Iroquois/Lake Preston 51, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 48

LAKE PRESTON — Lucas Peskey dropped 23 points as Iroquois/Lake Preston surged past Oldham-Ramona/Rutland in Region 2B boys basketball action Monday.

Peskey scored 23 points, including 21 points in the second half in the win, Brycen Blue and Carter Arbeiter each added seven points while Ervin Carter scored six points in the win.

For ORR, Brodie Albertson led with 21 points, Boyd Pooler tallied 19 points while Brennon Bickett netted seven points in the loss.

Avon 63, Alcester-Hudson 60 (OT)

ALCESTER — Avon outlasted Alcester-Hudson in an overtime Region 4B boys basketball game on Monday. 

Avon’s Zander Fathke finished with 24 points, eight rebounds, seven steals and five assists. Al’Shamon Gunter totaled 23 points and 13 boards. Dominic Doom added 10 points and four rebounds. Grayson Ratzlaff had five points and five boards. 

For AH, Evan Haak scored 14 points and Cole Ahart added 13 points. Izzac Sommervold recorded 10 points and Tommy Walth scored seven points. Andrew Bovill added five points. 

Bennett County 78, Oelrichs 37

MARTIN — Bennett County coasted past Oelrichs for a Region 7B boys basketball win on Monday.

Rush O’Neill finished with 18 points and Caysen Soderlin added 15 points. Desmond Curry had 11 points. Ryker Heath and Kade Harris scored 10 points apiece. Jace Harris scored eight points and Lijah Broken Rope had five points. 

For Oelrichs, Kaeton Bear Runner scored 19 points and Cassius Blacksmith added eight points.
