Tabor Post 183 11, Gregory County 3

GREGORY — Tabor Post 183 used a seven-run third inning to race past Gregory County for a Legion baseball win on Tuesday.

Carter Uecker took the win for Post 183, pitching four innings, while allowing three runs on seven hits, while striking out six and walking one.

Post 183 tallied 14 hits, with Nolan Dvorak and Trent Herrboldt tallying three hits apiece. Uecker, Riley Rothschadl, and Landon Bares each added one hit. Rothschadl drove in two runs, while Dvorak, Uecker, Bares, and Dawson Bietz each drove in one run.

Bryce Frank took the loss for Gregory County, giving up seven runs on five hits in two innings, while striking out one.

Trey Murray and Gannon Thomas led Gregory County with two hits apiece, while Frank, Rylan Peck, Gunnar Stephens, Brogan Glover, and Carsen Klundt each had one hit. Frank and Stephens each drove in one run.

Winner/Colome Royals 8, Platte/Geddes White Caps 7

WINNER — Ethan Bartels hit a walk-off double to allow two runs to score to cap a seven run seventh inning in a comeback win over Platte/Geddes on Tuesday.

Aiden Barfuss took the win for Winner/Colome, allowing two hits and two runs in two innings, while striking out two. Justin Hausmann started the game for the Royals, pitching five innings and allowing three hits and five runs, while striking out two.

Barfuss, Landon Calhoon, and Ashton Klein each had two hits to lead the Royals. Barfuss also tallied three RBI, while Bartels added two RBI.

Aiden Bultje took the loss for Platte/Geddes, allowing three hits and five runs, while striking out two in five innings. Caden Oberbroekling started the game for the White Caps, pitching 6 â…“ innings and allowing five runs on five hits, while striking out seven.

Caden Foxley led the White Caps with three hits in four at bats and three RBI, while Dakota Munger added two RBI.


Renner Royals 5, Harrisburg Tigers 3

HARRISBURG — The Renner Royals picked up a Legion baseball win over the Harrisburg Tigers on Tuesday.

Ian Scherbring pitched the Renner Royals to victory on the mound, allowing three runs on seven hits in five innings, while striking out two.

Garret Hoffman and Preston Konechne each had two hits to lead the Royals. Hoffman, Leo Hueners, Emanuel Struck, and Wyatt Hermsen each drove in one run.

Maddox Plack started the game for the Harrisburg Tigers, allowing seven hits and four runs in four innings, while striking out three.

Jack Riley led the Tigers with three hits in four at bats, while Max Carlson added two hits in three at bats. Taylor Klein drove in two runs. Riley and Klein each had one home run.


Harrisburg Tigers 5, Renner Royals 1

HARRISBURG — The Harrisburg Tigers earned a Legion baseball win over the Renner Royals on Tuesday.

Braxton Kusler took the win for the Harrisburg Tigers, allowing one run on three hits in 4 â…“ innings, while striking out four.

Lincoln Carlson, Tyman Long, Jack Sutton, Maddux Scherer, and Palmer Boyd each had one hit to lead the Harrisburg Tigers. Carlson drove in three runs, while Long and Boyd each drove in one run.

Carter Peterson took the loss for the Renner Royals, pitching three innings and allowing three hits and three runs, while striking out three. Trey Heckenlaible started the game for the Royals, allowing two hits and two runs, while striking out two in two innings.

Leo Hueners led the Renner Royals with two hits.


Spearfish Post 164 6, Alliance (Neb.) 5

ALLIANCE, Neb. — Spearfish Post 164 edged Alliance, Neb. in a Legion baseball game on Tuesday.

Alec Sundsted took the win for Post 164, lasting two innings, while allowing zero runs on two hits and striking out two. Hogan Tystad started the game for Post 164, allowing five runs on eight hits, while striking out five in five innings.

Braden Ericks led Post 164 with two hits in four at bats. Sundsted, Kaidon Feyereisen, and Noah Mollman each drove in one run.
