Tabor Post 183 18, Alexandria 5

TABOR — A 13 run second inning powered Tabor Post 183 past Alexandria in a Legion baseball game on Monday.

Nolan Carda was the winning pitcher for Tabor Post 183, pitching two innings and allowing four runs on five hits, while striking out two and walking one.

Riley Rothschadl led Post 183 with three hits in four at bats. Nolan Dvorak, Dustin Honomichl, and Logan Winckler each tallied two hits. Honomichl drove in four runs, while Rothschadl and Dvorak each drove in three runs. Winckler drove in two runs.

Kade Waldera started the game for Alexandria, pitching one inning and allowing six hits and seven runs. Waldera also led Alexandria with two hits in three at bats. Jackson Jarding had two RBI’s.

Aberdeen Smittys 12, Groton Area 1

GROTON — Aberdeen Smittys raced past Groton Area for a Legion baseball win on Monday.

Brock Martin picked up the win for Smittys, allowing zero hits and zero runs in three innings, while striking out five.

Casey Vining led Smittys with three hits in three at bats. Josh Steinwandt, Nick Clemens,  Andrew Richardson, and Drew Salfrank each tallied two hits. Richardson had four RBI’s, while Vining and Steinwandt each had two RBI’s.

Bradin Althoff took the loss for Groton Area, pitching 3 ⅓ innings and allowing eight runs on ten hits and striking out one. Jackson Cogley led Groton Area with one hit and one RBI.
