Burke 3, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 0

BURKE — Class B No. 3 Burke swept Andes Central/Dakota Christian in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-10 and 25-8.

Burke’s Adisyn Indahl recorded 11 kills, four digs, two assists and six aces. Kailee Frank added nine kills and seven digs. Paige Bull posted four kills and two blocks. Savannah Geaghan had three aces, while Elle Johnson had two aces and 10 digs. Elly Witt and Ava Sargent had 15 and nine assists, respectively. 

ACDC’s Abigail Svatos, Claire Johnson and Mahpiyah Irving had two kills apiece. Johnson posted nine digs, while Nevaeh Morgan and Josie Brouwer had four digs apiece. Svatos and Halle Olson had three and two blocks, respectively. Brouwer and Irving had five and four assists, respectively. Brouwer had an ace. 

 



Miller 3, Platte-Geddes 0

MILLER — Miller swept Class A No. 5 Platte-Geddes in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 27-25 and 25-20.

Miller’s Jaden Werdel put down 12 kills, 10 digs and had a block assist. Ally Mullaney posted nine kills, while Tricia Lammers added six kills. Abbi Blake recorded five kills, while Jolie Palmer posted 19 digs. Tyra Gates logged 31 assists and 15 digs. Shaylee Anderberg had nine digs. 

Platte-Geddes stats were not reported. 


Wagner 3, Parkston 0 

WAGNER — Class A No. 3 Wagner swept Parkston in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-18 and 25-21.

Wagner’s Avari Bruguier recorded 13 kills, 12 digs and five aces. Shalayne Nagel logged nine kills and four blocks. Emma Yost and Shona Kocer had eight kills apiece. Yost added 16 digs, while Madi Knebel and Macy Koupal had 12 digs apiece. Koupal dished out 37 assists, while Kya Kjeldgaard had three blocks. Knebel posted three aces. 

Parkston’s Mya Nuebel finished with 13 kills, eight digs and three blocks. Faith Oakley and Mya Thuninger finished with five kills apiece. Oakley had nine digs, while Lauren Ziebart and Mya Nuebel had eight digs apiece. Nuebel finished with three blocks. Oakley dished out 19 assists and Gracie Oakley had an ace. 


Chester Area 3, West Central 0 

HARTFORD — Class B No. 2 Chester Area swept West Central for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-13, 25-18, and 25-15.

West Central’s Aubree Miller finished with eight kills and four assists, while Marissa Dobbs logged four kills and one block. Jocelyn Nilson tallied 20 digs, while Landry Heath had 15 digs. Ellie Lienhard had 12 assists, while Kaia Gabbert added three aces and one block.

Chester Area stats were not reported.


Canton 3, Parker 0 

PARKER — Class A No. 4 Canton swept Parker in a high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-9, and 25-13.

Canton’s Macy Plucker tallied 10 kills and four blocks, while Jenna Vande Weerd had four kills, eight blocks, and five aces. Landree Meister logged three kills and 19 assists, while Fallan Lundstrom had 21 digs and three aces. Carlee Laubach added 14 digs.

Parker’s Halle Berens had six kills and 10 digs, while Terryn Fuller had five assists. Aspen Rand added seven digs.


Viborg-Hurley 3, Freeman Academy/Marion 0

VIBORG — Viborg-Hurley swept Freeman Academy/Marion in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-15, 25-17, and 25-17.

Viborg-Hurley was led by Coral Mason with 20 kills, 18 digs, and two aces, while Denae Mach tallied nine kills and two blocks. Estelle Lee had five kills, 11 digs, and two aces, while Mataya Vannorsdel had 33 assists. Charley Nelson and Jenna Graves added 19 and 11 digs, respectively.

Freeman Academy/Marion stats were not reported.


Colman-Egan 3, Bridgewater-Emery 0

COLMAN — Colman-Egan swept Bridgewater-Emery in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-14 and 25-15.

Colman-Egan’s Elaina Rhode recorded nine kills and one solo block. Berkley Groos and Daniela Lee had seven kills apiece. Lee added two solo blocks. Ava Mousel and Lanie Mousel finished with 14 and 12 assists, respectively. Lanie Mousel added 14 digs, while Groos had 11 digs. Abby Rhode had three solo blocks, while Kaylee Voelker finished with two aces. Presley Luze had 10 digs. 

