Redfield 15, Lake Norden/Badger 2 (6 innings)

LAKE NORDEN — Redfield drew 15 walks as it rolled to a Legion baseball win over Lake Norden/Badger on Wednesday.

Tate Neuharth and Logan LaBrie each had three RBIs in the win, with Neuharth adding two hits and two RBIs and LaBrie tallying one hit and one walk. Jett Kleinsasser and Aiden Frankenstein each had two RBIs on a hit and a walk while Hunter Binger, Micah Zastrow and Noah Johnson each drove in a run in the win.

Binger earned the win on the mound in 4.2 innings, allowing two unearned runs on four hits and five walks, striking out two.

For LNB, Teague Stevenson took the loss in 4.2 innings, allowing seven runs on four hits and six walks, striking out seven.

Turner Stevenson had an RBI-single while Evan Schultz added two hits in the loss.


Clark/Willow Lake 25, Chamberlain 9 (5 innings)

CHAMBERLAIN — Clark/Willow Lake pounded out 13 hits to run past Chamberlain in Legion baseball action on Wednesday.

Watson Grantham had four hits, three RBIs and a walk in the win, Jakob Steen poured in four RBIs on a double and a triple, Caleb Drenth had three RBIs on three hits and a walk, Max Bratland added two RBIs on one hit while Damian Severson, Konrad Frankfurth and Bennett Pommer each had an RBI in the win.

Bratland earned the win on the mound in three innings, allowing nine runs on eight hits and four walks, striking out five.

For Chamberlain, Hunter Frederick took the loss in 3.1 innings, allowing 14 runs on nine hits and a walk, striking out three.

Fredrick Vanderley had three RBIs on two hits, Cooper Gerard added three RBIs on one hit while Cannon Speer, Frederick and Jeric Klegas each had an RBI in the loss.


Harrisburg Gold 8, Dakota Valley 2 (6 innings)

NORTH SIOUX CITY — An eight-run sixth inning powered Harrisburg Gold over Dakota Valley in Legion baseball action on Wednesday.

Nick Riley had two hits, a walk, and an RBI in the win while Andrew Dierks and Griffin Schlapkohl each had an RBI on one hit for Harrisburg.

Landen Bachtell earned the win on the mound in six innings of work, allowing two runs on two hits and five walks, striking out seven.

For DV, Jackson Shoulders allowed six runs on three hits and a walk in 1.1 innings, striking out two.

Noah Graham had two hits while Sterling Schauff drove in a run in the loss.


Dakota Valley 8, Harrisburg Gold 5

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Jack Wiese and Noah Graham each drove in a pair of runs as Dakota Valley split a Legion baseball double header on Wednesday with Harrisburg Gold.

Wiese and Graham each had two RBIs on two hits while Sterling Schauff, Micah Dembowski and Bryce Anderson each had an RBI in the win.

Schauff earned the win on the mound in 2.1 innings, allowing four runs on four hits and a walk, striking out three.

For Harrisburg, Jaxon Roesler allowed eight runs on seven hits and six walks in four innings, striking out three.

Griffin Schlapkohl and Dalton Wendling each drove in two runs on one hit, including a two-run homer by Schlapkohl in the loss.


Brandon Valley 12, Watertown 4

BRANDON — Brandon Valley pounded out 12 hits to pull away from Watertown for a Legion baseball win on Wednesday.

Jack Blomgren had three hits, two doubles and two RBIs for BV, Cooper Veld added two RBIs on two hits, a homer and a walk, Brayden Knutson collected three RBIs on two hits, one double, Ryder Mueller had two hits and an RBI while Grady Gindorff added two walks and an RBI in the win.

Blomgren earned the win on the mound in 4.1 innings, allowing three runs on eight walks, striking out eight.

For Watertown, Tripp Jorgenson took the loss in 3.1 innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits and four walks, striking out two.

Sam Olson had two RBIs on a hit and a walk while Cole Hansen added an RBI on two walks in the loss.


Brandon Valley 10, Watertown 6

BRANDON — A four-run sixth inning separated Brandon Valley from Watertown during Legion baseball action on Wednesday.

Will VanLeur took the win on the mound in 2.1 innings, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out one.

Bryton Stroh drove in four runs on a hit and a walk, including a home run, Maxwell Peters had two RBIs on two hits while Bryce Plucker hit a home run, driving in two runs in the win.

