Platte-Geddes 3, Chamberlain 1 

CHAMBERLAIN — Platte-Geddes topped Chamberlain in a four-set high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 24-26, 25-20, 25-15 and 25-22.

Platte-Geddes’ Kori VanDerWerff finished with 24 kills and 18 digs. Ava Olson posted 10 kills and 13 digs. Claire Maydew posted five kills. Kolbi Hoffman totaled 34 assists. Taylor Shrank had six aces and 12 digs. Mallory Gant added two aces.

Chamberlain stats were not reported.

Avon 3, Centerville 2

CENTERVILLE — Avon outlasted Centerville in a five-set thriller in Thursday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-20, 21-25, 18-25 and 15-13.

Avon’s Rilyn Thury had 28 kills and 29 digs, Bree Vanderlei and Raegan Brandt each had seven kills,  Brielle Voigt recorded 46 assists and 27 digs, Jordyn Voigt had 21 digs, Lexi Vanderlei netted 18 digs and two aces while Kaydence Metzger recorded five kills and 20 digs in the win.

For Centerville, Izzie Eide had 10 kills, 10 blocks and two digs, Tessa Eide recorded 63 digs, Lillee Shearer had nine kills, Lydia Austin had 36 digs, Ashlyn Hagena recorded eight kills and 10 blocks, Haley Childress dished out 31 assists and had four digs while Brea Austin recorded 15 digs in the loss.

Wagner 3, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 0

WAGNER — Wagner swept Andes Central/Dakota Christian in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-6, 25-11 and 25-18. 

Wagner’s Hannah Holzbauer finished with 10 kills and five digs. Ravyn Medricky added nine kills, one block and five digs. Mateya Bruguier totaled seven digs. Libby Kotab had six digs. Braxton Nedved finished with 28 assists and two blocks. 

For ACDC, Lily Muckey posted five kills, three digs and one ace. Callie Bergin totaled six digs. Gracie Ronfeldt finished with two aces. Audrey DeHaan added two blocks. 

Northwestern 3, Gettysburg 0 

MELLETTE — Class B No. 2 Northwestern swept Gettysburg in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-6, 25-12 and 25-17.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven finished with 19 kills and two blocks. Taylor Vetter totaled seven kills. Ella Boekelheide added five kills, eight digs, 29 assists and three blocks. Sophia Troske posted five aces. Tara Blachford and Brenna Halvorson each had aces. Lila Johnson added 10 digs. Elexis Kramp posted eight digs.

For Gettysburg, Emma Schlachter finished with seven kills and one ace. Taylor Long had two kills and one ace. Finlee Heien posted five assists. Layla Cronin had an ace.

Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Ipswich 0

IPSWICH — Hitchcock-Tulare swept Ipswich in Thursday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-19 and 25-20.

HT’s Rebecca Huizenga had 12 kills, Cora Hofer added eight kills and five blocks, Gracyn Bixler recorded six kills, 28 assists and an ace, while Emmerie Arthurs led the team in digs with 15.

For Ipswich, Marley Gutmiller had eight kills, a block and an ace, Jalyssa Hutson recorded five kills, Josie Knutson tallied 20 assists while Brianna Geditz had 10 digs in the loss.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Kimball/White Lake 0 

WOONSOCKET — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket swept Kimball/White Lake in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-14 and 25-15.

SCW’s Addison Bartholow posted 15 kills, 14 digs and four aces. Liz Boschee finished with 10 kills and two digs. Kali Hofer added 15 digs and 13 assists. Hudson Fouberg posted 16 digs. Addy Baruth had 11 assists and two digs. Kenzie Baruth posted three kills and three digs. Tori Hoffman had five digs and seven assists. Cami Edwards recorded four kills and nine digs.

For KWL, Rylee McCord recorded four kills, 10 digs and two aces. Sienna Gillen recorded 20 digs and two assists. Mariah Gosmire had three blocks, five digs and nine assists. 

Colman-Egan 3, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 0

COLMAN — Colman-Egan swept Oldham-Ramona/Rutland in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-10, 25-23 and 25-12.

