Elkton 20, Baltic Post 175 17

BALTIC — Elkton outlasted Baltic Post 175 for a Legion baseball win on Sunday.

Elkton totaled 17 hits, with Aidan Stewart, Aiden Erickson, and Ryan Krog leading with three hits apiece. Stewart had five RBI, while Erickson and Logan Kuehl tallied three RBI each. Austin Johnson and Sam Nibbe each added two hits. Kuehl and Krog each had one home run.

Johnson took the win on the hill for Elkton, allowing six runs on three hits and striking out two in 1 ⅓ innings.

Riley Dobbins took the loss for Baltic Post 175, allowing nine hits and eight runs in 3 ⅔ innings, while striking out six.

Baltic Post 175 tallied nine hits as Colbe Scott and Hunter Larson led with three hits each. Jose Valadez and Beau Keith each had two hits. Larson and Keith each had three RBI, while Scott and Valadez each added two RBI.


Clark/Willow Lake Senators 7, Post 911 Chargers 6

CLARK — The Clark/Willow Lake Senators scored five runs in the sixth inning to edge the Post 911 Chargers in a Legion baseball game on Sunday.

Conner Mudgett led the Senators to the win, allowing zero hits and three runs in ⅔ of an inning.

The Senators tallied 11 hits, with Mudgett leading with three hits and two RBI. Tyson Huber, Trey Huber, and Hudson Fuller each had two hits and one RBI.

Harris Adamson took the loss for the Post 911 Chargers, pitching 5 ⅓ innings and allowing ten hits and seven runs, while striking out five.

Adamson and Tim DeSautel each tallied two hits to lead the Post 911 Chargers. Will Harmelink had two RBI.


Winner/Colome 16, Stanley County 3

FORT PIERRE — Aiden Barfuss’ big day helped Winner/Colome race past Stanley County for a Legion baseball win on Sunday.

Barfuss finished with four hits and six RBI to lead Winner/Colome, while Charley Pravacek, Joey Cole, and Karson Keiser each added two hits. Cole and Ethan Bartels each added two RBI.

Bartels led Winner/Colome on the hill, pitching 5 ⅔ innings and allowing two hits and one run, while striking out nine.

Tate Nesladek led Stanley County with two hits in three at bats and one RBI.

Daysen Titze led Stanley County on the mound, giving up nine runs on eight hits in four innings, while striking out one.


Gregory County 8, Milbank 1

CLARK — Gregory County pulled away from Milbank for a Legion baseball win on Sunday.

Brogan Glover led Gregory County to the victory, pitching two innings and allowing one run on zero hits, while striking out one and walking one.

Bryce Frank led Gregory County with two hits, while Ben Witt, Carson Klundt, and Kade Braun each had two RBI.

Mike Karges took the loss for Milbank, allowing three runs on three hits in one inning. Karges also led Milbank with one RBI.


Lake Norden 10, Redfield Post 92 8

REDFIELD — Lake Norden scored one run apiece in the sixth and seventh innings to break an 8-8 tie and outlast Redfield Post 92 in a Legion baseball game on Sunday.

Jackson Noem took the win for Lake Norden, allowing nine hits and eight runs in seven innings, while striking out ten and walking one.

Lake Norden totaled 14 hits, with Noem tallying four hits and three RBI. Carson Stormo, Gerald Picado, Cameron Thue, and Luke Steffensen each recorded two hits. Thue had two RBI, while Steffensen and Stormo each had one RBI.

Erik Salmen took the loss for Redfield Post 92, allowing five hits and two runs in five innings, while striking out six. Owen Osborn started the game for Post 92, allowing eight runs on eight hits, while striking out one and walking one in 1 ⅔ innings.

Salmen and Osborn also led Post 92 with two hits apiece. Salmen had four RBI and Osborn added two RBI.


Garretson 15, Menno/Scotland Post 152 0

MENNO — Garretson earned a shutout win over Menno/Scotland Post 152 in a Legion baseball game on Sunday.

Dylan Kindt gave up zero runs on four hits in five innings, while striking out eight to lead Garretson on the hill.

Garretson racked up nine hits, with Treyton Chester tallying three hits and one RBI. Cole Koch and Ryan Flanagan each had two hits.

Treyton Sayler took the loss for Menno/Scotland, allowing 11 runs on six hits and striking out four in four innings.

Tyrus Bietz, Austin Pillsbury, Jacob Schott, and Karson Bierle each had one hit to lead Menno/Scotland.


Hankinson/Lidgerwood (N.D.) 6, Faulkton/Highmore Hitmen 2

CLARK — The Faulkton/Highmore Hitmen dropped a Legion baseball game against Hankinson/Lidgerwood (N.D.) on Sunday.

Simon Bowar led Faulkton/Highmore on the mound, allowing four runs on four hits, while striking out four and walking one in four innings.

Bowar and Layne Cotton led Faulkton/Highmore with one hit apiece, while Bennett Cassens drove in one run.


Post 74 Bandits 12, Lino Lakes Cougars (Minn.)  3

ANOKA, Minn. — The Post 74 Bandits pulled away from the Lino Lakes Cougars (Minn.) for a Legion baseball win at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Payton Theodosopoulos picked up the win for the Post 74 Bandits, giving up two runs on zero hits in four innings, while striking out four. Austin Clark started the game for the Post 74 Bandits, allowing one run on three hits, while striking out one and walking one in two innings.

