Chamberlain 52, Mobridge-Pollock 50

CHAMBERLAIN — D.J. DeSloover’s buzzer-beater propelled Chamberlain to a boys basketball win over Mobridge-Pollock on Friday. 

Chamberlain’s Traevin Roubideaux finished with 12 points and Blaze Knippling added 10 points. Miles Thompson and Riddick Big Eagle scored nine points apiece. 

For Mobridge-Pollock, Kale Knudson scored 18 points. Shooter Frederick and Jesse Schneider scored nine points apiece. Easton Eisemann scored six points. 


Howard 51, Ethan 39

HOWARD — Brody Spader powered Howard to a boys basketball win over Ethan on Friday.

Spader netted 23 points and nailed seven of Howard’s 10 3-pointers. Owen Feldhaus scored 10 points. Garrett Feldhaus added six points and Caden Schwader scored five points.

For Ethan, Jack Bartscher scored 12 points. Davin Hohn had nine points, while Tuff Martin and Creighton Klumb scored seven points apiece. 


De Smet 63, Colman-Egan 27

COLMAN — Four players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 2 De Smet to a boys basketball win on Friday. 

Grant Wilkinson powered the Bulldogs with 19 points and 25 rebounds. Carter Wilkinson added 14 points and five boards. Slayten Wilkinson had 12 points, seven rebounds, three steals and three assists. Noah Luethmers added 10 points, four assists, three steals and three rebounds. Kolby Sinclair had five points. 

For CE, Caden Zwart recorded 20 points and six rebounds.


Baltic 75, Canton 58

BALTIC — Four players finished in double figures as Baltic surged past Canton for a boys basketball win Friday.

Kellen Artz led the Bulldogs with 19 points, Dylan Runestad and Cooper Garry each had 15 points, Trevor Cuperus tallied 11 points while Ben Erickson finished with nine points in the win.

For Canton, Noah Beatty had 12 points, Jase Charrlin added 11 points, Bennett Oakland netted nine points, while Alex Rhead and Espn Anderson each had eight points in the loss.


Freeman 75, Avon 57

AVON — Three players scored in double figures as Class B No. 4 Freeman rolled to a boys basketball victory over Avon Friday.

David Walter led the Flyers with 21 points, eight rebounds and two assists, Luke Peters collected 18 points and three steals, Luke Miller had 13 points and two assists, Tate Sorensen netted four points, six rebounds and six assists while Taylor Goodwin recorded seven points, four rebounds and four assists in the win.

For Avon, Zander Fathke had 18 points and four assists, Al’Shamon Gunter added 15 points, nine rebounds and four blocks while Dominic Doom recorded 18 points and eight rebounds in the loss.


Estelline-Henricks 96, Arlington 41

ARLINGTON — Four players scored in double figures to power Arlington to a boys basketball victory on Friday.

Arlington’s Kyler Carlson finished with 22 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Cade Hexem had 21 points, six 3-pointers, seven rebounds and four assists. Drayden Cokens finished with 20 points and four assists. August Dagel totaled 12 points and five boards. Kameron Hauck had eight points and Kade Hauck scored five points.

For Arlington, Paxton Rheault finished with 15 points and six rebounds. Miles Antonen totaled 14 points and nine rebounds. Jake Burns scored eight points. 


West Central 72, Flandreau 42

FLANDREAU — Three players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 1 West Central to a boys basketball win on Friday.

West Central’s Connor Mebius and Boche Knight scored 11 points apiece. Will Kuhl had 10 points.

For Flandreau, Xavier Bien scored 14 points. Kody Kneebone added 11 points and five boards.


McCook Central-Montrose 56, Canistota 25

CANISTOTA — Dawson Dorr and Andrew Sabers combined for 34 points as McCook Central-Montrose knocked off Canistota in boys basketball action Friday.

Dorr led the Fighting Cougars with 18 points and six rebounds, Sabers added 16 points, four assists and two steals, Zane McCormick had six points, seven rebounds and three assists while Ben Webersick netted five points, six rebounds, six steals and seven assists in the win.

For Canistota, Prayden Acheson had 11 points and five rebounds while Miles Heinzmann netted five points in the loss.


Clark/Willow Lake 84, Redfield 28 

REDFIELD — Three players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 3 Clark/Willow Lake to a boys basketball win on Friday.

CWL’s Chris Bevers finished with 19 points and six boards. Larson scored 15 points, while Sullivan Felberg recorded 10 points. Bo Begeman and Joey Ries scored eight points apiece. William Hovde and Miles Olson scored six and five points, respectively. 

For Redfield, Eloi Carnicero scored 11 points and Grady Hulscher added six points. 


North Central 49, Strasburg-Zeeland (N.D.) 20

EUREKA — North Central cruised past Strasburg-Zeeland (N.D.) for a boys basketball win on Friday.

NC’s Kobe Wherry finished with 10 points and Donovan Nelson added seven points. Isaiah Heilman scored six points. Seth Hettick, Jared Wherry and Aiden Goings scored five points apiece.
