SCOTLAND — Winner’s Joseph Laprath and Chamberlain’s Kinsey Evans captured individual titles at Tuesday’s Scotland Invitational at Dawson Creek Golf Course. 

Laprath covered the 5,000-meter race in 17:03.96, finishing ahead of Mitchell’s Hunter Patton (17:33.44) and Gregory’s Finn Adams (18:15.42). Mitchell’s Elijah Schroeder (18:46.25) and Floyd Korzan (18:51.06) rounded out the top-five runners.

Evans won the 5,000-meter race in 19:12.52. Kimball/White Lake’s Autumn Baker (19:59.93) and Chamberlain’s Grace Phillips (20:28.18) placed second and third, respectively. KWL’s Lily Baker (20:59.75) and Alli McCord (21:12.21) rounded out the top-five finishers. 

In the girls team race, Chamberlain and Kimball/White Lake tied for first with 11 points. Gregory (37) and Burke (39) finished third and fourth, respectively. 

On the boys side, Mitchell placed three runners in the top five and finished with eight points, earning the team title. Chamberlain (15), Gregory (25) and Platte-Geddes (28) rounded out the top-four teams.