CE’s Brynlee Landis finished with 16 kills, while Michoen Williamson, Finley Luze and Caelee LeBrun had seven kills apiece. Luze added two aces and 19 assists. LeBrun added six digs. Harper Mousel and Hannah Grann had seven assists apiece. Mya Reiff recorded two blocks. 

For ORR, Hattie Hanson and Brookelyn Riedel totaled five kills apiece. Rylan Pearson posted six assists and three digs. Gabby Pickard had nine digs. 

Aberdeen Christian 3, Leola/Frederick Area 0

ABERDEEN — Aberdeen Christian swept Leola/Frederick Area in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-11 and 25-10.

Aberdeen Christian stats were not reported. 

LFA’s Kalyce Achen finished with three kills. Tayler Vetter added five assists and Eden Podoll posted four assists. Podoll added three kills and Kaitlyn Mueller had two kills. Mueller added 20 digs and Ashtyn Hattewick posted 11 digs. 

Chester 3, Madison 0

MADISON — Class B No. 1 Chester swept Madison in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-22, 27-25 and 25-22.

Chester’s Jacy Wolf finished with 18 kills, 20 digs, 10 assists and three aces. Lily VanHal recorded 12 kills and 14 assists. Gracie Huntimer had 18 digs. Katelyn Schut and Emilie Bleeker had two blocks apiece.

For Madison, Lydia Nelson finished with 11 kills, 11 digs, two aces and three blocks. Jaya Engels recorded 11 kills. Karley Theede posted 29 assists. Grace Nelson had two blocks. Ella Malone had four aces. Macie Rinehart totaled two aces. 

Milbank 3, Tiospa Zina 0

MILBANK — Milbank swept Tiospa Zina in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-11 and 25-14.

Milbank’s Adison Pauli finished with nine kills. Bree Townsend and Kenzie Kooima posted seven kills apiece. Avery Schuneman tallied 13 assists, three aces and five digs. Susie Schuneman added 10 assists. Jacy Dexter posted six digs and three aces. 

Tiospa Zina stats were not reported. 

Hamlin 3, Britton-Hecla 0 

HAYTI — Hamlin swept Britton-Hecla in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-12 and 25-7.

Hamlin’s Addie Neuendorf posted 13 kills, 11 digs and four aces. Jade Thue added 12 kills. Addie Jensen recorded 10 kills. Issie Steffensen recorded 40 assists, nine digs and two aces. Jayci Trowbridge recorded 17 digs and two aces. Maddy Jutting had two blocks and Kayde Nebel had one block.

For Britton-Hecla, Abby Lee finished with four kills. Jaelee Grupe added eight assists and two blocks. Karlie Zuehlke recorded two blocks and eight digs. Ava Teveldal had 25 digs. Daynika Zuehlke totaled nine digs. 

Tripp-Delmont/Armour 3, Scotland 0

TRIPP — Tripp-Delmont/Armour swept Scotland in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-10, 25-16 and 25-13.

TDA’s Mia Reiner recorded eight kills and five digs. Sara Bertram posted six kills and six digs. Lily Blaine had six kills. Kinley Spaans recorded 22 assists, four aces, two digs and one kill.

North Central 3, Wakpala 0 

WAKPALA — North Central swept Wakpala in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-7, 25-11 and 25-10.

North Central’s Amree Vander Vorst totaled 14 kills. Ella Batie totaled eight kills and two digs. Tylee Vander Vorst logged seven kills. Lindsey Geier added four kills and 13 aces. Ramey Schack and Sydnee Malsam had four digs apiece.

Wakpala stats were not reported. 

Harrisburg 3, Aberdeen Central 0 

HARRISBURG — Class AA No. 1 Harrisburg swept Aberdeen Central in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-6, 25-16 and 25-11.

Harrisburg’s Gabi Zachariasen finished with 16 kills and six aces. Bergen Stiff totaled 17 kills. Lindsay Langner had four aces and 17 digs. Kya Keegan, Stiff and Julia Masselink had two blocks apiece. Josalyn Samuels totaled 36 assists. 

For Aberdeen Central, Kamdyn Borge and Lauryn Burckhard had three kills apiece. Alivia Miller had five assists. Karlie Nieman added three blocks and Taylin Kleffman posted nine digs.
