Rapid City Stevens 3, Douglas 0 

BOX ELDER — Rapid City Stevens swept Douglas in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-6, 25-10 and 25-21. 

 

Parkston 3, Wagner 2

PARKSTON — Parkston outlasted Wagner in a five-set thriller Tuesday night. The set scores were 25-23, 21-25, 25-18, 20-25 and 15-4.

Parkston’s stats were not reported.

Wagner’s Hannah Holzbauer had 15 kills and 19 digs, Ravyn Medricky added 15 kills, three blocks and an ace, Libby Kotab recorded 25 digs and three aces, Hayden Knudsen totaled 18 digs while Braxton Nedved dished out 37 assists, adding two blocks in the loss.


Hamlin 3, De Smet 1

HAYTI — Hamlin defeated De Smet in four sets in Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 20-25, 25-11 and 25-13.

Hamlin’s Jade Thue had 18 kills, Addie Neuendorf recorded 11 kills and seven digs, Kayde Nebel had seven kills and two blocks, Issie Steffenson dished out 44 assists and had eight digs, Ella Smith recorded four aces while Jayci Trowbridge and Maddy Jutting each had three aces in the win.

For DS, Hazel Luethmers recorded 16 kills, two blocks and an ace, Ivey Schoenfelder had five kills and an ace, Brooke Jennings recorded four kills, Megan Dylla had 23 assists, three aces and eight digs while Gemma Luethmers and Audi Currier each had four digs in the loss.


Chester Area 3, West Central 0

CHESTER — Class B No. 1 Chester Area swept West Central in straight sets Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 25-15 and 25-16.

CA’s Jacy Wolf had 10 kills and 15 digs, Lily Van Hal added 10 kills, 11 assists and four aces while Gracie Huntimer had 14 digs in the win.

WC’s Ella Harden tallied 13 kills, Cambree Ideker recorded 25 assists and seven digs, Sophia Gross added three blocks, Ellie Knight also had seven digs while Jordyn Phillips collected four aces in the loss.


Winner 3, Chamberlain 0

WINNER — Winner swept Chamberlain in Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-14, 25-13 and 25-11.

Winner’s Livvy Audiss had 12 kills, 12 digs and three aces, Payton Sargent totaled six kills and four blocks while Gracie Root had 28 assists and 15 digs in the win.

For Chamberlain, Jovie VanDenBosch had five kills and 11 digs, Jayde McQuirk collected eight assists and two aces, Maisy Peterson and Natalie Nelson each had two blocks while Nicole Schmiedt added 11 digs in the loss.


Dell Rapids St. Mary 3, Centerville 2

CENTERVILLE — Dell Rapids St. Mary outlasted Centerville in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-27, 25-13, 18-25, 25-16 and 17-15.

DRSM’s Emersyn Herber finished with 13 kills, four blocks and 13 digs. Maddyn LeBrun posted 11 kills, 32 digs and two blocks. Harper Werdel added 10 kills and 40 digs. Stephanie Geraets had 10 kills. Natalie Gilbert posted 33 assists and six aces. Layla Hanson posted 35 digs. Madelyn Klein had 13 assists. Paige Geraets posted two aces.

For Centerville, Izzie Eide totaled nine kills and 10 digs. Lillee Shearer had seven kills and five digs. Ella Ruter posted six kills and eight digs. Ashlyn Hagena posted eight kills, five blocks and two digs. Tessa Eide added 33 digs. Hailey Childress posted 25 assists and 11 digs. Lydia Austin had 14 digs and Brea Austin had 11 digs. Emmarie Anderson posted five digs and two blocks. 


Miller 3, Platte-Geddes 0 

PLATTE — Miller swept Platte-Geddes in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 26-24, 25-19 and 25-21.

Miller’s Kate Lichty posted eight kills. Paige Werdel added seven kills, four digs and one ace. Hailey Werdel tallied five kills. Kaihlyn Anderberg had four kills, five digs and one ace. Emma Pugh and Jolie Palmer posted two aces apiece. Palmer added 12 digs and Pugh posted six digs. Gracen Werdel had 27 assists.

Platte-Geddes stats were not reported.


Avon 3, Viborg-Hurley 0

AVON — Avon swept Viborg-Hurley in Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-14 and 25-14.

Avon’s Rilyn Thury had 16 kills and 13 digs, Jordyn Voigt collected 16 digs, Kaydence Metzger had 10 kills and four aces while Brielle Voigt totaled 27 assists and three aces in the win.

VH’s Ava Marts collected two kills, Olviia Hanson had seven digs while Lexie Wetering added three assists and three aces in the loss.


Aberdeen Roncalli 3, Mobridge-Pollock 0

ABERDEEN — Aberdeen Roncalli swept Mobridge-Pollock in Tuesday’s high school volleyball  action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-9 and 25-12.

Roncalli’s stats were not reported.

