Mahli Abdouch is the 2024 South Dakota Miss Basketball.

The Sioux Falls O’Gorman senior girls basketball player received the honor at Sunday’s Hansen & Anderson Basketball Banquet in Sioux Falls. Abdouch is the second O’Gorman girls basketball player to receive the honor, joining Emma Ronsiek (2020). 

The award was determined by a vote of South Dakota high school basketball coaches at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season.

Abdouch, a 5-foot-8 senior guard, was a three-time Class AA all-state first-team selection. A future South Dakota State University women’s basketball player, Abdouch averaged 16.3 points, 3.5 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game for the Class AA state champs. She was also the Class AA player of the year, as selected by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association. 

She scored 1,266 career points, finishing as the 21st leading scorer in Class AA girls basketball history.
