Todd County 44, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa 12

MISSION — Todd County scored four touchdowns in the fourth quarter to put away Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa in the All-Nations Football Conference semifinals on Friday. 

The Falcons will play in the All-Nations Football Conference Class A Division championship game against either Pine Ridge or Winnebago on Nov. 4 in Vermillion. 

On Friday, Todd County’s Ty Valandra scored on touchdown runs of 46, 5 and 90 yards. Chris Ellert connected with Wakinyan Sa Selwyn for a 21-yard touchdown reception. Drake Espinoza and Cayde Valandra both added touchdown runs, while Aden Good Voice had a pick-six. 

For the Braves, Danah Diver had a 42-yard touchdown run, while Easton Lawrence hauled in a seven-yard touchdown pass from Levi Elk Nation. 

Pierre 49, Spearfish 26

PIERRE — Pierre’s Cade Kaiser accounted for five touchdowns in a Class 11AA playoff football win over Spearfish on Friday.

Kaiser completed 11 of 14 passes for 172 yards and tossed four touchdown passes. Kaiser added 85 yards rushing and a touchdown. Kaiser threw two passing touchdowns to George Stalley and one each to Jett Zabel and Tyan Buus. Zabel hauled in four catches for 57 yards and rushed for a touchdown. Stalley had 70 yards receiving. Trey Lewis rushed for 33 yards on eight carries and scored a touchdown for Pierre, which scored on seven of its first eight possessions for a 49-0 halftime lead. 

Spearfish’s Seth Hamilton completed 4 of 8 passes for 208 yards and tossed four passing touchdowns. Cade Vavruska hauled in two touchdown passes and finished with 96 yards receiving. Graham Hughes and Karsen Seyer caught touchdown catches. 

Tea Area 39 Sturgis 13 

TEA — Tea Area rushed for 353 yards in a Class 11AA quarterfinal win over Sturgis on Friday.

Keegan DeYoung led the Titans with 99 yards rushing on 13 carries and scored three touchdowns. Riley Svanda added 83 yards rushing and scored a touchdown. Brenner Konrad and Cole McKinney posted 62 rushing yards apiece, while McKinney scored a touchdown. Konrad completed 6 of 10 passes for 72 yards. McKinney hauled in 34 yards receiving. Sam Werdel racked up nine tackles.

For Sturgis, Aidan Hedderman rushed for 71 yards on 16 carries and scored a touchdown. Hedderman completed 8 of 20 passes for 124 yards and threw a passing touchdown to Dalyn Dschaak. Owen Udager hauled in 52 yards receiving. Jadon Blair had 11 tackles. 

Sioux Falls Lincoln 56, Rapid City Stevens 21

SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Lincoln’s Tate Schafer tossed five passing touchdowns in a Class 11AAA quarterfinal win over Rapid City Stevens on Friday.

Schafer threw two passing touchdowns to Isaac Jarovski and Jack Smith, who added a punt return for a score. Dawson Siem also hauled in a touchdown reception from Schafer. Josh Myers and Ralph Williams added touchdown runs for the Patriots. 

Stevens’ Cael Meisman had a touchdown run and Bryce Swanson scored on a pick-six.
