Ipswich 3, Lyman 0 

IPSWICH — Ipswich swept Lyman in Region 6B volleyball action on Monday. The set scores were 25-17, 25-17 and 25-11. Ipswich will play Faulkton Area in the next round. 

Ipswich’s Gracie Lange finished with 19 kills, while Baylee Kulesa added 12 kills and 14 digs. Quincy Olivier logged four aces and 16 digs. Jaydia Stiles added four aces, while Madison Geditz posted 16 digs. 

Lyman’s Skyler Volmer and Mak Scott recorded eight kills apiece.Volmer added one block and 12 digs. Kaylee Larson recorded two kills and one ace. McKenzie Lavendure had one ace. Caysen Gran recorded 10 assists, while Annie Brakke had 20 digs. 

Corsica-Stickney 3, Marty 0

CORSICA — Corsica-Stickney swept Marty in Region 5B volleyball action on Monday. The set scores were 25-8, 25-8, and 25-10. Corsica-Stickney will play Burke in the next round.

Corsica-Stickney’s Jacey Kemp led with nine kills, six aces, and three digs, while Ashlyn Lefers had five kills and five digs. Sutten Eide tallied 19 assists, eight aces, and three digs, while Payton DeLange and Brooklyn Bosma each had three kills and three digs. Braylee Bordewyk added four aces.

Marty stats were not reported.

Faulkton Area 3, Lower Brule 0 

FAULKTON — Faulkton Area swept Lower Brule in Region 6B volleyball action on Monday. The set scores were 25-10, 25-9 and 25-5. The Trojans will play Ipswich in the next round. 

Faulkton Area’s Kelli Stoecker recorded 12 kills and three block assists. Addison Melius logged 12 kills and five aces. Carley Cotton added eight kills, while Trisha Cramer posted four aces. Hannah Cunningham recorded three aces. Gabby Kast finished with 37 assists, one block assist and one solo block. 

Lower Brule stats weren’t reported. 

Aberdeen Christian 3, Waverly-South Shore 0

ABERDEEN — Aberdeen Christian swept Waverly-South Shore in Region 1B volleyball action on Monday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-19 and 25-22. The Knights will play Warner in the Region 1B quarterfinals on Tuesday. 

Aberdeen Christian’s Sophia Fogarty finished with six kills, while Payton Skarin added seven kills, eight digs and two aces. 

Waverly-South Shore’s Capri Schroeder logged 18 digs, four kills and three aces. 

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Chamberlain 1 

WOONSOCKET — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket defeated Chamberlain in Region 5A volleyball action on Monday. The set scores were 20-25, 25-16, 25-15 and 25-18. SCW plays at Wagner on Tuesday in the next round.

SCW’s Lizzie Boschee and Kenna Ochsner finished with 14 kills apiece. Kenlie Fridley posted 26 assists, while Bailey Feistner added 10 assists and 16 digs. Bella Fry posted 18 digs and Kenna Ochsner had one block. 

Chamberlain’s Megan Marone finished with eight kills, while Frankee George recorded six kills. Nissi Vaad had five kills. Chesney Mutziger added nine assists, while Jayna Long had seven assists and 20 digs. Sara Peterson added two aces. 

Harrisburg 3, Brandon Valley 0

HARRISBURG — Class AA No. 1 Harrisburg swept Brandon Valley in high school volleyball action on Monday. The set scores were 25-17, 25-20, and 25-19.

Harrisburg’s Morissen Samuels led with 14 kills, while Kaelyn Snoozy had eight kills. Kayleigh Hybertson tallied 29 assists and 12 digs, while Maggie Meister had 10 digs. Gabrielle Zachariasen had three aces, while Karalynn Leach added two blocks.

Brandon Valley’s Mya Hejl and Katherine Gray each had five kills, while Josey Wickersham recorded 11 digs. Alli Gawarecki tallied 11 assists, while Jayaunna Stroh had two aces. Kennedy Keiper added two blocks.
