Winner/Colome Pheasants 17, Colome Chaos 7

COLOME — The Winner/Colome Pheasants raced past the Colome Chaos for an amateur baseball win on Sunday.

Evan Farner earned the victory for Winner/Colome, pitching six innings and allowing seven runs on ten hits, while striking out four.

The Winner/Colome Pheasants tallied 16 hits, with Drew DeMers leading with three hits in four at bats. Farner, Oscar Pravecek, Austin Calhoon, and Brendan Kamerzell had two hits apiece. Kamerzell and Lakin Neugebauer drove in three runs apiece, while DeMers, Calhoon, and Austin Richey each drove in two runs. 

Korey Harris took the loss for the Colome Chaos, allowing two hits and six runs. Jake Luse started the game for the Colome Chaos, giving up two runs on six hits in five innings, while striking out one and walking one.

The Colome Chaos totaled ten hits, with Harris and Kelly O’Bryan tallying two hits apiece. Ethan Vobr and Shea Connot each drove in two runs.


Dimock-Emery Raptors 2, Parkston Mudcats 1

PARKSTON — Sam Pischke’s single in the top of the ninth inning drove in one run to propel the Dimock-Emery Raptors to a Sunshine League amateur baseball win over the Parkston Mudcats on Sunday.

Jason Schmidt took the win for the Raptors, allowing three hits and one run in nine innings, while striking out 11.

Pischke led Dimock-Emery with three hits in four at bats and two RBI, while Doug Sudbeck added two hits. 

Jake Weber took the loss for the Mudcats, giving up one run on one hit in 1 â…“ innings, while striking out two. Brady Nolz started the game for the Mudcats, pitching seven innings and allowing one run on four hits and striking out five.

Dawson Semmler, Jeff Harris, and Landon Sudbeck each had one hit to lead Parkston.


Tabor 2, Freeman Black Sox 1

FREEMAN — Sam Caba’s single in the top of the ninth inning drove in the winning run for Tabor in a South Central League amateur baseball win over the Freeman Black Sox on Sunday.

Chase Kortan picked up the win for Tabor, allowing zero runs on two hits, while striking out two in two innings.

Caba led Tabor with one RBI.

Blake Schroedermeier took the loss for the Black Sox, allowing five hits and two runs, while striking out 17 in nine innings.

Phil Madsen led the Black Sox with three hits in four at bats and one RBI.
