SALEM — Howard’s Melanie Calmus and Hanson’s Keaton Weber each claimed three individual first-place finishes at Tuesday’s Rasmussen Relays.

Calmus won the 100-meter dash (:13.40), 200-meter dash (:27.10) and long jump (16-1). Weber won the high jump (5-6), long jump (20-3) and triple jump (40-5.5).

The Hanson teams swept the team titles. The Hanson boys finished with 162 points, ahead of Freeman (133) and McCook Central/Montrose (69). The Hanson girls recorded 119 points, ahead of Freeman (104) and Canistota (86). 

In girls action, Hanson’s Olivia Kayser won the shot put (33-1.50) and discus (112-1). Hanson’s Jersey Kampshoff won the 1,600-meter run (6:20.14), Ava Doyle won the javelin (90-1), Lillian Bahmuller won the high jump (4-5) and Jazzlyn Campbell won the triple jump (33-5.50). Hanson won the 1,600-meter relay (4:41.91). 

Freeman’s Rylee Peters won the 100-meter hurdles (:16.83) and 300-meter hurdles (:49.33). Howard’s Ellie Becker won the 800-meter run (2:40.82) and anchored the winning 3,200-meter relay (11:28.90). 

Canistota’s Allison Leber won the 400-meter dash (1:03.95) and finished second in the long jump (15-3.50). 

McCook Central/Montrose won the 400-meter relay (:54.46) and 800-meter relay (1:55.74).  

In boys action, Hanson’s Stetson Riggs was a double winner in the 110-meter hurdles (:19.06) and 300-meter hurdles (:48.51). 

Hanson’s Weston Kayser won the 100-meter dash (:11.61) and anchored the winning 400-meter relay (:44.92). The Beavers also won the 800-meter relay (1:33.54) and 1,600-meter relay (3:33.65). Radek Jarding won the javelin (143-3) for the Beavers. 

Freeman’s Lane McCune was a double winner in the 1,600-meter run (5:00.63) and 3,200-meter run (10:58.02). He was also on the winning 3,200-meter relay (9:06.08). 

McCook Central/Montrose’s Jackson Schmidt won the shot put (44-10.25) and placed second in the discus (134-3). 

Canistota’s Jaden Kleinsasser won the discus (148-3) and placed second in the shot put (43-11.25).
