REDFIELD — Northwestern’s Elle Boekelheide won the girls race and Dupree’s Tayshaun Cudmore the boys race at Thursday’s Redfield Pheasant Invitational at the Fisher Grove State Park. 

The James Valley Christian girls won the team title with 17 points, ahead of Deuel 21 and Clark/Willow Lake (26). Potter County (35) and Aberdeen Roncalli (47) rounded out the top five teams. 

The Deuel boys and James Valley Christian boys tied for the team cross country title at Thursday’s Redfeld Invitational with 30 points, while Frederick Areas was second with (31).   Dupree (32) and Faulkton Area, 49 rounded out the top five teams
