O’Gorman, Tea Area’s Keeton Newborg capture titles at Metro Preview Golf Tourney

SIOUX FALLS — O’Gorman claimed team honors at the Metro Preview Golf Tournament at Willow Run Golf Course on Tuesday. The Knights won with a score of 296, 17 shots ahead of Sioux Falls Lincoln (313). Harrisburg scored a 315 for third place, while Sioux Falls Jefferson (322) and Tea Area (325) rounded out the top five.

Individually, Tea Area’s Keeton Newborg captured the title with a score of 69. O’Gorman’s Taten Mauney finished three strokes behind (72) for second place, while O’Gorman’s Mac Drake and Harrisburg’s Hayden Scott tied for third with a 73. O’Gorman’s Radley Mauney rounded out the top five with a score of 74.
