Wolsey-Wessington 3, Redfield 2 

REDFIELD -- Wolsey-Wessington outlasted Redfield in a five-set high school volleyball match on Monday. The set scores were 15-23, 25-23, 25-20, 21-25 and 15-9.

Wolsey-Wessington’s Mya Boomsma had 24 kills, while Leah Williams had 17 kills and 25 digs. Hailey Clarke finished with 26 assists, while Taylor Horn had 14 assists. Lainey Uttecht had 31 digs, while Horn and Giyahna Richmond had four blocks apiece. 

Redfield’s Gracie Fast had 12 kills and 12 digs. Katie Rozell finished with eight kills and three solo blocks. Denae Paulsen had 15 digs. 

Chester Area 3, Arlington 1

CHESTER -- Chester Area topped Arlington in a four-set high school volleyball match on Monday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-23, 23-25 and 25-8.

Breckyn Ewoldt posted 16 kills and three aces, while Jayda Kenyon had 12 kills. Lily Van Hal finished with 25 digs, 20 assists, 11 kills and four aces. Carly Becker had 25 assists, while Addison Bates logged five blocks. Emery Larson recorded 29 digs. 

Arlington’s Hadley Carlson had 24 kills, 20 digs and three blocks. Erin Haufschild had 12 kills and Grace Parry dished out 41 assists. Morgan Larsen had 18 digs and two blocks. 

Northwestern 3, North Central 0

MELLETTE -- Northwestern swept North Central in straight sets in Monday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-11 and 25-6.

Northwestern’s Ella Haven had six kills, four aces and five digs. Emma Grandpre posted five kills and four aces. Mackenzie Stoltenberg added four kills, while Brooklinn Halvorson posted 15 assists and nine digs. Ella Haven logged five digs and four aces. Teryn Sparling added four aces, while Ashley Haven and Haiden Grandpre had two block assists apiece.

North Central’s Natalie Bieber had five kills and one block. Sierra Hoffman added two kills, while Jenisa Jacobs had two aces and six digs. Kaitlyn Hoerner had six assists and four digs. Hope Hoerner had two blocks and one kill. 

Colman-Egan 3, Dell Rapids St. Mary 0

COLMAN -- Colman-Egan topped Dell Rapids St. Mary in straight sets in Monday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-17 and 25-9.

Mackenzie Hemmer led Colman-Egan with 12 kills and eight digs. Hailey Larson posted eight kills, eight digs and one block. Daniela Lee added six digs and five kills. Ava Mousel recorded 21 assists and eight digs. Lanie Mousel had four assists, while Kadance Landis added two aces and one solo block. 

For Dell Rapids St. Mary, Courtney Brown logged 10 kills, eight digs, four block assists and one ace. Ella Griffin finished with four assists and four kills. Maya Heinitz had six kills, six digs and two block assists. Brianna Lindeman posted 13 assists and Madala Hanson had six assists. Whitney Warwick posted four digs. Addyson Gilbert had six block assists and Josie Baumberger had three digs. 

Ipswich 3, Herreid/Selby Area 1

IPSWICH -- Ipswich topped Herreid/Selby Area in a four-set high school volleyball match on Monday. The set scores were 25-20, 21-25, 25-11 and 25-21.

Ipswich’s Katie Bierman posted 17 kills and nine assists. Gracie Lange added 16 kills. Baylee Kulesa had 15 digs, six kills, two aces and one solo block. Quincy Olivier had four aces and 24 assists. Madison Geditz posted 25 digs. Kaylin Onken had a solo block.

HSA’s Mya Ebel had eight kills and one ace. Jada Rossow posted six kills and one block assist. Kendell Sawinsky had three kills. Caitlyn Anderson and Sophia Ritter had seven and five assists, respectively. Steph Allbee and Sawinsky had 15 and 14 digs, respectively. Cheyenne Wurtz posted one solo block and one block assist. 

Milbank 3, Tiospa Zina 0

MILBANK -- Milbank swept Tiospa Zina in straight sets in Monday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-23, 25-15 and 25-22.

Milbank’s Casside Seezs posted 11 kills and two aces. Skyler Skoog and Rachel Schulte had 10 kills apiece. Schulte added a block. Addisyn Krause posted 22 assists, while Averie Engebretson had three aces and five assists. Hallie Schulte postd 15 digs, while Emily Wollschlager, Krause and Engebretson had six digs apiece.

No stats were reported for Tiospa Zina. 

Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 3, Lake Preston 0

LAKE PRESTON -- Oldham-Ramona/Rutland swept Lake Preston in a Monday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-8, 25-18 and 26-24.

ORR’s Julia Trygstad led the way with 14 kills, three aces and two blocks. Brooklyn Hageman logged 16 assists. Sine Matson and Alivia Bickett had 20 and 17 digs, respectively. 

Lake Preston’s Annika Nelson, Jocelyn Steffensen and Marissa Rober had two kills apiece. Steffensen added three aces and 11 digs. Ava Malone finished with 13 digs and one ace. Morgan Curd posted eight digs and two aces. Nelson, Faith Steffensen and Hadlee Holt had one block apiece. 

Garretson 3, Sioux Valley 0

VOLGA -- Garretson swept Sioux Valley in Monday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 25-14 and 25-14.

Garretson’s Lily Ranschau had nine kills, nine digs and three aces. Logan Bly added eight kills, five digs and two solo blocks. Kaylin Koch posted seven kills, three digs, two block assists and one ace. Lexi Gawarecki finished with 11 digs and two aces. Jaelyn Benson finished with one ace, five kills, eight digs and 23 assists. Aliyah Leedy added three aces and two digs. 

Sioux Valley’s Reagan Johnson and Adison Renkly had six kills apiece, while Johnson had six digs. Kaedyn Sapp posted four kills and three digs. Kasey Pistulka had 14 digs and Ashley Bjerke finished with 14 assists and six digs. 

McCook Central/Montrose 3, Hanson 1

ALEXANDRIA -- McCook Central/Montrose topped Hanson in a four-set high school volleyball match on Monday. The set scores were 28-30, 25-11, 25-9 and 25-14.

Tayah McGregor finished with 15 kills and five blocks. Michaela McCormick posted eight kills, four digs and three aces. Brianna Even finished with 40 assists and two aces. Katelyn Lueth recorded seven kills, while Aubyn Schmidt had five kills and four digs. Abby Roling recorded 14 digs and one ace. Zoey Bartmann logged six digs. Kayla Vander Woude had six kills. Aubree Kranz had one ace. 

Hanson’s Annalyse Weber recorded 13 digs, six kills and one ace. Kiana Berg posted two aces. Jalyn Kampshoff had nine assists and nine digs. Erin Dewald posted six digs, two kills and one block. Taylor Schroeder posted seven digs, while Skylar Holm had six digs. 

Parker 3, Vermillion 0

VERMILLION -- Parker swept Vermillion in a Monday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-16, 25-20 and 25-21.

Parker’s Brooke Berens finished with seven kills and 16 digs. Halle Berens and Katie Bialas had six kills apiece, while Bialas had four aces and two blocks. Terryn Fuller finished with 28 assists and one ace. Janae Olson had five kills and two blocks. Alexis Even recorded 28 digs. 

Vermillion’s Claire Doty dished out 22 assists and recorded her 1,000th career assist in the match. She added a block. Kara Klemme and Brooklyn Voss finished with nine and eight kills, respectively. Voss also had a block. Annika Barnett and Kelsey O’Neill finished with 14 digs apiece, while Barnett logged three aces.
