Alissa Dierks finished with 17 assists and two aces. Zoe Rallis added 15 digs. Francie Mertz and Kayleigh Hybertson each had a block.

For Mitchell, Kaspen Alm had a team-high 14 kills and Lizzie Tyler finished with 14 assists. Sawyer Stoebner recorded four blocks and Sarah Sebert posted 15 digs. 

Sioux Falls Lincoln 3, Sioux Falls Jefferson 2

SIOUX FALLS -- Sioux Falls Lincoln outlasted Sioux Falls Jefferson in a five-set high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 26-24, 21-25, 18-25, 25-21 and 15-11 

Baily Plourde finished with 16 kills, 11 digs and four aces. Linnea Nesheim posted 12 kills, while Samantha Zeeck posted 55 assists and three aces. Brynn Kirsch finished with 16 digs and Anna Engels recorded five blocks.

For Jefferson, Emory Brosnahan had 10 kills and Maddie Paulsen added eight kills. Paulsen logged three blocks. Averi Schmitt and Addi Sargent recorded 17 and 11 assists, respectively. Cora Hoekstrad and Ella Kvernmo finished with 21 and 15 digs, respectively. Kvernmo and Laney Peterson had three aces apiece. Jaidyn Dunn added three blocks.
