Kimball/White Lake 3, Platte-Geddes 2

PLATTE — Kimball/White Lake clipped Platte-Geddes in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-21, 24-26, 17-25, 25-20 and 16-14.

KWL’s Brandi Surat had seven kills. Mariah Gosmire totaled 21 assists and five blocks. Sienna Gillen posted 16 digs. Kyza Johnson added six blocks.

For Platte-Geddes, Kori VanDerWerff posted 29 kills and 15 digs. Ava Olson recorded nine kills and 15 digs. Claire Maydew posted seven kills. Jerni Severson had five kills. Kolbi Hoffman posted 33 assists. 

Deuel 3, Florence-Henry 2

CLEAR LAKE — Deuel outlasted Florence-Henry in five sets during Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 24-26, 25-18, 25-21, 21-25 and 15-9.

Deuel’s Lauryn Peterreins had 17 kills, Alayan Carlson added 11 kills, Camdyn Peterreins recorded 10 kills, Gracyn Gohring had 28 assists, 13 digs and four aces, Braylin Kreger dished out 20 assists, 13 digs and two aces, Ella Kerkvliet had 34 digs and four aces while Claryssa Hanson had three blocks in the win.

For FH, Rowan Raymer tallied nine kills and three blocks, Addison Byer had seven kills and five aces, Ana Byer recorded 22 assists and two aces, Kali Hanson had 13 digs while Rebecca Flemming had 14 digs in the loss.

Wagner 3, Winner 1 

WAGNER — Wagner topped Winner in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 21-25, 25-20, 25-21 and 25-21.

Wagner’s Hannah Holzbauer finished with 20 kills and two aces. Ravyn Medricky posted 22 digs, 14 kills and eight blocks. Libby Kotab added three aces and 15 digs. Braxton Nedved totaled 16 digs and 37 assists. Mateya Bruguier posted four blocks. 

For Winner, Lilly Barfuss and Livvy Audiss posted 11 kills apiece. Alice Wilson had 16 digs and Payton Sargent totaled 13 digs. Wilson added 30 assists. Seventh Ziegler had three aces. 

Highmore-Harrold 3, Lyman 0 

HIGHMORE — Highmore-Harrold swept Lyman in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 26-24, 25-19 and 25-21.

HH’s Jada Baloun and Addison McDonnell posted eight kills apiece. McDonnell added four aces. Tenley McDonnell posted 17 digs and 10 assists. Lainee Ping posted 15 digs. Carly Stephenson added 12 assists and one ace. Emma Ferens and Jaylee Fallis totaled two blocks apiece. 

For Lyman, Jordyn Scott finished with 10 kills, nine digs and two blocks. Brooke Montgomery and Kinzie Wagner had four kills apiece. Bree Smart totaled 16 assists and three aces.

Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 0

HITCHCOCK — Hitchcock-Tulare swept Sanborn Central-Woonsocket in Tuesday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-23 and 25-20.

HT’s Rebecca Huizenga had eight kills, Cora Hofer tallied seven kills and three blocks, Emmerie Arthurs totaled seven kills, 15 digs and four aces, Gracyn Bixler added 26 assists and an ace, while Cambree Hoekman had 16 digs in the win.

For SCW, Liz Boschee tallied 12 kills, Addison Bartholow had seven kills, 17 digs and an ace, Kali Hofer added nine assists, Hudson Fouberg had 30 digs while Addy Baruth recorded 11 assists in the loss.

Northwestern 3, Groton Area 1

GROTON — Class B No. 2 Northwestern defeated Groton Area in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 21-25, 25-18, 25-20 and 25-15.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven finished with 23 kills, 13 digs, six blocks and one ace. Ella Boekelheide and Taylor Vetter posted eight kills apiece. Boekelheide totaled 35 assists. Lila Johnson recorded four aces, 21 digs and six assists. Tara Blachford posted 10 digs. Sophia Troske added 10 digs. Kylee Henjum and Breelyn Satter had four blocks apiece.

Groton Area stats were not reported.  

Wolsey-Wessington 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0

MILLER — Wolsey-Wessington swept Sunshine Bible Academy in high school volleyball action Tuesday. The set scores were 25-13, 25-3 and 25-12.

WW’s Mana Nelson had 14 kills, Timber Haeder recorded four kills while Preslie Jensen had three kills. Kendal Uttecht recorded 26 assists and six aces while Shae Uttecht added 17 digs and four aces in the win.

For SBA, Ciera Mickelson and Soliel Mickelson each tallied three kills and an ace, including 10 digs and three blocks from Ciera Mickelson. Kalyn Sarchet had four kills, Dakota Boersma added 11 digs while Tessa Hinman recorded nine digs in the loss.

Chester 3, Sioux Valley 0

VOLGA — Class B No. 1 Chester swept Sioux Valley in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-21 and 25-9.

Chester’s Emmerson Eppard and Jacy Wolf finished with 10 kills apiece. Wolf added 17 digs. Gracie Huntimer posted 14 digs. Lily Van Hal posted nine kills and 16 digs. Katelyn Schut had nine kills. Van Hal had 25 assists and Wolf had 13 assists. Van Hal posted six aces and Kaytee Wold had four aces. Emilie Bleeker posted five kills and five digs. Wolf, Van Hal and Bleeker had two blocks apiece. 