MP’s Jayda Thompson had three kills, Blake Thompson had nine kills, Tegan Konold totaled seven digs while Jersey Frederick had six digs. Ellie Kemnitz led the team in assists with five in the loss.


Dakota Valley 3, Lennox 0

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Class A No. 1 Dakota Valley swept Class A No. 5 Lennox during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-13 and 25-19.

DV’s Claire Munch had 17 kills and seven digs, Sammy Kimbell and Skylar Anderson each had five kills, Maddie Munch recorded 32 assists, Corine Kimbell had 17 digs and three aces while Taylor Piel had seven digs in the win.

Lennox’s stats were not reported.


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 3, Marty 0

MARTY — Tripp-Delmont/Armour swept Marty in Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-13 and 25-11.

TDA’s Mia Reiner had nine kills, three aces and two digs, Sara Bertram had five kills and four digs, Ryenn Loneman recorded six digs and four kills, Lea Dewald collected eight digs and three aces while Kinley Spaans totaled 23 assists, nine digs and four aces in the win.

TULARE — Hitchcock-Tulare swept Langford Area in Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-9, and 25-19.

HT’s Rebecca Huizenga had 12 kills, Cora Hofer totaled 12 kills and three blocks, Gracyn Bixler netted 24 assists and two aces, Cambree Hoekman collected 14 digs and two aces, Emmerie Arthurs tallied 10 digs while Tess Bixler had three blocks in the win as well.

For LA, Emily Olson had five kills, Lizzie Gustafson tallied two kills, Paytyn Marlow had six assists and 16 digs while Alex Darling recorded 12 digs in the loss.


Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 3, Iroquois/Lake Preston 1

IROQUOIS — Sanborn Central-Woonsocket defeated Iroquois-Lake Preston in four sets Tuesday. The set scores were 25-10, 25-17, 16-25 and 25-16.

SCW’s Liz Boschee had 15 kills and a block, Addison Bartholow added 19 kills, 31 digs and four aces, Kali Hofer dished out 15 assists, Addy Baruth recorded eight assists and two aces, Hudson Fouberg recorded 21 digs while Cami Edwards had three aces and a block in the win.

For ILP, Hadlee Holt had eight kills and 27 digs, Sydney Bonomi recorded 19 assists, Natalie Cundy had six kills and seven blocks while Alise Hope and Madisen Steffensen each had 12 digs in the loss.


Warner 3, Redfield 0

REDFIELD — Class B No. 3 Warner swept Redfield in straight sets during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-17 and 25-16.

Warner’s Makenna Leidholt had 13 kills and three assists, Jaycee Jung tallied 11 kills, three blocks, 19 digs and two aces, Miah Leidholdt had eight kills, Reagan Wood dished out 19 assists and two aces while Tatum Hanson added 16 assists in the win.

For Redfield, Hayden Gall had five kills, six assists and two aces, Charli Jungwirth totaled four kills while Layla Hardie added five assists in the loss.


Elkton-Lake Benton 3, Deuel 0

CLEAR LAKE — Elkton-Lake Benton swept Deuel in straight sets during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-17 and 25-16.

ELB’s Charlie Thooft had 10 kills, two blocks and an ace, Sydney DeVries recorded five kills, Madde Jensen added five kills, Malyha Slegers tallied 13 assists and two digs, Payton Kuehl had nine assists while Quinn Slegers recorded nine digs and two aces in the win.

For Deuel, Lauryn Peterreins had 12 kills, six digs and an ace, Alayna Carlson recorded three kills, Claryssa Hanson had three kills and two blocks, Gracyn Gohring totaled 10 assists and seven digs, Ella Kerkvliet tallied 17 digs while Braylin Kreger had eight assists in the loss.


Madison 3, Milbank 0 

MILBANK — Madison swept Milbank in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-23, 25-17 and 25-9.

Madison’s Lydia Nelson finished with 13 kills, six digs and two blocks. Jaya Engels added 13 kills, four aces and six digs. Karley Theede totaled 36 assists. Macie Rinehart had two aces. Ella Malone added nine digs. Mara Klingbile had six digs. Collins Nielsen and Theede each had blocks.

For Milbank, Adison Pauli had five kills and 10 digs. Zora Henrich added four kills and three aces. Avery Shuneman totaled one block, 10 assists, seven digs and two aces. Jacy Dexter posted nine digs. Kenzie Kooima had a block. 


Sioux Falls Christian 3, Jackson County Central (Minn.) 0

SIOUX FALLS — Class A No. 3 Sioux Falls Christian swept Jackson County Central, Minnesota, in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-14 and 25-18.

Sioux Falls Christian’s Camdyn Mulder finished with 12 kills and three digs. Jayla Overman added three blocks, nine kills and 10 digs. Ella Fluth posted eight kills and seven digs. Allyra Dorhout had five kills and four blocks. Kinzie Poppema added three kills and three blocks. Meredith Nelson posted seven digs and 35 assists. Aubrie Van Beek posted 14 digs.