BE’s Lexi Golder had six kills, while Oakley Weber finished with nine digs, four kills, four assists and two aces. Hayden Hofer logged six assists and 11 digs. Kennedie Roskens and Claire Kayser had 17 and nine digs, respectively. 

Aberdeen Roncalli 3, Mobridge-Pollock 1

MOBRIDGE — Aberdeen Roncalli picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Mobridge-Pollock on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-20, 16-25, 25-17, and 25-16.

Aberdeen Roncalli’s Ava Hanson led with 13 kills and one ace, while Ella Hanson logged nine kills, three blocks, and two aces. Camryn Bain led with 44 digs, while Maddie Huber and Faith Danielson added 21 and 10 digs, respectively.

Mobridge-Pollock was led by Mariah Goehring, Emma Keller, and Charley Henderson with five kills apiece. Reagan Weisbeck and Raelyn Aberle added 18 and 11 digs, respectively.


Wilmot 3, Waubay/Summit 1

WILMOT — Wilmot earned a four-set high school volleyball win over Waubay/Summit on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-20, 21-25, 25-17, and 25-9.

Wilmot’s Paige Johnson and Kayla Hamman logged eight and six kills, respectively. Ashlyn Ebben led with four aces, while Addison Heinje and Stacia Redday had two aces apiece. Mis Foss and Adrienne High Eagle each had 15 digs.

Waubay/Summit stats were not reported. 

 



Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Iroquois/Lake Preston 2

WOONSOCKET — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket outlasted Iroquois/Lake Preston in five sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-20, 19-25, 23-25, 25-20, and 16-14.

SCW’s Kenna Ochsner led with 13 kills, 14 digs, and three aces, while Kam Ochsner tallied 10 kills, 16 digs, and four aces. Liz Boschee logged 10 kills and four blocks, while Bailey Feistner and Kenlie Fridley added 16 and 13 assists, respectively.

ILP’s Adison Moore tallied eight kills and 19 digs, while Anna Decker had seven kills, three aces, and two blocks. Faith Steffensen logged seven kills, while Ava Malone had 20 digs. Rebecca Bich had 23 assists and two aces, while Trinity Pirlet had 10 assists and four aces.

 

Wolsey-Wessington 3, Highmore-Harrold 0

HIGHMORE — Class B No. 5 Wolsey-Wessington swept Highmore-Harrold in straight sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-4, 25-20, and 25-8.

Wolsey-Wessington was led by Mallory Miller with 12 kills, while Mya Boomsma tallied 10 kills. Lainey Uttecht logged 17 digs and two aces, while Leah Williams had 13 digs. Taylor Horn logged 32 assists, while Emree White had three aces. Kailynn Dorris added two blocks.

Highmore-Harrold’s Brooke Palmer had three kills and 13 digs, while Addison McDonnell also had three kills. Brooklyn Baloun recorded 13 digs and 10 assists.


Wessington Springs 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0

MILLER — Wessington Springs swept Sunshine Bible Academy in straight sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-5, 25-6, and 25-7.

Wessington Springs was led by Carissa Scheel and Avery Orth with seven kills apiece. Sarah Poncelow tallied six kills, while Alyssa Grohs had 21 assists and three aces. Raylee Fagerhaug and Ashlyn Weber recorded 15 and 10 digs, respectively. Hannah Heezen added three aces.

SBA was led by Sadie Konechne with three kills and two digs, while Betra Amare had two digs and one assist.


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 3, Marty 0 

TRIPP — Tripp-Delmont/Armour swept Marty in a high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-3, 25-8, and 25-13.

TDA’s Megan Reiner tallied nine kills, while Gracey Schatz logged eight kills and seven digs. Mia Reiner had eight aces. Morgan Gemar had 15 assists, while Faith Goehring added nine aces.

Marty stats were not reported.

 



Sioux Valley 3, Arlington 0 

VOLGA — Sioux Valley swept Arlington in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-21, 25-23 and 26-24.

Sioux Valley’s Landree Wilson finished with 13 kills and 13 digs. Kaedyn Sapp logged 11 kills and 20 digs. Ashley Bjerke recorded 21 assists, nine kills and 10 digs. Adison Renkly added seven kills, eight digs and three block assists. Talya Vincent recorded 27 digs, while Sunny Hesby had 15 digs and 20 assists.

Arlington’s Addi Steffensen finished with 15 kills and 21 digs. Morgan Larsen added nine kills and nine digs. Harley Johnson posted eight kills and 23 digs. Tanaya Weiss logged 15 digs and 33 assists. Madalynn Bacon posted 13 digs. 


