COLTON — Baltic Post 175 scored nine runs in the seventh inning to pull away from Colton Post 206 in a Legion baseball game on Thursday.

Colbe Scott took the win for Post 175, allowing six hits and three runs in six innings, while striking out nine and walking one.

Alex Haagenson led Post 175 with three hits in four at bats, while Scott, Matt Muston, and Hunter Larson each had two hits. Riley Schultz drove in three runs, while Muston drove in two runs.

Riley Carlson took the loss for Post 206, pitching two innings and allowing four runs on three hits, while striking out three.

Cole Fokken led Post 206 with two hits in three at bats. 

Mitchell Post 18 18, Libby Loggers (Mont.) 0

MITCHELL — Mitchell Post 18 raced past the Libby Loggers for a Legion baseball win on Thursday.

Peyton Schroder took the win for Post 18, giving up zero runs on two hits in five innings, while striking out six.

Post 18 recorded 16 hits in the game, including Lincoln Bates and Dylan Soulek leading with three hits apiece. Jonah Schmidt, Jake Helleloid, and Riley McGinnis each had two hits. Bates and Jace Larson led with three RBI’s each, while Schmidt and McGinnis each had two RBI’s. 

Aydan Williamson took the loss for the Libby Loggers, allowing six hits and seven runs in 1 ⅓ innings, while striking out two and walking one.

Mitchell Post 18 10, Gillette Riders (Wyo.) 1

MITCHELL — Mitchell Post 18 cruised past the Gillette Riders for a Legion baseball win on Thursday.

Dylan Soulek picked up the win for Post 18, giving up one run on four hits in six innings, while striking out seven.

Soulek, Jace Larson, Seth Muth, Jake Helleloid, Hudson Haley, and Brock Sparks each had one hit apiece for Post 18. Soulek had three RBI’s and Sparks added two RBI’s.

Aiden Peterson took the loss for the Gillette Riders, surrendering one run on one hit in two innings, while striking out two and walking one.

Dominic Hecker led the Riders with two hits in two at bats.

Castlewood Post 250 5, Post 70 Flandreau 3

CASTLEWOOD — Castlewood Post 250 scored the last five runs to earn a Legion baseball win over Post 70 Flandreau on Thursday.

Kagan Tvedt picked up the win for Post 250, pitching six innings and allowing seven hits and three runs, while striking out five.

Tvedt and Hunter Smith each had one hit to lead Post 250, while Jackson Schofield and David Prohl each had one RBI.

Kelly Lewis took the loss for Post 70, giving up three runs on one hit and striking out two in one inning. Tash Lunday started the game for Post 70, allowing one hit and zero runs in 2 ⅔ innings, while striking out eight and walking one.

Ethan Hoffman led Post 70 with three hits in four at bats, while Logan Voelker had two RBI’s.

Post 70 Flandreau 9, Castlewood Post 250 5

CASTLEWOOD — Post 70 Flandreau scored three runs in each of the first three innings to secure a Legion baseball win over Castlewood Post 250 on Thursday.

Sam Gassman earned the win for Post 70, allowing three hits and three runs in two innings, while striking out one.

Kolby Peters had a big day to lead Post 70, tallying two hits in three at bats, including one home run, and driving in four runs.

David Prohl took the loss for Post 250, allowing six hits and nine runs in two innings.

Lane Tvedt led Post 250 with two hits in three at bats, while Prohl drove in two runs.
