Dakota Classic Legion Tournament in Sioux Falls 
Brandon Valley 8, SF Post 911 Chargers 0 in 6 innings 

Tate Ivers pitched a no-hitter in a game that was called after six innings to help lead Brandon Valley past Sioux Falls Post 911 on Friday. 

Ivers gave up three walks while striking out nine in a 81-pitch outing. 

Matt Brown was 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Brandon Valley as Post 131 jumped to a 5-0 lead after three innings and added a run in the fourth and two in the sixth. 

Shakopee (Minn.) Sabers 7, Yankton Post 12 4 

Shakopee jumped out to a 6-1 lead after four innings and never looked back en route to a win over Yankton on Friday. 

Joe Roder doubled and tripled to lead the Sabers. 

Jaden Case gave up one run on five hits while pitching six innings on 99 pitches to pick up the win. 

Yankton was led at the plate by Dylan Prouty who was 2 for 4 with a double and drove in two runs.  Drew Ryken took the loss — pitching five innings on 84 pitches. He gave up six runs on 12 hits with two earned runs while walking one and striking out one. 

Aberdeen Smittys Legion 16, Sioux Falls Post 15 1 

Aberdeen scored eight runs in the sixth inning to curse to an easy win over Sioux Falls Post 14 on Friday. 

Carter Dingman, Jaiden Smith, Brendan Livermont and Drew Salfrank led the Smittys at the plate with multiple hits. 

Brian Holmstrom picked up the win, pitching five innings on 83 pitches. He gave up one run on five hits while walking two and striking out seven. 

Brandon Valley 5, Rosemont Blue Legion 4 

Austin Reiter’s walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning propelled Brandon Valley to a victory over Rosemont Blue Legion on Friday. 

Post 131 was down 4-2 entering the bottom of the seventh inning when Reiter took advantage of two walks issued by Rosemont pitcher Tyler Roth. 

Matt Brown picked up the win for Brandon Valley — pitching â…” of an inning, giving up a hit and struck out one on 12 pitches. 

Viroqua, Wis. 6, Yankton 3 

Viroqua scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to break a 3-3 tie to secure a win over Yankton on Friday. 

Lucas Kampshoff led Yankton with two hits including a double and took the loss after pitching the final two innings. He gave up three runs on three hits and struck out one on 38 pitches. 

Aberdeen Smittys Legion 9, Lennox Orioles 1 

Nick Clemens, Casey Vining and Brendan Livermont each drove in runs as part of a four-run second inning to lead Aberdeen to victory on Friday. 

Brock Martin picked up the win for the Smittys — pitching 4â…” innings, giving up one run on one hit. He struck out 12 and walked five while recording 85 pitches. 

Connor Eich took the loss for Lennox, going 5â…” innings, giving up nine runs on 11 hits while striking five. He pitched 98 pitches. 


Baltic Legion 13, Menno/Scotland 6 

BALTIC —  Baltic scored four runs in the fifth and sixth innings to get past Menno/Scotland on Friday night. 

Tayden Hansen led Baltic at the plate with five RBIs 

Winner/Colome 10, Rapid City Post 315 7 

WINNER — Winner scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to hold off Rapid City Post 315 on Friday night. 

Joey Cole picked up the win for Winner/Colome, pitching six innings, giving up seven runs on eight hits. He walked four and struck out three while recording 105 pitches.
