Pierre 3, Sioux Falls Lincoln 0

SIOUX FALLS — Pierre swept Sioux Falls Lincoln to win the Class AA consolation championship on Saturday. The set scores were 

Pierre’s Ayvrie Kaiser led with 19 kills and 11 digs, while Lily Sanchez had 10 kills and 18 assists. Remington Price led with 11 digs, while Aleise Christopherson led with 22 assists. Reese Terwilliger and Campbell Boddicker each had five kills. 

Sioux Falls Lincoln was led by Nyareal Kutey and Linnea Nesheim with eight kills apiece. Sophia Siegel had six kills and seven digs, while Hadlie Groen had five kills. Samantha Zeeck had 27 assists and six digs, while Claire Brown had six digs.


Huron 3, Rapid City Stevens 0

SIOUX FALLS — Huron swept Rapid City Stevens to secure a seventh place finish at the Class A state volleyball tournament on Saturday. The set scores were 25-23, 25-19, and 25-14.

Huron’s Brynn Gose led with 14 kills, while Karsyn Kopfmann had seven kills. Heavan Gainey and Isabelle Ellwein had six and five kills, respectively. Bryn Huber had 29 digs, while Hamtyn Heinz had 15 digs and 28 assists. Olivia Rink added 11 digs.

Rapid City Stevens was led by Caelyn Harmon with 10 kills, nine digs, and 12 assists. Macey Wathen tallied nine kills and nine digs, while Sydney Wathen led with 32 digs. Brienna Brewer had 16 digs, while Isabell Higgins had 13 assists.


Northwestern 3, Castlewood 0

SIOUX FALLS — Northwestern swept Castlewood to win the Class B consolation championship on Saturday. The set scores were 25-23, 25-13 and 25-11. 

Northwestern was led by Ella Haven who finished with 29 kills and seven digs. Brooklinn Halvorson finished with 40 assists, 13 digs and six kills. Ella Boekelheide had 17 digs and four aces and Ashley Haven had 15 digs and 13 kills. 

Castlewood’s Presley Knecht had eight kills and seven digs. Gracie Haug added 23 assists and 11 digs. Mackenzie Everson logged seven kills and 13 digs. Madeline Horn posted six kills and eight digs. Kailyn Larson logged 11 digs. 


Colman-Egan 3, Freeman 1

SIOUX FALLS — Colman-Egan picked up a four-set win over Freeman to earn a seventh place finish at the Class B state volleyball tournament on Saturday. The set scores were 17-25, 25-22, 25-20, and 25-16.

Colman-Egan was led by Brynlee Landis with 12 kills, while Berkley Groos and Daniela Lee each tallied nine kills and 14 digs apiece. Elaina Rhode and Kadance Landis each had nine kills, while Landis added eight digs. Lanie Mousel had 35 assists and 10 digs, while Kaylee Voelker and Presley Luze added 15 and 13 digs, respectively.

Freeman’s Kate Miller led with 11 kills and 11 digs, while Erin Uecker had eight kills and 25 digs. Zenovia Butler logged seven kills and 10 digs, while Ashlin Jacobsen had six kills and 18 digs. Cami Fransen had 23 assists and 17 digs, while Emily Mendel added 13 digs.


Dakota Valley 3, Platte-Geddes 2

SIOUX FALLS — Dakota Valley defeated Platte-Geddes in five-sets to win the Class B consolation championship on Saturday. The set scores were 23-25, 25-17, 25-17, 17-25 and 15-9. 

Dakota Valley’s Sophie Tuttle led with 21 kills and 18 digs, while Jorja Van Den Hul had 15 kills and six digs. Kate VanRooyan had a team leading 35 digs and Logan Miller finished with 47 assists and 12 digs. Addison Kleis had seven kills and five blocks, while Reagan VanRooyan tallied 15 digs. 

Platte-Geddes was led by Karly VanDerWerff with 21 kills and 23 digs, while Cadence Van Zee had 14 kills and 16 digs. Regan Hoffman had 11 kills, 16 digs, and three aces. Avery DeVries tallied 36 assists and 29 digs, while Hadley Hanson and Baleigh Nachtigal added 13 and 12 digs, respectively.


Wagner 3, Belle Fourche 1

SIOUX FALLS — Wagner picked up a four-set win over Belle Fourche to secure a seventh place finish at the Class A state volleyball tournament on Saturday. The set scores were 25-17, 19-25, 25-20, and 25-17.

Wagner’s Emma Yost led with 20 kills and 16 digs, while Avari Bruguier had nine kills and 21 digs. Shalayn Nagel logged nine kills and 19 digs, while Macy Koupal had 43 assists, 16 digs, and five aces. Madi Knebel added 12 digs.

Belle Fourche’s Mataya Ward had 14 kills and 18 digs, while Grace Clooten and Dylan Stedillie each had six kills. Clooten added five solo blocks, while Stedillie added nine digs. Lily McCarty had 28 assists and 17 digs, while Adyrana Hovland and Chloe Crago had 15 and 13 digs, respectively.
