Sully Buttes 69, Stanley County 63 

FORT PIERRE — Class B No. 9 Sully Buttes outlasted Class A No. 10 Stanley County for a Tuesday boys basketball win. 

Sully Buttes’ Wesley Wittler tossed in a game-high 27 points. Jett Yackley had 17 points and Gavin Colson scored 15 points. Easton Moore totaled eight points for Sully Buttes.

Stanley County’s Eddie Duffy scored 22 points. Paxton Deal added 15 points and Teegyn Breitag scored 14 points and Trevor Caldwell added eight points.


Pine Ridge 70, Mahpiya Luta 56

PINE RIDGE — Marvin Richard III and Donnie Ghostdog powered Pine Ridge to a boys basketball win over Class A No. 5 Mahpiya Luta on Tuesday.

Richard III tossed in a game-high 30 points. Ghostdog scored 21 points on seven 3-pointers. 

For Mahpiya Luta, Braylon Little scored 19 points and Memphis Brewer scored nine points. Riley Brave added six points. 


Flandreau 69, Garretson 65 (2OT) 

FLANDREAU — Three players scored in double figures as Flandreau outlasted Garretson in a double overtime boys basketball game on Tuesday.

Luke Sheppard finished with 26 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots. Xavier Bien totaled 18 points, while Alexavier Poitra had 12 points and seven rebounds.

For Garretson, Colton Buchholz finished with 22 points and Carter Siemonsma scored 16 points. 


St. Thomas More 61, Spearfish 38

RAPID CITY — Class A No. 7 St. Thomas More handed Class AA No. 3 Spearfish its first boys basketball loss of the season on Tuesday.

STM’s Ashton Paulsen tossed in 29 points and hit three 3-pointers. Wyatt Gylten added 14 points. Max Speed and Broeden Sales scored six points apiece.

For Spearfish, Bennett Kortan and Kade Vavruska scored nine points apiece. Kamryn Davis scored seven points and Mason Southern had five points.


Arlington 69, Florence-Henry 61

ARLINGTON — Arlington clipped Florence-Henry for its first win of the season in boys basketball action Thursday.

Paxton Rheault led the Cardinals with 20 points, Trysten Huntimer added 13 points, Miles Antonen recorded 10 points while Maddox Jacobsen recorded nine points in the win.

For FH, Carson Kelly led with 31 points, Karson Rossow added 15 points while Dawson Hlavacek netted eight points in the loss.


Freeman 61, Howard 43

FREEMAN — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 4 Freeman to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Freeman’s David Walter recorded 17 points and five boards. Luke Miller and Tate Sorensen scored 11 points apiece. Sorensen added seven rebounds and five steals. Tayden Kerrigan had seven points, six assists and four rebounds. Luke Peters posted six points.


Wagner 41, Corsica-Stickney 34

CORSICA — Ky Arpan’s double-double pushed Wagner over Corsica-Stickney in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Arpan led the Red Raiders with 15 points and 14 rebounds in the win, Jesse Zephier had nine points, seven boards and three assists while Jakhi Tiger recorded nine points and two assists.

For CS, Jett Kemp had 12 points and nine rebounds while Max VandenHoek added 12 points in the loss.


Parkston 55, Elk Point-Jefferson 48

PARKSTON — Mason Jervik and Brycen Bruening powered Class B No. 8 Parkston to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Jervik finished with 22 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Bruening totaled 15 points. Grady Bowar had nine points and Reco Muilenburg scored five points. Sean Deckert added five rebounds.

For EPJ, Brody VanRoekel scored 22 points. Luke Schmitz added nine points. Aiden Hammitt had seven points. 


Castlewood 61, Colman-Egan 33

COLMAN — Four players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 3 Castlewood to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Castlewood’s Kamden Keszler totaled 17 points, while Brody Bass and Will Aderhold scored 14 points apiece. Tyson Manley had 10 points.

For CE, Caden Zwart totaled 17 points and Julian Allen had five points. 


Centerville 64, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 51

CENTERVILLE — Three players scored in double figures to pace Centerville to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Alec Austin finished with 23 points and eight boards. Ethan Bobzin totaled 14 points, while Corbin Tople had 11 points. Tucker Martz scored five points. Lane Ruter added four points and eight boards. 

For TDA, Jake Strand totaled 10 points, five rebounds and three assists. Grant Wunder and Ahston Koster had 10 points apiece. Daylin Kok scored seven points, while Alex Werkmeister had six points. Levi DeWaard totaled six boards. 


Leola-Frederick Area 47, Britton-Hecla 33

BRITTON — Leola-Frederick Area defeated Britton-Hecla in Tuesday boys basketball action.

LFA’s Westyn Thorpe finished with 14 points, while Milo Sumption recorded 12 points. Winston Clark scored nine points.

For BH, Mitch Burger scored nine points and Chaz Vietor had five points. 


Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 62, Hanson 35

ALEXANDRIA — Eli White and Sam Baruth paced Sanborn Central/Woonsocket to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

White and Baruth scored 13 points apiece. White added seven rebounds, three steals and three assists. Grant Edwards scored nine points and had five boards.

For Hanson, Jett Jager finished with nine points. Nate Wilber had seven points and Pierce Kayser totaled six points. Conner Endorf had five points. 


Ipswich 50, Wakpala 39

IPSWICH — Hayden Schlosser and Shay Knust powered Ipswich to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Schlosser recorded 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers. Knust added 12 points and four rebounds. Josh Rausch totaled nine points and five rebounds. Kyle Hettich added five points and five rebounds.

For Wakpala, Juanito Ducheneaux had 17 points and five 3-pointers. Lawrence Gooden had 12 points and 14 boards. Tavaughn Steele added eight points and four rebounds. 


North Central 55, South Border (N.D.) 40

ASHLEY, N.D. — North Central topped South Border (N.D.) for a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

NC’s Donovan Nelson finished with 15 points and Isaiah Heilman scored 12 points. Seth Hettick had nine points and Zane Haar scored eight points.
