MITCHELL — Mitchell completed a doubleheader sweep of Huron with a pair of wins on Tuesday. 

Blake Brosz and Dylan Soulek helped lead Mitchell in a Game 1 win. Brosz pitched a complete game, giving up three runs on six hits. He struck out three and walked none. Soulek led Mitchell at the plate with two hits including three stolen bases. 

Jack Pederson got the start for Huron and pitched six innings, giving up five runs on four hits. He struck out seven and walked two. 

Trace Wenz, Layne Wenzel, Ethan Busch and Mason Davis all had hits to lead Huron at the plate. 

In Game 2, Mitchell scored five runs in the bottom of the second and never looked back in earning the win. 

Soulek once again led Mitchell at the plate with four hits including two doubles. 

Tyler Sanderson got the start for Mitchel and gave up five runs on five hits in six innings of work. He struck out two and walked three before handing the ball off to Carter Miller. 

Bubba Peterson got the start of Huron, giving up eight runs on eight hits in five innings. He struck out one and walked one. 

Mason Davis and Tanner Gilbert led Huron at the plate with a pair of hits. 


Yankton 11, Watertown 2
Yankton 19, Watertown 2  

WATERTOWN —Yankton pulled off a doubleheader sweep of Watertown on Tuesday afternoon. 

Lucas Kampshoff had three hits to lead Yankton to a 11-2 win.

Josh Sheldon picked up the win for Post 12, allowing two runs on nine hits in 6 2/3 innings. 

Carson Mutschler led Watertown with three hits, while Ryan Roby and Treton Himmerich drove in runs for Yankton. 

In Game 2, Matthew Sheldon drove in four runs and had three hits to lead Yankton to a 19-2 win. 

Mac Ryken earned the win for Yankton, giving up two runs on five hits. He struck out two and walked three in five innings of work. 

Dylan Rawdon led Watertown with two hits while Treyton Himmerich and Kaden Rylance drove in a pair of runs. 


Post 320 Stars 12, Sturgis 0 

STURGIS — Jett Wetzler pitched a no-hitter to help lead Post 320 to a win over Sturgis on Tuesday. 

Wetzler allowed just a walk and struck out four while pitching seven innings on 77 pitches. 

Ryan Rufledt had three hits to lead Post 320. 


Brandon Valley 6, Post 15-West 3 
Post 15-West 7, Brandon Valley 2 

SIOUX FALLS — Post 15-West avoided the doubleheader sweep with a win over Brandon Valley after dropping the first game. 

Ryland Caroll, Daniel Butyen and Nick Lohr had two hits to lead Brandon Valley to a Game 1  win over Post 15-West on Tuesday. 

Jared Zerr picked up the win, pitching six innings while giving up three runs on eight hits. He struck out five and walked two 

Logan Riddle took the loss for Post 15-East after pitching five innings, giving up five runs on seven hits. He struck out five and walked two. 

Noah Verdoorn and Ryan Rysavy had two hits to lead Post 15 to a Game 2 win over Brandon Valley 

Treyson Harty-Olsen picked up the win after allowing two runs on one hit in three innings of work. He struck out two and walked two. 


Post 15 7, Dell Rapids 5 
Post 15 19, Dell Rapids 9 (5 innings)

SIOUX FALLS — Post 15 completed a doubleheader sweep of Dell Rapids on Tuesday.

Down 4-3 going into the bottom of the sixth inning, Post 15 scored four runs to get past Dell Rapids in Game 1. 

Jack Osterloo led Post 15 with two hits including a three-run home run in the sixth inning.

Jacob Muchow got the start for Post 15, allowing four runs on five hits over three innings while striking out two. 

Joe Rechtenbaugh got the start for Dell Rapids  and the right-hander gave up three runs on three hits while striking out three. 

In Game 2, Post  15 overcame a 9-2 deficit by scoring 17 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. 

Brycen Mitchell, Chase Dubois, Dayton Gress, Sam Wicks and Aiden Doyle had multiple hits to lead Post 15 at the plate.

Jacob Muchow got the start for Post 15, pitching an inning while giving up three runs on two hits and striking out three. 

Konrad Richeal took the loss giving up five runs on seven hits in four innings of work before handing the ball off to Brayden Pankonen. 

Logan Lafortune and Dylan Kindt led Dell Rapids at the plate. 


Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern 7, Groton 0 

GROTON — Andrew Bishop had three hits to lead Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern to a win over Groton on Tuesday. 

Ashton Remily picked up the win as the lefty allowed four hits while striking out six in six innings of work. 

Braxton Imrie took the loss for Groton, giving up seven runs on five hits. He struck out eight while pitching four innings. 

Logan Ringgingberg was 3-for-3 to lead Groton. 


Dakota Valley 6, Elk Point Jefferson 1 

ELK POINT—  Dakota Valley scored five runs in the top of the second inning to cruse to a win over Elk Point-Jefferson on Tuesday. 

Jaxon Hennies led Dakota Valley at the plate with two hits including a double in the second inning. 

Jake Pruchniak picked up the win, giving up one run on one hit while striking out four in three innings of work. 

Christian Mueller took the loss, pitching four innings, giving up six runs on six hits while striking out three. 


Madison 4, Lake Norden 3 

MADISON — Madison picked up the walk-off win over Lake Norden on Tuesday. 

Jovi Wolf led Madison at the plate with two hits including a single in the bottom of the seventh that gave Madison the win. 

Lucas Johnson allowed three runs on four hits while striking out three in three innings of work for Madison. 


Parkston 7, Tabor 5 

TABOR — Maddux Brissette’s second inning home run helped power Parkston to a win over Tabor on Tuesday. 

Caden Donahue led Parkston at the plate with three hits while Carter Sommer had two hits. 

Riley Rothschadl, Lane Schmidt and Easton Mudder each had a hit to lead Tabor.
