TABOR — Tabor Post 183 edged Winner/Colome in a Legion baseball game on Saturday.

Trent Herrboldt took the victory for Post 183, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out three in six innings.

Herrboldt, Riley Rothschadl, and Carter Uecker each had two hits, while Herrboldt also had two RBI.

Ethan Bartels took the loss for Winner/Colome, allowing ten hits and five runs in six innings, while striking out nine.

Joey Cole and Charley Pravacek each had two hits and one RBI to lead Winner/Colome, while Cole also had one home run.


Volga 11, Winner/Colome 4

TABOR — Volga raced past Winner/Colome for a Legion baseball win on Saturday.

Damian Danzeisen earned the win for Volga, allowing eight hits and four runs in 5 â…” innings, while striking out four and walking one.

Volga racked up 12 hits, with Parker Puetz leading with three hits and four RBI. Danzeisen and Jake Ziegler each added two hits, while Ziegler had three RBI.

Joey Cole took the loss for Winner/Colome, allowing seven hits and seven runs in 3 â…” innings, while striking out five.

Aiden Barfuss led Winner/Colome with three hits in four at bats, while Justin Hausmann added two hits. Charley Pravacek had two RBI.


Aberdeen Smittys 7, Spearfish Post 164 1

RAPID CITY — The Aberdeen Smittys picked up a Legion baseball win over Spearfish Post 164 on Saturday.

Drew Salfrank earned the win for the Aberdeen Smittys, allowing one run on four hits, while striking out seven and walking one in seven innings.

Salfrank also led the Aberdeen Smittys at the plate, going 4-for-4, while Ethan Kjenstad had two hits and three RBI.

Kaidon Feyereisen took the loss for Post 164, allowing nine hits and seven runs in 4 â…“ innings, while striking out two.

Carter Lyon led Post 164 with two hits in three at bats, while Cody Chapman drove in one run.


Rapid City Post 320 Stars 5, Sturgis Post 33 Titans 4

RAPID CITY — Lane Darrow’s walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning propelled the Rapid City Post 320 Stars to a Legion baseball win over the Sturgis Post 33 Titans on Saturday.

Brady Fallon took the win for the Post 320 Stars, allowing zero hits and zero runs in two innings, while walking one. Noah Popken started the game for the Post 320 Stars, giving up four runs on six hits in five innings, while striking out one.

Darrow led the Post 320 Stars with three hits and two RBI, while Mason Mehlhaff added two hits.

Conner Cruickshank took the loss for the Post 33 Titans, allowing nine hits and five runs, while striking out two in six innings.

Ridge Inhofer, Dawson Inhofer, Owen Cass, Beau Peters, Hunter Janzen, and R.J. Andrzejewski each had one hit for the Post 33 Titans. Ridge Inhofer and Cass each drove in one run.
