Sioux Falls Roosevelt 72, Harrisburg 62

SIOUX FALLS — Four players scored in double figures to power Class AA No. 2 Sioux Falls Roosevelt to a boys basketball win over Class AA No. 3 Harrisburg on Tuesday.

Roosevelt’s CJ Schmaus tossed in 18 points and Justin Bilal had 16 points. Memphis Bylander scored 11 points and Deondre Painter totaled 10 points.

For Harrisburg, Stellen Larson scored 22 points and Crayton Jibben had 20 points.


Deubrook Area 44, Tri-Valley 40

WHITE — Chance Schoenfeld’s 19-point performance lifted Class B No. 9 Deubrook Area over Tri-Valley in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Schoenfeld led the Dolphins with 19 points, Isaac Gass added nine points while Braxton Bednarek totaled seven points in the win.

For TV, Brady Jewett had 17 points while Kobe Krome, Mason Hemme and Dante Nehman each recorded six points in the loss.


Winner 67, Lyman 55

WINNER — Three players scored in double figures to power Winner to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Winner’s Carter Craven finished with 19 points and three rebounds. Cooper Craven had 15 points and four rebounds. Jalen Tideman added 14 points and seven rebounds. William Jorgensen had nine points and four rebounds. Zac Olson scored eight points and had four assists. 

For Lyman, MJ Diehm finished with 21 points and six rebounds. Dawsen Volmer had 14 points and four rebounds. Josiah Vaad totaled 10 points.


Wagner 68, Miller 60

WAGNER — Wagner outlasted Miller for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Wagner’s Jesse Zephier scored 26 points and Carlos Galindo totaled 20 points. Ky Arpan had 11 points and Michael Koupal had seven points.

For Miller, Isaak Hunter finished with 28 points and Will Resel had 15 points. Derek Brueggeman totaled 14 points.


Platte-Geddes 64, Burke 56

PLATTE — Isaac Leader’s double-double powered Platte-Geddes to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Leader finished with 28 points and 16 rebounds. Jameson Leader recorded 13 points, 12 rebounds, five steals and three assists. Ziggy Duffy had 14 points and three assists. Jye Dailey had five points and nine rebounds. Landen Wright added six rebounds and four points.

For Burke, Brody Indahl finished with 24 points and Masen Hausmann added 11 points. Bryson Indahl scored 10 points. 


Howard 51, Hanson 46

ALEXANDRIA — Three players scored in double figures to lift Howard over Hanson in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Brody Spader led the Tigers with 14 points, Owen Feldhaus added 13 points while Chas Schumaker collected 10 points in the win.

For Hanson, Nate Wilber led with 17 points and three rebounds, Cole Dewald and Conner Endorf each had eight points while Radek Jarding totaled six points in the loss.


North Central 50, Ipswich 41

ROSCOE — A balanced scoring attack paced North Central to a boys basketball victory over Ipswich Tuesday.

Donovan Nelson led the Thunder with 12 points, Seth Hettick added 11 points, Reuben blanco recorded nine points while Isaiah Heilman and Jared Wherry each had six points in the win.

For Ipswich, Shay Knust tallied 17 points while Hayden Schlosser added 13 points in the loss.


Castlewood 56, Dell Rapids St. Mary’s 28

CASTLEWOOD — Will Aderhold and Kamden Keszler powered Castlewood B No. 3 to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Aderhold finished with 14 points and Keszler scored 12 points. Tyson Manley had nine points, while Leonard Wernke totaled seven points. Brody Bass had eight boards and three points.

For St. Mary’s, Trimmier Hanson scored seven points. 

 

Elkton-Lake Benton 64, Canton 58

ELKTON — Eliot Erickson and Myles Poindexter powered Elkton-Lake Benton to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Erickson and Poindexter scored 16 points apiece. Joseph Nibbe added nine points, while Ethan Wiskur scored six points. Colt Beck had five points.

For Canton, Noah Betty finished with 14 points and three 3-pointers. Alex Rhead scored 13 points. Teo Meister scored 10 points, Ryder Thompson had nine points and Espn Anderson scored eight points.


McCook Central/Montrose 60, Colman-Egan 47

SALEM — Four players scored in double figures to pace McCook Central/Montrose to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

MCM’s Ben Wiebersick had 16 points, four rebounds and five steals. Dawson Dorr added 12 points and eight rebounds. Zane McCormick totaled 11 points and six rebounds. Owen Schmidt had 10 points, six rebounds and four steals. 

For CE, Caden Zwart had 23 points and seven rebounds. Julien Allen had 13 points and six rebounds. Westyn Pearson totaled six points and four rebounds. Logan Claflin scored five points.


Sioux Valley 75, Chester 44

VOLGA — A balanced scoring attack powered Sioux Valley over Chester in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Carter Sapp led the Cossacks with 12 points, Holdyn Ruesink added 10 points, Brady Hiltunen, McCade Nelson, Carson Wosje, Bret Milton and Cooper Teske all finished with seven points while Connor Relf added six points in the win.

For Chester, Zach Moyer led with 21 points, Carter Vogel added nine points while Parker Dingman collected six points in the loss.


Waubay-Summit 40, Milbank 38

SUMMIT — Jace Wohlleber’s 20 point game helped Waubay-Summit clip Milbank in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Wohlleber led the Mustangs with 20 points in the win while Hogan Hlavacek added 11 points.

For Milbank, Sam Rick tallied 12 points, Jeter Scoular added 11 points while Ryan Keeton collected seven points in the loss.


Corsica-Stickney 70, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 56

CORSICA — Peyton Denning’s 22-point double-double guided Corsica-Stickney to a boys basketball win over Andes Central/Dakota Christian Tuesday.

Denning finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds, Brooks Blom added 15 points, Jett Kemp totaled 12 points, 10 rebounds and five assists while Aiden Clites brought down 10 boards in the win.

For ACDC, Samuel Rouse tallied 21 points, Jamian Medicine Horn added 12 points while Isaiah Milk recorded 11 points in the loss.


Estelline-Hendricks 64, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 27

ESTELLINE — Four players scored in double figures as Estelline-Hendricks knocked off Oldham-Ramona/Rutland in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Cade Hexem led the Redhawks with 13 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals, Kameron Hauck added 12 points, seven steals and three assists, Kyler Carlson and Drayden Cokens each posted 12 points while Larkin Schultz added nine points and four steals in the win.

ORR’s stats were not reported.


Flandreau 50, Deuel 34 

FLANDREAU — Luke Sheppard and Xavier Bien combined for 32 points to power Flandreau to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Sheppard totaled 22 points, five rebounds and five steals. Bien added 10 points. Kody Kneebone had eight points and 10 boards. 

For Deuel, Jaxtin Winter had 11 points and Sutton Benck scored eight points.


Freeman 77, Centerville 42

FREEMAN — Three players scored in double figures to push Class B No. 7 Freeman over Centerville in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Luke Peters led with 16 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals, Tayden Kerrigan added 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists, David Walter tallied 13 points and five rebounds while Luke Miller and Tate Sorensen each had seven points, with Miller bringing down 10 rebounds as well.

For Centerville, Ethan Bobzin led with 13 points in the loss.
