LAS VEGAS — Letcher’s Mason Moody had his best bull ride of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo on Dec. 11. 

The first-year NFR qualifier scored an 89.5 on the bull Peanut, pocketing $28,980 and recorded the second-best score of Round 8. 

Moody is currently sitting eighth in the average, with a 261.25 on three covered bulls. 

Also in Round 8, Sturgis’ Levi Lord and his partner Dustin Equsquiza had the third-best time in the team roping, earning $21,882. Lord and Equsquiza are currently eighth in the average (39.2 seconds).

Oelrichs barrel racer Lisa Lockhart, who is making her 19th NFR appearance, is sitting 10th in the average (129.44).