Dell Rapids 3, Deubrook Area 0 

WHITE — Dell Rapids took down Deubrook Area in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-19, 25-21 and 25-14.

Dell Rapids’ Madelynn Henry finished with 16 kills, while Kylee Fiddelke logged nine kills and two aces. Clara Justice recorded eight kills and Lauryn Kloth posted six kills. Kloth added two aces. Sophi Randall recorded 39 assists, 2 1/2 blocks and three aces. Alaina Wolff and Lexi Ingalls had 15 and 11 digs, respectively. 

Deubrook Area’s Miranda Moravetz finished with five kills, while Skyla Petersen and Zoey Molengraaf had four kills apiece. Delaney Pedersen had 15 digs, while Ellie Koenig and Brooke Koppataschek had five assists apiece. 


Elkton-Lake Benton 3, Deuel 0

LAKE BENTON, MINN. — Elkton-Lake Benton swept Deuel in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-9, 25-16, and 25-16.

Elkton-Lake Benton was led by Kailyn Drietz with seven kills and five digs, while Rachael Krog had six kills and six digs. Andrea Renkly had six kills and three digs, while Tevan Erickson logged 23 assists and six aces. Kayla Goertz added eight digs.

Deuel’s Josie Andersen recorded four kills, five digs, five assists, and two aces. Kaitlyn Gubrud and Annika Kriz added seven and six digs, respectively.


Sioux Falls Christian 3, Tri-Valley 0

SIOUX FALLS — Class A No. 1 Sioux Falls Christian swept Tri-Valley in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-1, and 25-10.

SFC was led by Ellie Lems with eight kills, four digs, and three blocks, while Sidney Oostra had seven kills and six digs. Addisen Barber tallied 21 assists, eight digs, and five aces, while Peyton Poppema had five kills, three digs, and two aces. 

Tri-Valley was led by Lauren Grinde, Maddie Wenzel, and Megan Wenzel with three kills apiece. Brookelyn Stieben had nine digs and eight assists.


Madison 3, Milbank 0

MILBANK — Madison swept Milbank in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-21 and 25-22.

Madison’s Amanda Vacanti finished with 12 kills, 12 assists, 10 digs and six aces. Audrey Nelson added seven kills, 10 digs, one ace and two solo blocks. Karley Theede added 14 assists, while Maycee Theede had 10 digs. Ellie Osthus and Karley Lurz each had solo blocks. 

Milbank’s Rachel Schulte recorded seven kills and 17 digs, while Averie Engebretson posted four kills, 15 assists and two aces. Hallie Schulte had 14 digs and Emily Wollschlager finished with 11 digs. Riley Overby and Addisyn Krause had four and three aces, respectively. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 3, South Sioux City (Neb.) 

ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson swept South Sioux City, Neb. for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-18, 25-17, and 25-17.

Elk Point-Jefferson was led by Danica Torrez with 12 kills, four digs, and two aces, while Bentlee Kollbaum and Natalie Heuertz had nine kills apiece. Alyssa Chytka had 25 digs, while Katelyn VanRoekel had nine digs. Hannah Nearman had eight digs, while Sophia Giorgio added 20 assists and 13 digs.


Harrisburg 3, Pierre 0

HARRISBURG — Class AA No. 3 Harrisburg swept Pierre in a high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 25-23, and 25-20.

Harrisburg was led by Gabrielle Zachariasen with 13 kills and two blocks, while Morissen Samuels had 13 kills and two aces. Maggie Meister had 29 digs and two aces, while Kaelyn Snoozy had 13 digs. Kayleigh Hybertson added 36 assists.

Pierre’s Ayvrie Kaiser had 10 kills, while Reese Terwilliger had eight kills. Remington Price had 12 digs, while Aleise Christopherson tallied 14 assists. Dani Beck recorded four blocks, while Lily Sanchez added two aces.


Sioux Falls Jefferson 3, Mitchell 0 

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 4 Sioux Falls Jefferson swept Mitchell in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-16, and 25-23.

Sioux Falls Jefferson was led by Maddie Paulsen and Ella Kvernmo with nine kills each. Emory Brosnahan tallied seven kills, while Presly Pastian logged 21 assists and seven digs. Anna Halvorson had 11 digs and three aces, while Cora Hokenstad had nine digs. Averi Schmitt added 11 assists.
