WOONSOCKET — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket clipped Tripp-Delmont/Armour in a five-set high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 26-24, 25-12, 11-25, 18-25 and 15-11.

SCW’s Liz Boschee finished with 23 kills, five digs and seven blocks. Addison Bartholow posted 15 kills, 12 digs and one block. Kenzie Baruth had 12 digs and five kills. Addy Baruth totaled 16 assists, seven digs and one block. Tori Hoffman had eight assists. Kali Hofer had 23 assists, nine digs, one kill and one ace. Hudson Fouberg totaled 25 digs, while Cami Edwards totaled eight kills and 15 digs. 

TDA’s Mia Reiner had 20 kills and 23 digs. Kinley Spaans posted 40 assists, six kills and one block. Sara Bertram added 26 digs, nine kills and five aces. Leah Dewald had 23 digs and three aces. 

Northwestern 3, Faulkton Area 0

FAULKTON — Class B No. 2 Northwestern swept Faulkton Area in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-16 and 25-14.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven posted 16 kills, 10 digs and four blocks. Taylor Vetter posted seven kills, while Kylee Henjum posted four kills. Ella Boekelheide added 27 assists, 11 digs and one ace. Brenna Halvorson and Mikaela Schmitt posted three aces apiece. Tara Blachford posted seven digs and Sophia Troske added three assists. Lilly Haven had six blocks. Lila Johnson had three blocks.

Faulkton Area stats were not reported. 

Ethan 3, Hanson 2 

ALEXANDRIA — Ethan edged Hanson in a five-set high school volleyball match on Thursday. The set scores were 19-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-27 and 15-11. 

Ethan’s Marissa Storm finished with 17 kills, 25 digs and two blocks. Rachel Klock posted six kills, 26 digs, one block and one ace. Taziah Hawkins totaled 13 kills, 20 assists and 23 digs. Anna Mellegaard had 13 digs. Rachel Weisz had nine digs and five aces. Mya Storm totaled 17 digs and three aces.

For Hanson, Ava Doyle had 20 kills, 22 digs, five assists and one ace. Alivia Bender posted 13 kills, four blocks and three digs. Claire Bridge posted 26 digs and four aces. Taryn Holm recorded two kills, 19 digs, two aces and one assist. Jozlynn Tegethoff posted 22 digs and two kills. Brooklyn Schroeder had three kills, four blocks and four digs. Audrina Waldera posted 10 assists and three digs. 

Dakota Valley 3, Madison 0 

MADISON — Class A No. 2 Dakota Valley swept Madison in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-23 and 25-12. 

Dakota Valley’s Claire Munch posted 13 kills and nine digs. Samantha Kimball and Aubree Worden recorded nine kills apiece. Coryn Kimball added 13 digs. Madie Munch had 35 assists and two aces. Skylar Anderson had two aces and three blocks. Taylor Piel posted five blocks. 

For Madison, Lydia Nelson had five kills and two blocks. Jaya Engels posted seven kills and eight digs. Karley Theede added one block, four aces and 16 assists. Ella Malone had two aces. 

Deuel 3, Tiospa Zina 0

CLEAR LAKE — Deuel swept Tiospa Zina in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-8, 25-11 and 25-15.

Deuel’s Lauryn Peterreins finished with seven kills, while Alayna Carlson posted seven kills and two blocks. Camdyn Peterreins had six kills. Gracyn Goehring finished with 13 assists, three digs and four aces. Braylin Kreger had 12 assists and eight digs. Ella Kerkvliet had six aces and nine digs. Ember Morris finished with four aces.

Tiospa Zina stats were not reported. 

Deubrook Area 3, Elkton-Lake Benton 0 

ELKTON — Deubrook Area swept Elkton-Lake Benton in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-23, 25-22 and 25-23.

Elkton-Lake Benton’s Charlie Thooft finished with nine kills, two aces and 17 digs. Sydney DeVries and Jocelyn Prosch had eight kills apiece. Prosch added four blocks. Payton Kuehl recorded 19 assists and two aces. Quinn Slegers had 19 digs and Ashya Flores had 12 digs. Kadence Olberding had nine assists.

Sioux Falls Lutheran 3, Viborg-Hurley 0

VIBORG — Sioux Falls Lutheran sweeps Viborg-Hurley during Thursday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-7 and 25-14.

Sioux Falls Lutheran’s stats were not reported.

For VH, Olivia Hanson had six kills and five digs, Isabella Voog totaled 12 digs, Lexie Watering added four assists while Tatum Hauger totaled two kills and three blocks in the loss.

Leola/Frederick Area 3, Strasburg/Zeeland (N.D.) 0

LEOLA — Leola/Frederick Area swept Strasburg/Zeeland, North Dakota, during Thursday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-11, 25-16 and 25-5.

LF’s Ella Kempf had 10 kills, Eden Podoll recorded eight kills and 13 assists, Karli Achen added eight kills and a block, Tayler Vetter dished out 22 assists, Kaitlyn Mueller recorded 21 digs while Kalyce Achen had 20 digs and six aces in the win.

Brandon Valley 3, Yankton 0 

BRANDON — Class AA No. 2 Brandon Valley swept Yankton in Thursday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-5, 25-18 and 25-22.

Brandon Valley’s Jersie Melcher finished with 11 kills. Abby Gruber added nine kills and two blocks. Logan McGuire had 34 assists, five aces and three blocks. Mya VanWesten had 10 digs and Ashley Ertelt posted two blocks.
