Wessington Springs 66, Ethan 55

ETHAN — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 6 Wessington Springs to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Parker Graff tossed in a game-high 21 points, while Colby Flowers added 19 points. Grady Gran scored 11 points and Wesley Molnar added nine points. 

For Ethan, Tuff Martin scored 15 points and Davin Hohn added 11 points. Jaxx Kurtenbach and Creighton Klumb scored nine points apiece. Mark Deckert added seven points.


Colman-Egan 50, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 41

RUTLAND — Caden Zwart and Julian Allen combined for 36 points in Colman-Egan’s boys basketball victory over Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Friday.

Zwart led with a game-high 22 points while Allen had 14 points for the Hawks. Rowdy Bowen added seven points in the win as well.

For ORR, Boyd Pooler led with 15 points, Brodie Albertson tallied nine points, Roman Malisch recorded seven points while Brennon Bickett and Drayton Olson each had five points in the loss.


Little Wound 72, Dupree 65

DUPREE — Little Wound outlasted Dupree for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Little Wound’s Riley Casey tossed in a team-high 24 points. Memphis Tallman finished with 10 points and Dylan Ferguson added nine points. Isnala Neiji White Bull had eight points. Journey Red Bear and Johnny Rodriguez scored five points apiece. 

For Dupree, Dayson Kennedy scored a game-high 28 points and Jayden Marshall added 19 points. Ricco Swallow scored 11 points and Spencer Olsen added six points. 

 

Bridgewater-Emery 64, James Valley Christian 34

EMERY — Holden Wollmann and Ben Weber powered Bridgewater-Emery to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Wollmann finished with 28 points and four steals. Weber totaled 16 points, 10 boards, eight assists and four blocked shots. 

For JVC, Noah Fast scored 15 points and Kyler Boomsma had six rebounds.


De Smet 73, Arlington 37

DE SMET — Four players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 2 De Smet to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Grant Wilkinson totaled 24 points, 14 rebounds and three blocked shots for the Bulldogs. Noah Luethmers added 17 points, eight rebounds and six steals. Carter Wilkinson had 13 points, six rebounds and three 3-pointers. Slayten Wilkinson had 11 points, six rebounds and six assists. Kolby Sinclair scored six points.

For Arlington, Paxton Rheault and Miles Antonen scored 13 points apiece. Antonen added six rebounds. Jake Burns had five points and seven rebounds. 


Centerville 61, Burke 26

CENTERVILLE — Centerville coasted past Burke for a boys basketball win on Friday.

Centerville’s Corbin Tople finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Ethan Bobzin added 16 points and eight boards. Alec Austin had six points and 12 boards. Tucker Martz scored nine points. Lane Ruter had six points and Logan Ruter dished out five assists.

For Burke, Brody Indahl had 10 points and Masen Hausmann scored eight points. Cash Hemming scored seven points. 


McCook Central/Montrose 67, Beresford 37

SALEM — Ben Wiebersick and Andrew Sabers powered McCook Central/Montrose to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Wiebersick totaled 19 points, six assists, five rebounds and four 3-pointers. Sabers added 16 points and three steals. Owen Schmidt and Lane Hanisch scored nine points apiece. Dawson Dorr added eight points, five rebounds and four assists. Zane McCormick had six points and seven rebounds.

For Beresford, Tiegen Nyhaug finished with 15 points. Trey Kurtenbach scored seven points. Hayden Schilling scored five points. 


Mitchell 69, Yankton 53

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to power Mitchell to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Mitchell’s Colton Smith finished with 23 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Owen Raml posted 21 points, five rebounds, five steals and four assists. Collin Weier added 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

For Yankton, Owen Eidsness scored 16 points and added three assists. Jackson Kudera totaled 14 points and three rebounds. Grady Walder had 13 points.
