BOX ELDER — Little Wound’s Jaida Jacobs captured the 2025 Lakota Nation Invitational girls golf tournament on Tuesday.

Jacobs carded a 93 at Box Elder’s Prairie Ridge Golf Course, finishing seven shots ahead of second-place Sarayah Weston (100) of Mahpiya Luta. 

Jacobs shot a 47 on the front nine and a 46 on the back nine. After Weston’s second-place finish, Bennett County’s Sophia May (102) placed third. 

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte’s Isabelle Ganje (104) and Lakota Tech’s Aubrey Peil (105) rounded the top-five finishers. 

Pine Ridge (365) won the team title. Lakota Tech (374) and Todd County (449) placed second and third, respectively. Crow Creek (504) finished in fourth place. 

Team scores: 1. Pine Ridge, 365; 2. Lakota Tech, 374; 3. Todd County, 449; 4. Crow Creek, 504.