Parker Winghart led the Post 74 Bandits with three hits, while Nathan Lease and Trey Svennes each had two hits. Winghart, Lease, Clark, and Ashton Witte each drove in two runs. 


Hickman Post 105 (Neb.) 4, Renner Royals Post 307 3

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Hickman Post 105 held off Renner Royals Post 307 in a Legion baseball game at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Trey Heckenlaible took the loss for the Renner Royals, allowing five hits and four runs in seven innings, while striking out seven and walking one.

Keegan Wenande, Emanuel Struck, Kyle Konechne, and Carter Peterson each had one hit for the Renner Royals. Peterson, Preston Konechne, and Quinn Dunham each drove in one run. 


Eden Prairie (Minn.) 6, Renner Royals Post 307 5

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Renner Royals Post 307 dropped a Legion baseball game against Eden Prairie at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Joe Jacobson took the loss for the Renner Royals, giving up one run on three hits in ⅔ of an inning. Mav Jarding started the game for the Renner Royals, allowing five runs on nine hits with two strikeouts in 5 ⅓ innings.

Garret Hoffman and Trey Heckenlaible each had two hits to lead the Royals.


Rapid City Post 315 7, Wayzata Post 118 (Minn.) 6

VICTORIA, Minn. — Brady Bickett’s walk-off lifted Rapid City Post 315 to a Legion baseball win over Wayzata Post 118 at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Kade Walker led Post 315 on the mound, allowing four hits and zero runs, while striking out three in three innings. 

Walker also led Post 315 with two hits in four at bats and one RBI, while Dawson Buckley had two RBI.


Shakopee Post 2 (Minn.) 14, Brandon Valley Post 131 6

MANKATO, Minn. — Brandon Valley Post 131 dropped a Legion baseball game against Shakopee Post 2 at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Tate Ivers led Brandon Valley Post 131 on the mound, allowing five hits and five runs in 2 ⅔ innings, while striking out one and walking one.

Cole Frisbie, Ty Peyton, and Evan Eberspacher each had two hits to lead Brandon Valley Post 131. Trey Sejnoha and Sam Sejnoha each had two RBI.


Team Manitoba (Canada) 13, Sioux Falls Post 15 West 0

MINNETONKA, Minn. — Team Manitoba raced past Sioux Falls Post 15 West in a Legion baseball game at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Jaxon DeHaan took the loss for Sioux Falls Post 15 West, allowing six hits and 11 runs in 2 ⅓ innings, while striking out one.

Jake Klopstad and Hunter Robinson each had one hit for Sioux Falls Post 15 West.


Pierre Post 8 4, Chanhassen Post 580 Cavaliers (Minn.) 1

MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — Pierre Post 8 picked up a Legion baseball win over the Chanhassen Post 580 Cavaliers at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Jayden Wiebe took the win for Pierre Post 8, allowing five hits and zero runs in five innings, while striking out one.

Bennett Dean, Jett Zabel, George Stalley, Lincoln Kienholz, and Grayson Hunsley each had one hit for Pierre Post 8. Kienholz drove in two runs.


Rapid City Post 320 Stars 5, Middleton (Wisc.) 2

PRIOR LAKE, Minn. — The Rapid City Post 320 Stars earned a Legion baseball win over Middleton (Wisc.) at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Brady Fallon took the win on the mound for the Post 320 Stars, pitching seven innings and allowing three runs on eight hits, while striking out eight and walking one.

Walker Vliestra, Lane Darrow, and Ryan Rufledt each had two hits to lead the Post 320 Stars. Rufledt also drove in two runs.


Hutchinson (Minn.) 12, Rapid City Post 320 Stars 6

PRIOR LAKE, Minn. — Hutchinson (Minn.) doubled up the Rapid City Post 320 Stars in a Legion baseball game at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

James Rogers took the loss for the Post 320 Stars, allowing eight runs on 11 hits and striking out two in 4 ⅔ innings.

Gavyn Dansby led the Post 320 Stars with three hits in four at bats, while Lane Darrow and Walker Vliestra each had two hits. Dansby, Vliestra, Ryan Rufledt, and Noah Popken each drove in one run.


Watertown Post 17 2, Orono Maple Plain (Minn.) 1

VICTORIA, Minn. — Watertown Post 17 edged Orono Maple Plain (Minn.) for a Legion baseball win at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Jack Heesch picked up the win for Watertown Post 17, allowing five hits and one run in seven innings, while striking out nine.

Braedon Zaug led Watertown Post 17 with three hits in four at bats and two RBI.


West Fargo Patriots (N.D.) 12, Mitchell Post 18 11

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The West Fargo Patriots held off Mitchell Post 18 for a Legion baseball win at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Jonah Schmidt led Mitchell Post 18 at the plate with four hits and five RBI, while Jake Helleloid had two hits and two RBI. Jace Larson also had two RBI.

Schmidt also led Mitchell Post 18 on the mound, giving up two runs on two hits, while walking one.


Moorhead Spuds (Minn.) 5, Post 15 East 0

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Post 15 East dropped a Legion game against the Moorhead Spuds at the Gopher Classic on Sunday.

Jack Smith led Post 15 East on the hill, allowing four hits and four runs, while striking out one in 3 ⅓ innings.

Sawyer Tolk led Post 15 East at the plate with one hit in two at bats.