For Sioux Valley, Emma Gorvin posted five kills and seven digs. Lacey Langland totaled three blocks, five kills and six digs. Talya Vincent recorded 12 digs. Liberty Trygstad had eight digs. Macheala Gerasch dished out 11 assists and added five digs. 

Colman-Egan 3, Deubrook Area 0 

COLMAN — Colman-Egan swept Deubrook Area in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-23 and 26-24.

CE’s Brynlee Landis finished with nine aces, 10 kills and 16 digs. Caelee LeBrun totaled 13 digs and 11 kills. Micheon Williamson recorded four kills and two blocks. Mya Reiff totaled six kills and two blocks. Hannah Grann had 18 assists and Harper Mousel had 11 assists. 

For Deubrook Area, Brynlee Hanson finished with four kills and two aces. Chloe Haines recorded 10 assists and three blocks. Makenna Ekern posted 14 assists and six digs. Kylee Johnson finished with seven assists, 11 digs and two kills. Neely Gustad posted eight digs. Maddie Schulte posted seven digs. Matti Ramlo had three blocks and Peyton Trooien had five kills. 

Sioux Falls Lutheran 3, Canistota 1

SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Lutheran defeated Canistota in four sets Tuesday. The set scores were 19-25, 25-15, 25-7 and 25-20.

Canistota’s Ember Schenkel had 16 kills, four aces and 19 digs, Emma Sandman had seven kills, three aces and 17 digs, Ellie Becker recorded 24 assists and three blocks while Haley McGregor had two blocks in the loss.

Irene-Wakonda 3, Viborg-Hurley 1

VIBORG — Irene-Wakonda defeated Viborg-Hurley in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-23, 25-21, 20-25 and 25-19.

IW’s Paige O’Daniel recorded 22 kills, six digs, one block and one ace. Maryn Lyngstad posted six kills and 13 digs. Bella Healy had 10 kills, four aces and three digs. Addison Brockmueller recorded five kills, 14 digs, four aces and two assists. Reagan Rudd posted 36 assists, 18 digs and one kill. Ava George had nine digs.

For VH, Tatum Hauger posted 10 kills and two blocks. Olivia Hanson posted eight kills and 12 digs. Isabella Voog posted 22 digs and two aces. Hayley Voog had eight digs. Brooklyn Kessler finished with six kills. Lexie Wetering had 27 assists and five aces. Camille Desbiens had eight kills and 11 digs. Presley Skonhovd had five kills and two digs. Shelby VanDriel totaled two kills and three digs. Brooklyn Hoesing had two kills. 

Aberdeen Roncalli 3, Milbank 1 

MILBANK — Aberdeen Roncalli topped Milbank in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 21-25, 25-15 and 25-17.

Milbank’s Avery Schuneman posted four kills, 14 assists and nine digs. Adison Pauli had five kills and 25 digs. Bailey Koepke posted 10 kills and two blocks. Susie Schuneman totaled four assists. Jacy Dexter had 13 digs. Evy Liebe added an ace. 

Dell Rapids 3, Madison 0

MADISON — Class A No. 2 Dell Rapids swept Madison in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-13, 25-18 and 25-15.

Dell Rapids’ Madelyn Henry finished with 20 kills and one block. Peyton Hohn posted eight kills and one block. Tenley Anderson recorded 31 assists and three aces. Elin Schoenhard recorded two aces. Sylea Sykes had five digs and Alaina Wolff posted three assists.

For Madison, Jaya Engels recorded two blocks, six digs and seven kills. Grace Feige and Lydia Nelson posted four kills apiece. Nelson added four aces and two blocks. Karley Theede posted 14 assists. Mara Klingbile posted five digs. 

Harrisburg 3, Sioux Falls Christian 0

HARRISBURG — Class AA No. 1 Harrisburg swept Class A No. 3 Sioux Falls Christian in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-10, 25-12 and 25-22.

Harrisburg’s Gabi Zachariasen finished with 20 kills, 11 digs and four aces. Emma Masselink and Bergen Stiff totaled nine kills apiece. Josalyn Samuels recorded 33 assists and two blocks. Lindsay Langner had 19 digs. 

For Sioux Falls Christian, Meredith Nelson totaled 20 assists, eight digs and one ace. Jayla Overman recorded eight kills. Allyra Dorhout added six kills and four blocks. Tavyn Sichmeller finished with six digs. Sophia O’Neil had two aces. 

Brandon Valley 3, Sioux Falls Washington 2

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 3 Brandon Valley clipped Sioux Falls Washington for five-set high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 18-25, 25-13, 25-22, 23-25 and 16-14.

Brandon Valley’s Abby Gruber finished with 16 kills, while Jersie Melcher totaled 13 kills and 14 digs. Melcher added three aces. Kennedi Boomsma posted 11 kills and seven blocks. Logan McGuire finished with 51 assists and two aces. Mya VanWesten posted 19 digs. Riya Sheley posted five blocks.
