Timber Lake 52, North Central 50

TIMBER LAKE — Treyden Beer’s buzzer-beater lifted Timber Lake to a boys basketball win over North Central on Saturday.

Kanton Hunt totaled 15 points and five boards. Braden Lawrence added 13 points. Broc Bauer scored 11 points. Beer had six points and Pete Maher added five points.

For NC, Kobe Wherry totaled 18 points and Donovan Nelson added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Isaiah Heilman scored seven points and Seth Hettick added five points.


Viborg-Hurley 58, Marty 47

IRENE — Three players scored in double figures as Class B No. 1 Viborg-Hurley held off Marty for a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Blizzard Buster Classic. 

VH’s Brady Schroedermeier recorded 22 points and Braydyn Morrison added 16 points. Jake Austin scored 12 points.

For Marty, Tyson Cournoyer totaled 18 points and Steven Peters III scored 12 points. 


West Central 69, Hamlin 48

MADISON — Connor Mebius and Will Kuhl powered Class A No. 1 West Central to a boys basketball win over Class A No. 4 Hamlin at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash. 

Mebius totaled 29 points and Kuhl added 17 points.

For Hamlin, Jackson Wadsworth recorded 21 points and Jack Stormo scored eight points. 


Sioux Falls Christian 72, Clark/Willow Lake 61

MADISON — Class A No. 2 Sioux Falls Christian defeated Class A No. 4 Clark/Willow Lake in boys basketball action at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash. 

Sioux Falls Christian’s Brant Wassenaar scored 22 points. Carson Nickles added 18 points. Canyon Prins totaled 17 points. Ryan Dieleman had nine points and eight rebounds. 

CWL’s Chris Bevers finished with 17 points and six boards. Bo Begeman added 12 points and five rebounds. Emerson Larson had 11 points, while Sullivan Felberg added 10 points and six rebounds. 


Bennett County 79, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 67

IRENE — Four players scored in double figures to power Bennett County to a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Blizzard Buster Classic.

Bennett County’s Rush O’Neill finished with 27 points and Caysen Soderlin totaled 17 points. Lijah Broken Rope and Hayden Risse scored 12 points apiece. 

For ACDC, Jamian Medicine Horn scored 23 points. Edward Ulrich scored 13 points and Samuel Rouse added 12 points. 


Sioux Falls Lutheran 39, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 32

IRENE — Sioux Falls Lutheran outlasted Tripp-Delmont/Armour for a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Blizzard Buster Classic.

SFL’s Kade Matthies scored 11 points and Rowan Becker finished with 10 points. Owen Glister added seven points.

For TDA, Grant Wunder scored 13 points and Ashton Koster added 12 points. 


Platte-Geddes 46, Alcester-Hudson 43

PLATTE — Three players scored in double figures to power Platte-Geddes to a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Blizzard Buster Classic. 

PG’s Jameson Leader totaled 20 points and six rebounds. Isaac Leader added 13 points and 14 rebounds. Ziggy Duffy added 10 points. Jye Dailey totaled six rebounds, four assists and three points. 

For AH, Jacob Cole scored 15 points and Tom Walth had nine points. Evan Haak scored seven points. 

 

Dell Rapids 72, Mobridge-Pollock 62

MADISON — Dell Rapids held off Mobridge-Pollock for a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash. 

Dell Rapids’ Lincoln Anderson scored 29 points.

Mobridge-Pollock stats were not reported. 


Tri-Valley 58, Milbank 50 

MADISON — Brady Jewett powered Tri-Valley to a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash. 

Jewett finished with a game-high 27 points, grabbed four rebounds and hit three 3-pointers. Ty Oyen totaled six points and 11 boards. Mason Hemme had nine points and three rebounds. Kobe Krome had eight points and Tristen Bunde scored six points.

For Milbank, Lincoln Holscher finished with 15 points and nine rebounds. Sam Rick had 12 points and hit three 3-pointers. Jack Howard totaled eight points and eight rebounds. 


Rapid City Christian 49, Madison 47

MADISON — Rapid City Christian outlasted Madison for a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash. 

RCC’s Peyton Glenn recorded 13 points and eight boards. Joaquin Petrik totaled 11 points. Sully Kieffer added eight points and four rebounds. Lars Kieffer recorded seven points. Henry Koppmann added 10 rebounds. 

