EMERY — No. 7 seed Sioux Falls Lutheran topped No. 2 seed Bridgewater-Emery in Region 3B volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 19-25, 25-18 and 25-22. 

North Central 3, Faulkton Area 1

EUREKA — North Central defeated Faulkton Area in four sets during Region 6B volleyball action. The set scores were 15-25, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-17.

NC’s Amree Vander Vorst tallied 19 kills and 20 digs, Ella Batie had nine kills and six digs, Lindsey Geier recorded nine kills and 15 digs, Camryn Witlock dished out 25 assists and had 13 digs, Alaina Dosch tallied 19 digs while Ashton Heyne recorded seven kills in the win.

Sioux Valley 3, Florence/Henry 1

VOLGA — Sioux Valley defeated Florence/Henry in four sets in Region 2A volleyball action Tuesday. The set scores were 25-19, 25-13, 23-25 and 25-19.

SV’s Lacey Langland had 14 kills, Maci Licht totaled 11 kills, while Emma Gorgin and Abygale Degen each had eight kills. Machaela Gerasch dished out 27 assists while McKinley Schwab added 14 assists and 15 digs. Talya Vincent had 20 digs, Caitlin Russell recorded 16 digs while Liberty Trystad had 12 digs in the win.

For FH, Rowan Raymer had eight kills and 18 digs, Rebecca Fleming tallied six kills and four digs, Ana Byer dished out 24 assists and had 13 digs, Addison Byer tallied 17 digs while Elizabeth Reiter and Lucy Bloom each had four kills in the loss.

Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Waubay/Summit 0

TULARE — Hitchcock-Tulare swept Waubay/Summit during Tuesday’s Region 1B volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-14 and 25-14.

HT’s Cora Hofer had seven kills, Rebecca Huizenga tallied eight kills and two blocks, Gracyn Bixler dished out 21 assists, three aces and eight digs while Cambree Hoekman had three aces in the win.

For WS, Addison Heinje tallied 10 kills and 11 digs, Mackenzie Zubke had two kills, Caley Boik dished out 12 assists and seven digs while Liza Purdy recorded one block in the loss.

MELLETTE — Northwestern swept Leola/Frederick Area in Region 1B volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-10, 25-11 and 25-9.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven finished with 14 kills, 13 digs and three blocks. Breelyn Satter added seven kills and two blocks. Taylor Vetter posted seven kills and two blocks. Ella Boekelheide had 30 assists and three aces. Tara Blachford posted three aces and nine digs. Lila Johnson had four assists and eight digs. Sophia Troske had four aces. 

For LFA, Stella Rath totaled three kills. Kaitlyn Mueller had two kills and 16 digs. Eden Podoll added three assists. Kalyce Achen had eight digs and Karli Achen had seven digs.

BURKE — Burke swept Andes Central/Dakota Christian in Region 5B volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-14, 25-12 and 25-10.

Burke’s Emmie Hausmann finished with 12 kills, seven digs and one block. Emily Diekmann posted eight kills and two blocks. Brianna Davis recorded six kills and five aces. Kyrie Matucha posted 11 digs and three aces. Emmy Spencer posted four digs, one block and 31 assists. 

For ACDC, Lily Muckey recorded two kills and one ace. Audrey DeHaan had one kill and one block. Zintkana Irving had nine digs and Sophia Nelson posted five digs.

BURKE — Gregory defeated Lyman in Region 5B volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-9, 26-24, 25-23 and 25-11.

Ethan’s Marissa Storm recorded 18 digs, 15 kills, three blocks and two aces. Rachel Klock totaled 10 kills. Taziah Hawkins added 26 assists and 16 digs. Mya Storm posted three aces.
