St. Thomas More 45, Belle Fourche 38

BELLE FOURCHE — Three players scored in double figures as St. Thomas More pulled away from Belle Fourche for a Tuesday girls basketball win.

STM’s Riley Gylten finished with 14 points, while Sloane Keszler had 11 points and three 3-pointers. Brynn Donnelly added 10 points. 

Belle Fourche’s Lily Nore finished with a game-high 19 points. Reagan Hatling added 13 points. 


Ethan 47, Wagner 43

ETHAN — Class B No. 4 Ethan outlasted Class A No. 3 Wagner in Tuesday high school girls basketball action. 

Ethan’s Ella Pollreisz finished with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Taziah Hawkins added 14 points. Marissa Storm scored eight points and four steals. Rachel Klock logged eight rebounds and four points. Sadie Mueller had six rebounds and four points. 

Wagner’s Ashlyn Koupal tallied 19 points, nine rebounds, five blocks and four steals. Lydia Yost added 15 points. Ravyn Medricky posted 10 rebounds, four assists and four points. 


Flandreau 39, Castlewood 34

CASTLEWOOD — Sadie Iott and Morgan Sheppard powered Flandreau past Castlewood in girls basketball action on Tuesday.

Iott finished with 16 points and eight rebounds. Iott added 13 points, while Hannah Krull had five points.

For Castlewood, Kendra Nielsen finished with nine points. Claire Horn added seven points and four rebounds. Cassidy Kirwan had six points, while Natalie Akin five points, four rebounds and four assists. 


Rapid City Christian 45, Hill City 30

HILL CITY — Rapid City Christian topped Hill City in girls basketball action on Tuesday.

RC Christian’s Sadie Marshall finished with 11 points, while Lydia Williams added eight points. Brynn Casey had seven points and Abby Thomson scored six points. 

Hill City stats were not reported. 


Arlington 51, Madison 19 

ARLINGTON — Jaelyn Huntimer powered Arlington a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Huntimer finished with a game-high 30 points, grabbed six boards and hit three 3-pointers. Ellisyn Vincent had seven points and six boards. 

For Madison, Lindsey King and Jaya Engles scored five points apiece. Taneaja John had seven rebounds. 


Lyman 71, Lower Brule 10

PRESHO — Four players scored in double figures as Class B No. 3 Lyman ran past Lower Brule in girls basketball action on Tuesday. 

Makaylee Scott led the Raiders with 22 points and nine rebounds. Brooke Palmer posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Jordyn Scott posted 14 points, four rebounds, six assists and 10 steals and Bree Smart added 12 points and six rebounds. 

Stats for Lower Brule were not reported. 


Potter County 40, North Central 35

EUREKA — Potter County held on to pick up a road win over North Central in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Alyssa Kaup led the Battlers with 12 points. Peyton Stevens and Emma Schlachter each scored six points and Ava Hatung canned a 3-pointer to chip in three points for the night. 

Amree VanderVorst paced North Central with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Ella Battie also posted  a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. 


Harding County 56, Hettinger/Scranton, ND 45

BUFFALO — Three players reached double-figures as Harding County improved to 5-0 on the season with a win over Hettinger/Scranton, North Dakota in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Macey Wendt paced the Ranchers with 14 points, six rebounds, four assists and seven steals

Bailey Verhulst added 10 points, five rebounds, six assists and four steals. Kelsi Costello finished with 10 points and Kamry Padden posted nine points for Harding County.

Stats for Hettinger/Scranton were not reported. 


Tri-Valley 50, Elkton-Lake Benton 14

ELKTON — A balanced scoring attack helped Tri-Valley earn a win over Elkton-Lake Benton in girls basketball action Tuesday. 

Maddie Wenzel led the Mustangs with 10 points as 10 different players scored. Izzy Davey finished with nine points while Emry Jones pumped in eight points Tuesday. Kadence Davey scored seven points and Mattie Huwe finished with four points. 

Charlie Thooft led Elkton-Lake Benton with six points. 


Parkston 53, Hanson 27

ALEXANDRIA — Three players scored in double figures as Class B No. 2 Parkston defeated Hanson in girls basketball action on Tuesday.

Parkston’s Morgan Maxwell finished with 14 points and hit four 3-pointers. Lauren Ziebart had 12 points and three 3-pointers. Berkley Ziebart had 11 points. Keeara Oakley logged eight points, while Mya Thuringer scored seven points. Oakley added nine rebounds. 

For Hanson, Kylie Haiar finished with 14 points and six rebounds. Paige Kayser logged seven points, while Kendra Endorf had six points. 


Sioux Valley 52, Deubrook Area 48

WHITE — Sioux Valley outlasted Deubrook Area for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Sioux Valley’s Amari Ward recorded 14 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals. Talya Vincent finished with 11 points and hit three 3-pointers. Keyra Kruse added nine points. Liberty Trygstad had eight points. Masey Top posted six points. Kailey Cradduck had 10 rebounds, four points and four steals. 

For Deubrook Area, Kylee Johnson and Mataya Gouws finished with 11 points apiece. Gouws added seven boards. Matte Bauman scored eight points. Zoey Molengraaf had seven points and five boards.  


Kimball/White Lake 33, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 25

KIMBALL — Summer Skluzak and Rylee McCord combined for 25 points to pace Kimball/White Lake to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Skluzak finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds. McCord added 10 points. Kyza Johnson and Lindy Kiehn had eight rebounds apiece. 

For TDA, Kinley Spaans and Belle Hotchkiss posted eight points apiece. Mia Reiner had six points and six rebounds. 


Dell Rapids 55, McCook Central/Montrose 38

SALEM — Dell Rapids pulled away from McCook Central/Montrose for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Rorie Thoreson finished with 15 points, while Elly Olson had 12 points. Olson added nine rebounds. Josie Price and Elin Schoenhard scored eight points apiece. Jersi Schultz had four points and eight boards.

For MCM, Mya Morrison finished with 18 points and seven boards. Ella DeKnikker added nine points. 


Dakota Valley 64, Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Iowa) 52

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Dakota Valley held off Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Iowa) for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

DV’s Cameryn Sommervold finished with 18 points and nine rebounds. Bella Stokes added 16 points. Emersen Mead added 10 rebounds.
