HURON — Hitchcock-Tulare’s Logan LaBrie won four different events at Tuesday’s 281 Conference track and field meet.

LaBrie won the 100-meter dash (:11.15), set a new meet record in the 200-meter dash (:22.83),   secured the 300-meter hurdles (:44.06) and the triple jump event (40-05.75).

The Hitchcock-Tulare boys captured the team title with 155 points, ahead of James Valley Christian (124) and Wolsey-Wessington (118). The Wolsey-Wessington girls scored 143 points Tuesday to take the team title, clipping Hitchcock-Tulare (140) and James Valley Christian (99).

In the boys’ meet, James Valley Christian’s Isaac Wipf secured the 400-meter dash (:55.13).

JVC’s Kaden Ober ran a new personal best to win the 800-meter run (2:06.72) and also captured the 3,200-meter run (10:15.51). Levi Crandall won the 1,600-meter run (4:57.79) with a new PR for the Vikings as well.

Wolsey-Wessington’s Sawyer Nelson captured the 110-meter hurdles (:16.93) and the javelin throw (126-02).

WW’s Cooper Timm, Josiah Malone, Rio Zaher and Breydyn Skipper won the 400-meter relay (:47.83) while Timm, Nelson, Wyatt Koester and Caleb Richmond won the 1,600-meter relay (3:46.90).

Wessington Springs’ Nathan Gaikowski, Wesley Molnar, Will Grohs and Logan Mebius won the 800-meter relay (1:38.97) while Molnar, Carson Finn, Grohs and Mebius also won the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (3:52.62).

Sunshine Bible Academy’s Josh Wilken, Josiah Stiegelmeier, Toby Mickelson and Reagan Sandness captured the 3,200-meter relay (9:12.41).

In the field events, Iroquois/Lake Preston Rexton Blue captured the shot put (134-05) while teammate Rayson Timm secured the shot put (43-07.25).

HT’s Seth Smith won the pole vault event (8-06) while teammate Devin Enander captured the long jump title (21-02.50).

Wessington Springs’ Finn won the high jump event (6-01).

On the girls’ side, Sunshine Bible Academy’s Tessa Hinman won the 100-meter dash (:12.98) and the 200-meter dash (:27.46).

Wessington Springs’ Kenzie Kolousek ran a new meet record to win the 400-meter dash (:59.52).

Wolsey-Wessington’s Kendal Uttecht captured the 800-meter run (2:26.52).

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket’s Emrie VonEye captured the 1,600-meter run (5:37.10), while Lainey Goertz took first place in the 300-meter hurdles (:49.91) and took second in the 100-meter hurdles (:16.29).

Highmore-Harrold’s Autumn Fallis secured the 3,200-meter run (13:15.13).

SCW’s Liz Boschee took the top spot in the 100-meter hurdles (:16.16), the javelin throw (137-03) and the high jump (5-02).

WW’s Danika Peterson, Eastlyn Burton, Shae Uttecht and Kendal Uttecht captured the 400-meter relay (:53.97).

SBA’s Dakota Boersma, Daraby Boersma, Ciera Mickelson and Hinman won the 800-meter relay (1:53.23) and the 1,600-meter relay (4:20.11).

Hitchcock-Tulare’s RaeAnna Knock, Kaylie LaBrie, Addy Ihnen and Avarie Estey secured the 3.200-meter relay (11:19.84).

SCW’s Kaidence Fridley, Goertz, Boschee and VonEye won the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (4:45.67).

In the field events, Iroquois/Lake Preston’s Hadlee Holt won the discus (129-08) and tossed a new meet record to win the shot put title (41-11.75).

WW’s Marley Boomsma won the pole vault event (7-00).

HT’s Emmerie Arthurs captured the long jump (16-02.00) while teammate Knock secured the triple jump title (30-11.50).
