ALEXANDRIA — The Canova Gang earned a shutout victory over Alexandria in a Legion baseball game on Monday.

Jack Neises took the win for the Canova Gang, pitching seven innings and allowing three hits and zero runs, while striking out ten.

Kieffer Klinkhammer led the Canova Gang with two hits and three at bats.

Jayden Kayser took the loss for Alexandria, giving up seven hits and six runs, while striking out four in six innings.

Keenan Waldera, Riley Haynes, and Kade Waldera each tallied one hit for Alexandria.


Redfield Post 92 12, Aberdeen Smittys 2

REDFIELD — Redfield Post 92 raced past Aberdeen Smittys for a Legion baseball win on Monday.

Owen Osborn took the win, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out two and walking one in seven innings.

Redfield Post 92 racked up 12 hits, with Osborn, Seth Siebrecht, Camden Osborn, and Erik Salmen each had two hits. Salmen and Easton Millar each had two RBI’s. Salmen also had two stolen bases.

Josh Steinwandt took the loss for Aberdeen Smittys, pitching three innings and allowing six runs on seven hits and striking out one. Steinwandt and Casey Vining recorded two hits apiece to lead the Smittys.


Groton Post 39 13, Webster 0

WEBSTER — Groton Post 39 picked up a Legion baseball win over Webster on Monday.

Pierce Kettering took the win for Post 39, going five innings and allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out eight.

Groton tallied eight hits, with Kettering and Bradin Althoff racking up two hits apiece. Jackson Cogley drove in four runs, while Kettering drove in two runs.

Carter Williams took the loss for Webster, giving up five hits and seven runs in 2 ⅔ innings, while striking out one.

Brent Bearman led Webster with one hit in two at bats.


Harrisburg 17, Post 911 Chargers 2

HARRISBURG — Harrisburg cruised past the Post 911 Chargers for a Legion baseball win on Monday.

Dustin Adamson earned the win for Harrisburg, allowing two runs on zero hits and striking out one in 2 ⅔ innings.

Harrisburg tallied 12 hits in the game, including Brayden Juhl and Dalton Uthe with two hits apiece. Adamson had two RBI’s.

Caden Reitz took the loss for the Post 911 Chargers, giving up two runs on four hits in three innings, while striking out four.

Austin Connell and Jake Isakson each drove in one run for the Post 911 Chargers.


Platte/Geddes White Caps 10, Menno/Scotland Post 152 2

MENNO — The Platte-Geddes White Caps pulled away from Menno/Scotland Post 152 for a Legion baseball win on Monday.

Jackson Neuman earned the win for the White Caps, allowing two hits and two runs in three innings, while striking out five.

Caden Foxley, Beau Kirsch, and Aiden Bultje each had two hits, while Foxley drove in two runs.

Treyton Sayler took the loss for Post 152, lasting three innings and allowing four hits and seven runs, while striking out three.

Sayler, Kadeyn Ulmer, Trent Guthmiller, Austin Pillsbury, and Tyrus Bietz each had one hit for Menno/Scotland Post 152.