For Watertown, Hunter Halajian took the loss in 5.1 innings, allowing 10 runs on five hits and five walks, striking out seven.

Markus Pitkin had three RBIs on a homer and a walk, Jaxon Falak added two RBIs on a double and a walk while Jackson McClemans totaled an RBI on two walks in the loss.


Mitchell 9, Sioux Falls East 4

SIOUX FALLS — Kaiden Allen drove in three runs on three hits as Mitchell took down Sioux Falls East in Legion baseball action on Wednesday.

Allen batted 3-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBIs in the win, Jacob Ebert had two RBIs on a double, Canon Moller added an RBI-single while Ethan Hegg had two hits and a walk in the win.

Carter McCormick took the win on the mound in five innings of work, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out nine.

For SFE, Carter Brady took the loss in three innings pitched, allowing seven runs on five hits and five walks, striking out two.

Caleb Bumann had an RBI on two hits and a walk, including a solo homer while Brady Murra and Cooper Wasmund each drove in a run in the loss.


Mitchell 11, SIoux Falls East 10

SIOUX FALLS — Mitchell held off a late seventh-inning rally to sweep Sioux Falls East in a Legion baseball double header on Wednesday.

Ethan Hegg drove in four runs on four hits in the win, Canon Moller totaled two RBIs on a double and two walks, Ian Weber had three hits and an RBI, Kaiden Allen added two hits while Dawson Adams, Jacob Ebert, Tyler Christensen and Jaxson Hartman each tallied an RBI in the win.

Weber tossed six innings in the win for Mitchell, allowing four runs on four hits and three walks, striking out eight.

For SFE, Cooper Wasmund took the loss in 4.1 innings, allowing eight runs on 11 hits and five walks, striking out five.

Ethan Knettel had two RBIs on two hits and two walks, Caden Sporrer added two hits and a walk while Brady Murra and Carter Brady each had an RBI in the loss.


Aberdeen 21, Huron 11

HURON — Aberdeen pounded out 22 hits as the Smittys pulled away from Huron in Legion baseball action on Wednesday.

Jackson Post led the Smittys with six RBIs on three hits and a walk, Michael Dutenhoffer added four RBIs on three hits, two doubles, and a walk, Karson Borge and JaSean Rivera each had three RBIs on a combined four hits and a walk, Wheeler Malsam added two RBIs on one hit while Jehiel Aviles tallied three hits, a walk, and an RBI in the win. Benny EIsenbeisz tallied three hits while Drake Soderlund totaled two hits for Aberdeen as well.

B Peterson took the win on the mound in five innings pitched, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks, striking out seven.

For Huron, Nolan Stahly took the loss in 4.2 innings, allowing 10 runs on 13 hits and a walk, striking out three.

Trace Wenz had three RBIs on three hits, including a double and a homer, Jeremy Hofer added two RBIs on two hits and a walk while Zach Scheer and Chase Schuchhardt both drove in a run in the loss.


Huron 18, Aberdeen 15

HURON — A six-run sixth inning separated Huron from Aberdeen in Legion baseball action on Wednesday.

Chase Schuchhardt drove in four runs on four hits and a walk for Huron, Parker Bischoff added three RBIs on two hits, Cooper Bischoff, Zach Scheer, CJ Siedschlag and Nolan Stahly each drove in two runs on two hits, Trace Wenz added an RBI on two hits and two walks while Korbin Brock had an RBI on one hit in the win.

Brock took the win on the mound in 2.1 innings, allowing three unearned runs on four walks, striking out one.

For Aberdeen, Wheeler Malsam took the loss in four innings of work, allowing 12 runs on 11 hits and three walks.

Karson Borge had four RBIs on two hits and two walks, Jehiel Aviles added two RBIs on three hits and a walk, Drake Soderlund added two hits, an RBI and a walk while six other batters drove in a run in the loss.

 

Belle Fourche 13, Gillette (Wyo.) 5

BELLE FOURCHE — Belle Fourche defeated Gillette, Wyoming, in Legion baseball action on Wednesday.

Urijah Hamilton had four RBIs in the win, Trig Thomsen and Graham VanderBoom each had an RBI on one hit, Gavin Pearson totaled three RBIs on two hits and a walk while Tate Thomsen and Raif Parmeter each had an RBI in the win.

Hamilton earned the win on the mound in 2.1 innings, allowing one run on two hits and two walks, striking out three.
