RAPID CITY — The Hill City boys and Philip girls captured team titles at Thursday’s Region 6B golf meet at Hart Ranch Golf Club. 

The Ranger boys finished with a team score of 237, finishing ahead of Wall (245) and Philip (258). Timber Lake (267) and Lemmon (278) rounded out the top-five teams. 

The Philip girls scored a 291, finishing ahead of Harding County (335) and Bennett County (356). Wall (379) placed fourth. 

Individually, Wall’s Trevor Schultz (76) was the boys individual medalist. He shot 38s on both nines, and carded two birdies on the day. Schultz edged Hill City’s Leo Daiss (77) for individual medalist honors. 

Timber Lake’s Hayden Thompson, McIntosh’s Wyatt Larson and Hill City’s Zane Messick all tied for third place with 79s. 

Philip’s Addy Miller (95) was the girls individual medalist. She shot a 47 on the front nine and a 48 on the back nine. Harding County’s Alexis McCann, Philip’s Taylor O’Connell and Kendall O’Connell all tied for second with 98s. Philip’s Londen Wishard (110) rounded out the top-five golfers. 

The Class B boys and girls golf tournament is June 2-3 in Watertown.
