ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson cruised past the Post 911 Chargers in a Legion baseball game on Monday.

Aiden Zach pitched Elk Point-Jefferson to the win, lasting five innings and allowing zero runs on two hits.

Cade Fennel led Elk Point-Jefferson with two hits in three at bats. Noah McDermott led with two RBI, while Hunter Geary stole three bases.

Jake Isakson took the loss for the Post 911 Chargers, allowing one hit and three runs in one-third of an inning, while walking one. Tate Connell started the game for the Post 911 Chargers, allowing one hit and five runs in one-third of an inning.

Harris Adamson and Aidan Strandberg each had one hit for the Post 911 Chargers.


Yankton Post 12 9, Spearfish Post 164 4

SPEARFISH — Yankton Post 12 surged past Spearfish Post 164 for a Legion baseball win on Monday.

Drew Ryken earned the win for Yankton Post 12, giving up one run on four hits, while striking out four in 5 ⅔ innings. Samuel Kampshoff started the game for Yankton Post 12, lasting one-third of an inning and allowing one hit and two runs.

Ryken, Mac Ryken, and Joe Gokie each recorded two hits to lead Yankton Post 12. Gokie led Post 12 with four RBI, while Mac Ryken tallied two RBI and Samuel Kampshoff and Lucas Kampshoff added one RBI apiece.

Kaidon Feyereisen took the loss for Spearfish Post 164, allowing seven runs on six hits in four innings, while striking out one.

Carter Lyon and Ty Seiber each had two hits to lead Spearfish Post 164, while Hogan Tystad drove in two runs.


Baltic Post 175 11, Colton Post 206 1

BALTIC — Baltic Post 175 pulled away from Colton Post 206 for a Legion baseball win on Monday.

Riley Dobbins led Baltic Post 175 on the mound, lasting six innings, while allowing one run on three hits and striking out 11. Dobbins also led Post 175 with three hits in three at bats.

Alex Haagenson and Jose Valadez each had two hits, while Haagenson drove in two runs. Beau Keith and Tayden Hansen also drove in two runs apiece.

Riley Carlson took the loss for Colton Post 206, giving up five runs on ten hits in five innings, while striking out six.

Carlson, Barrett Althoff, and Lawson Louiseu each had one hit to lead Colton Post 206, while Cole Fokken drove in one run.


Dell Rapids Post 65 11, Volga 1

DELL RAPIDS — Dell Rapids Post 65 raced past Volga for a Legion baseball win on Monday.

Brayden Pankonen picked up the win for Dell Rapids Post 65, allowing one run on six hits, while striking out two in five innings.

Landon Ruesink and Mason Stubbe each recorded two hits to lead Dell Rapids Post 65, while Ruesink, Jack Henry, Dylan Mathis, and Sutton Williams each drove in two runs.

Connor Gross took the loss for Volga, lasting 3 ⅔ innings and allowing seven hits and ten runs, while striking out one and walking one.

Jake Ziegler led Volga with two hits in two at bats, while Dylen Milton drove in one run.


Lake Norden/Badger 7, Castlewood Post 250 0

LAKE NORDEN — Lake Norden/Badger earned a Legion baseball win over Castlewood Post 250 on Monday.

Jackson Noem picked up the win for Lake Norden/Badger, pitching seven innings and allowing three hits and zero runs, while striking out 11.

Cameron Thue led Lake Norden/Badger with three hits in four at bats, while Kadyn Swenson and Christian Rodriguez each tallied two hits. Noem, Thue, and George Jensen each drove in two runs. 

Jeremiah Wiersma took the loss for Castlewood Post 250, allowing ten hits and seven runs, while striking out five in six innings.

Wiersma, Xander Sheehan, and Kegan Tvedt each had one hit to lead Castlewood Post 250.

Castlewood Post 250 won Game 2 by a score of 1-0.


Wishek/Linton (N.D.) 11, Mobridge Post 4 1

MOBRIDGE — Mobridge Post 4 dropped a Legion baseball game against Wishek/Linton, North Dakota, on Monday.

Jake Faehnrich took the loss for Mobridge Post 4, pitching six innings and allowing 12 runs on 14 hits, while striking out three.

Simon Fried led Mobridge Post 4 with two hits in four at bats. Rocky Good Shield, Holden Eisemann, and Trace Cerney each had one hit, while Faehnrich drove in one run.


Fallon Omaha (Neb.) 6, Post 320 Stars 3

OMAHA, Neb. — The Post 320 Stars gave up three runs in the sixth inning and fell in a Legion baseball game against Fallon Omaha (Neb.) on Monday.
