MITCHELL — Marvin Richard III powered Pine Ridge to a boys basketball win over Class B No. 8 Freeman at Saturday’s Midwest Miracles Classic. 

Richard III finished with 43 points, seven assists, six 3-pointers and five steals. Christian Pulliam added 13 points. 

For Freeman, Tayden Kerrigan had 20 points and eight rebounds. David Walter totaled 16 points and nine rebounds. Luke Miller and Luke Peters scored eight points apiece. 

Ethan 66, Wall 39

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 6 Ethan to a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Midwest Miracles Classic. 

Ethan’s Marissa Storm finished with 23 points, five assists, five 3-pointers, three rebounds and three steals. Rachel Klock posted 21 points and 10 boards. Taziah Hawkins totaled 18 points, six assists, six rebounds and five 3-pointers. 

For Wall, Brittney Walker had 14 points and six rebounds. Karmyn Kjerstad had seven points and four rebounds. Emmy Moon had eight rebounds. Allie Kjerstad and Braylee Walker recorded five points apiece. 

Clark/Willow Lake 59, Vermillion 49

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 3 Clark/Willow Lake to a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Midwest Miracles Classic. 

CWL’s Sullivan Felberg finished with 20 points, five rebounds and four assists. Chris Bevers added 18 points and 15 boards. Emmerson Larson totaled 10 points. Bo Begeman had seven points and nine rebounds. 

For Vermillion, Trey Hansen recorded 27 points, seven rebounds, six steals and three assists. Luke Jensen added 18 points and five rebounds. Gabe Larsen totaled four points and six rebounds. 

Lyman 44, Corsica-Stickney 35

MITCHELL — Kenzie Wagner and Mak Scott powered Class B No. 3 Lyman to a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Midwest Miracles Classic.

Wagner finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Scott tallied 15 points and 12 boards. Bree Smart added seven points and six rebounds. Jordyn Scott totaled six points, six rebounds and four steals. 

For Corsica-Stickney, Braylee Bordewyk totaled 23 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals. Hadynn Johnson finished with 12 points and 17 rebounds. 

Lyman 65, Bridgewater-Emery 47

MITCHELL — Four players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 10 to a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Midwest Miracles Classic. 

M.J. Diehm finished with 16 points, seven assists and three steals. Dawsen Volmer added 13 points, three rebounds and three steals. Conway Collins and Canyon Garnos totaled 11 points apiece. Collins added five boards. Chase Seaboy had six points and four rebounds.

For BE, Holden Wollmann had 20 points, six rebounds and three 3-pointers. Ben Weber added 19 points and three rebounds. 

Centerville 47, Bridgewater-Emery 30

MITCHELL — Izzie Eide powered Class B No. 2 Centerville to a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Midwest Miracles Classic.

Eide finished with 24 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Lydia Austin posted eight points. Tessa Eide added six points and eight rebounds. 

For BE, Oakley Weber recorded eight points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals. Tenley Jatczak added six points and three rebounds. Macie Weber totaled five points. Lily Hilton had three points and five rebounds. 

McCook Central/Montrose Girls 68, Viborg-Hurley 20

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to power McCook Central/Montrose to a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Midwest Miracles Classic. 

MCM’s Ella DeKnikker finished with 19 points and three 3-pointers. Mandi Schock totaled 12 points and six rebounds. Mya Morrison added 10 points, four rebounds and four assists. Natalie Lueth and Cami McGuire posted six points apiece. Brooke Heumiller scored five points and grabbed four rebounds. 

For VH, Tatum Lyons recorded 13 points. 

Centerville 78, White River 40 

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to pace Centerville to a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Midwest Miracles Classic. 

Corbin Tople finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Alec Austin added 11 points and seven rebounds. Tucker Martz totaled 10 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Ethan Bobzin and Bo Eide scored eight points apiece. 

For White River, Zaysyn Whipple recorded 15 points. Kreg Stoddard added 11 points. Bryson One Star had four points, five rebounds and five assists. 

Viborg-Hurley 61, Wall 51

MITCHELL — Brady Schroedermeier powered Class B No. 3 Viborg-Hurley to a win over Class B No. 7 Wall at Saturday’s Midwest Miracles Classic. 

Schroedermeier finished with 27 points and 12 rebounds. Braydyn Morrison and Jake Austin scored nine points apiece. Nolan Kolthoff had seven points and four rebounds. 

For Wall, Teelan Kjerstad finished with 16 points. Trevor Schulz and Dawson Handcock totaled 10 points apiece. Emmet Dinger scored seven points, added five rebounds and five assists.
