RAPID CITY — The Jones County girls and Hill City boys won team titles at Monday’s Region 6B golf meet at Hart Ranch Golf Club. 

The Hill City boys shot a 263, edging out Wall (264) and Philip (264) for the team title. The Rangers, Eagles and Scotties all qualified for the state golf meet, which is June 3-4 in Brookings. 

The Jones County girls shot a 292, finishing ahead of Philip (298). The Coyotes and Scotties both qualify for the state golf meet. 

Individually, McIntosh’s Wyatt Larson (73) was the individual medalist. He shot a 35 on the front nine and a 38 on the back nine. Larson’s round was highlighted by an eagle on No. 10, a 498-yard par 5 hole. 

Philip’s Masique Carley (79) and White River’s Bryson One Star (83) placed second and third, respectively. Hill City’s Leo Daiss (84) and Wall’s Trevor Schulz (84) tied for fourth place.

Jones County’s Kamri Kittleson was the girls individual medalist. She shot a 40 on the front nine and a 45 on the back nine. 

Philip’s Taylor O’Connell (88) and Addy Miller (97) placed second and third, respectively. Jones County’s Tayah Anderson (99) and Bennett County’s Sophia May (105) rounded out the top-five golfers.
