O’Gorman wins team title, Harrisburg’s Christensen wins individual award at Metro Boys Conference Championship

BRANDON — The O’Gorman Knights boys golf team captured the team title at the Metro Conference Championship on Tuesday.

The Knights finished with a score 295, three strokes ahead of runner-up Harrisburg (298). Sioux Falls Lincoln placed third with a score of 316, while Sioux Falls Jefferson took fourth place with a score of 326. Brandon Valley rounded out the top-five with a score of 332.

Individually, Harrisburg’s Riley Christensen won the title with a score of 70. O’Gorman’s Radley Mauney (72), Taten Mauney (73), and Will Hurd (74) placed second, third, and fourth, respectively.  Six players tied for fifth place with a score of 76, including O’Gorman’s Mac Drake, Sioux Falls Lincoln’s Jack Hilgenberg and Adam Knigge, and Harrisburg’s Hayden Scott, Charlie Swift, and Will Parsons.