For Madison, Shane Veenhof totaled 17 points and five boards. Nolan Nielsen had 10 points and 10 boards. Henry Veenhof had eight points and seven rebounds. 


Vermillion 71, Groton Area 50

MADISON — Trey Hansen and Luke Jensen powered Class A No. 9 Vermillion to a boys basketball win over Class A No. 8 Groton Area at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash. 

Hansen finished with 28 points and Jensen added 14 points.

For Groton Area, Karson Zak had 25 points. Gage Sippel added 10 points and 12 rebounds. 


Redfield 82, Canton 64

MADISON — Three players scored in double figures to power Redfield to a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash. 

Redfield’s Eloi Carnicero finished with 27 points, seven assists, five steals and three boards. Grady Hulscher added 19 points, four assists, three rebounds and three 3-pointers. Micah Zastrow totaled 10 points and six boards. Jackson Rude scored eight points and Isaac Banister added seven points. Austin Snell scored five points.

For Canton, Alex Rhead totaled 21 points, five assists, five rebounds and three 3-pointers. Noah Beatty finished with 12 points, five assists and six boards. Jase Charrlin recorded nine points, while Espn Anderson had eight points and six rebounds. Bennett Oakland scored six points. Ryder Thompson had five rebounds and four points. 


Dakota Valley 60, Sisseton 50

MADISON — Tatum Sorensen powered Dakota Valley to a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash. 

Sorensen finished with a game-high 30 points. 

For Sisseton, Derrick Flute recorded 23 points and Carter Stickland scored 13 points. Brett Hansen added six points. 


Deuel 58, Elk Point-Jefferson 48

MADISON — Three players scored in double figures to pace Deuel to a boys basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash. 

Deuel’s Braxtin Winter scored 15 points and Troy Jenson added 14 points. Kyle Finnesand totaled 11 points. Sutton Benck and Nolan Gubrud scored nine points apiece.

For EPJ, Aiden Hammitt had 14 points and Luke Schmitz totaled 12 points. Eli Connors grabbed 11 boards. 


Lennox 66, Britton-Hecla 18

MADISON — Class A No. 6 Lennox rolled past Britton-Hecla for a boys basketball win at Saturday’s  Dak-XII/NEC Clash. 

Lennox’s Aiden Hanssen finished with 15 points and Cole Spieler scored 12 points.

For BH, William Richter scored seven points. 

 

Northwestern 61, Aberdeen Roncalli 54

ABERDEEN — Four players scored in double figures to power Northwestern to a boys basketball win on Saturday.

NW’s Talon Miller finished with 18 points and four rebounds. Ty Boekelheide had 15 points and seven rebounds. William Clemens added 14 points and 10 rebounds. 

For Roncalli, Jesse Hernandez had 12 points and seven rebounds. Bryson Olson added 10 points and six boards. Austin Fischer, Quinton Shelton and Sam Larson scored eight points apiece. 

 

Ipswich 49, Highmore-Harrold 21

IPSWICH — Three players scored in double figures to power Ipswich to a boys basketball win on Saturday.

Ipswich’ Jaxon Holt finished with 15 points on five 3-pointers. Hayden Schlosser added 14 points, six rebounds, four 3-pointers and three 3-pointers. Shay Knust totaled 10 points and five assists. Tate Hogie had five points and four rebounds. 

For HH, Jayden Erfman finished with nine points. Brooks McPeak totaled seven points and five boards. Jordan Erfman had four points and 10 boards. 

 

Leola/Frederick Area 65, South Border (N.D.) 30

LEOLA — Leola/Frederick coasted past South Border (N.D.) for a boys basketball win on Saturday.

LFA’s Milo Sumption finished with nine points. Winston Clark scored eight points, while Westyn Thorpe and Jace Thorpe scored seven points apiece. Zander Hoffman and Lucas Gulbranson scored six points apiece. 

 

Western Christian (Iowa) 70, Parker-Marion 28

IRENE — Parker-Marion dropped a boys basketball game at Saturday’s Blizzard Buster Classic. 

PM’s Tanner Peterson finished with 10 points and Landon Wieman scored six points. 

 

Rock Valley (Iowa) 68, Irene-Wakonda 41

IRENE — Irene-Wakonda dropped a boys basketball game at Saturday’s Blizzard Buster Classic.
