Dakota Valley Post 319 11, Hartford 118/Humboldt 62 2

HUMBOLDT — Dakota Valley Post 319 tallied six runs in the seventh inning to pull away from Hartford 118/Humboldt 62 in a Legion baseball game on Saturday.

Jake Pruchniak took the win for Dakota Valley, pitching seven innings, allowing three and two runs and striking out 14.

Dakota Valley totaled 14 hits on the day, with Randy Rosenquist going 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Post 319. Beau Jones and Jackson Strawn each had two hits. Brendan Barnett drove in three runs.

Andrew Zimmer took the loss for Hartford 118/Humboldt 62, allowing seven hits and five runs in 5 ⅔ innings, while striking out eight and walking one.

Bennett Sebert led Hartford 118/Humboldt 62 with two hits in three at bats.

HUMBOLDT — Dakota Valley Post 319 racked up 16 hits en route to a Legion baseball win over Post 174 on Saturday.

Grant VanDenHul earned the win for Dakota Valley Post 319, lasting five innings and allowing seven hits and five runs, while striking out one.

Jaxon Hennies led Dakota Valley Post 319 with three hits in four at bats, while Ashton Pick, Jake Pruchniak, Brayden Major, Garrett Anderson, Randy Rosenquist, and Beau Jones tallied two hits apiece Rosenquist and Anderson drove in three runs, while Major, Pruchniak, and Jones drove in two runs apiece. Hennies, Pick, Jackson Strawn, and Ethan Anema each added one RBI.

Brandon Fodness took the loss for Post 174, giving up eight runs on eight hits in 2 ⅓ innings.

Fodness and Brett Duncan each had two hits to lead Post 174, while Brandon Otte drove in two runs.

DELL RAPIDS — Dell Rapids Post 65 scored four runs in the sixth inning to pull away from Salem in a Legion baseball game on Saturday.

Will Jaton earned the win for Dell Rapids Post 65, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out six in six innings.

Dell Rapids Post 65 tallied 11 hits, with Brayden Pankonen, Landon Ruesink, and Treyse Eastman recording two hits apiece. Ruesink and Jack Henry drove in two runs each, while Dylan Mathis drove in one run.

Kyle Schoon took the loss for Salem, allowing seven hits and four runs in five innings, while striking out two.

Bobby Koepsell and Braeden Kerkhove each had one hit and one RBI to lead Salem.

Kindt, Ryan Flanagan, and Nate Skillman each recorded two hits to lead Garretson, while Colby Buseman tallied three RBI.

Christenson allowed zero hits and zero runs in five innings, while striking out five.

Ethan Hoffman went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Post 70 Flandreau. Tash Lunday and Gary Moose each drove in two runs for Post 70 Flandreau.

Samuel Nelson took the loss for Post 40 Webster, pitching four innings and allowing nine hits and 10 runs, while striking out two.

Tash Lunday picked up the victory for Post 70 Flandreau, allowing five hits and two runs in five innings, while striking out seven.

Ethan Hoffman led Post 70 Flandreau with two hits in three at bats. Hoffman also had four stolen bases and three RBI. Maddox Biever had two RBI.

Christian Mueller took the loss for Elk Point-Jefferson, pitching four innings, allowing eight runs on four hits and striking out one.

Ty Trometer led Elk Point-Jefferson with two hits in three at bats.

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Mitchell Post 18 picked up a Legion baseball win over the Spokane Cannons on Saturday.

Landon Waddell picked up the win for Post 18, giving up two runs on eight hits in seven innings, while striking out six.

Jonah Schmidt and Jace Larson led Post 18 with two hits apiece. Schmidt also drove in two runs.

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Mitchell Post 18 earned a narrow Legion baseball win over the Gillette Riders on Saturday.

Jace Larson took the win for Post 18, allowing five hits and five runs in 6 ⅓ innings, while striking out two.

Brock Sparks, Carson Fahey, Dylan Soulek, Jake Helleloid, Seth Muth, Mason Geraets, and Riley McGinnis each had one hit for Post 18. Geraets drove in three runs.

ALLIANCE, Neb. — The Sturgis Post 33 Titans dropped a Legion baseball game against the Westco Zephyr’s on Saturday.

Dawson Inhofer took the loss for the Sturgis Post 33 Titans, allowing seven hits and six runs and four innings, while striking out four.

Owen Cass led the Sturgis Post 33 Titans with two hits in three at bats.

ALLIANCE, Neb. — Ogallala held off the Sturgis Post 33 Titans for a Legion baseball win on Saturday.

BRANDON — Brandon Valley Post 131 took home a Legion baseball victory against the West Fargo Patriots on Saturday.

Aiden Zerr was on the mound for Post 131, lasting seven innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out five and walking one.

Tayton Stroh and Austin Reiter each tallied two hits to lead Post 131. Reiter also drove in two runs, while Stroh drove in one run.


Post 74 Bandits 3, Willmar (Minn.) 1

MILROY, Minn. — The Post 74 Bandits picked up a Legion baseball win over Willmar on Saturday.

Lincoln Hardin earned the win for the Post 74 Bandits, allowing one run on five hits and striking out in seven innings.

Hardin, Ashton Witte, Breck Hirrschoff, and Sam Hardin each recorded one hit to lead the Post 74 Bandits. Lincoln Hardin also drove in one run.

MARSHALL, Minn. — The Post 74 Bandits held off Alexandria (Minn.) in extra innings for a Legion baseball win on Saturday.

Justin Cofell led the Post 74 Bandits on the hill, giving up zero runs on one hit in one inning. Austin Clark started the game for the Post 74 Bandits, allowing three runs on five hits in four innings, while striking out two.

Lincoln Hardin led the Post 74 Bandits with three hits in five at bats. Nathan Lease drove in two runs for the Post 74 Bandits.
