Parkston 3, Bon Homme 1

PARKSTON — Parkston picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Bon Homme in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-10, 25-27, 26-24 and 25-20.


Northwestern 3, Groton Area 0

MELLETTE — Class B No. 4 Northwestern swept Groton Area for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-12, 25-7, and 25-16.

Northwestern’s Ella Haven led with 30 kills and three blocks, while Ashley Haven had four kills, eight digs, and three aces. Payton Grandpre had four kills and two blocks, while Brooklinn Halvorson logged 34 assists, eight digs, and four aces. Ella Boekelheide added 10 digs.

Groton Area’s Anna Fjeldheim tallied three kills, eight digs, and two aces, while Aspen Johnson had three kills. Laila Roberts had eight digs, while Liz Fliehs logged 10 assists, two blocks, and one ace.


Wolsey-Wessington 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0

WOLSEY — Class B No. 5 Wolsey-Wessington swept Sunshine Bible Academy in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-13, 25-10 and 25-12.

Wolsey-Wessington’s Mallory Miller logged 10 kills and three blocks. Mya Boomsma added eight kills, while Kailynn Dorris posted five kills. Lainey Uttecht had 15 digs and two aces. Leah Williams added two aces. Taylor Horn dished out 21 assists. 

SBA’s Betra Amare had six digs and two aces. Rylee Nelson had three blocks.


Chester Area 3, Sioux Valley 1

CHESTER — Class B No. 2 Chester Area picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Sioux Valley on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 21-25, 25-17 and 25-21.

Chester Area’s Lily VanHal finished with one ace, 20 kills and 24 assists. Jacy Wolf logged 18 kills and 23 assists. Emery Larson and Kaylor Geraets had 24 and 19 digs, respectively. Katelynn Huntimer had an ace and Emmerson Eppard had a block.

Sioux Valley’s Landree Wilson finished with 16 kills and 13 digs. Kaedyn Sapp logged 11 kills and 19 digs. Sunny Hesby dished out 20 assists, while Ashley Bjerke had 19 assists. Talya Vincent finished with 12 digs. Adison Renkly and Jada Knutson had four and two blocks, respectively. 


Arlington 3, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 1

RAMONA — Arlington picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Oldham-Ramona/Rutland on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-23, 23-25, 25-17, and 25-18.

Arlington’s Morgan Larson tallied 19 kills, 12 digs, and three blocks, while Addie Steffensen had 12 kills and eight digs. Dani Carlson had 10 digs, while Tanaya Weiss had 41 assists. Jo Steffensen added two blocks.

ORR’s Julia Trygstad logged 21 kills and six blocks, while Bailey Hyland had 10 kills and 19 digs. Alivia Bickett recorded seven kills, 14 digs, and one ace, while Paige Hanson had 22 assists and two blocks. Brooklyn Hageman added 20 assists.

 



Platte-Geddes 3, Kimball/White Lake 2 

KIMBALL — Platte-Geddes outlasted Kimball/White Lake in five sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-15, 25-23, 17-25, 18-25, and 15-9.

Platte-Geddes’ Cadence Van Zee recorded 16 kills and 25 digs, while also recording her 1,000th dig. Karly VanDerWerff logged 15 kills, 21 digs, four blocks, and three aces. Regan Hoffman had 10 kills, 25 digs, and two aces, while Hadley Hanson had six kills, 17 digs, and two aces. Emerson Ringling tallied six kills and four digs, while Avery DeVries added 41 assists, 11 digs and four blocks.

Kimball/White Lake stats were not reported.

 



Corsica-Stickney 3, Avon 2

CORSICA — Corsica-Stickney edged Avon in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-23, 17-25, 20-25, 25-20 and 15-11.

Corsica-Stickney’s Payton DeLange recorded eight kills, seven digs, one block and one ace. Jacey Kemp added eight kills, six digs, four aces and one block. Brooklyn Bosma added seven kills, two digs and one ace. Cali Vanden Hoek finished with 14 digs, while Sutten Eide logged 27 assists, nine digs and two kills. Brooklyn Bosma added seven kills and two digs. Ashlyn Lefers finished with 12 digs and four kills. 

Avon’s Courtney Sees recorded 22 kills and 31 digs. Lila Vanderlei had 11 kills and 15 digs, while McKenna Kocmich posted 38 assists, 16 digs and three aces. Kim Tolsma had eight digs, while Lexi Vanderlei posted 11 digs and four kills. Sarah Swier and Macy Voigt had nine digs apiece. Gracie Small added four kills. 


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 3, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 0

NEW HOLLAND — Tripp-Delmont/Armour swept Andes Central/Dakota Christian in a high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-17, and 25-15.

TDA’s Gracey Schatz recorded 16 kills and two aces, while Megan Reiner tallied 14 kills and 19 digs. Mia Reiner had six kills, 11 digs, and three aces, while Hannah Stremick added eight digs and four aces.

AC/DC stats were not reported.


Burke 3, Gayville-Volin 0

BURKE — Class B No. 3 Burke swept Gayville-Volin in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-22, 25-17, and 25-8.

Burke’s Adisyn Indahl led with 20 kills, 16 digs, and two assists, while Kailee Frank tallied 10 kills and 15 digs. Paige Bull recorded eight kills and four blocks. Elle Johnson had 32 digs, while Elly Witt had 18 assists, eight digs, and one ace. Ava Sargent added 16 assists and two aces.

Gayville-Volin’s Maia Achen had 12 kills, while Keeley Larson added 19 assists.


Vermillion 3, Beresford 1

BERESFORD — Vermillion earned a four-set volleyball win over Beresford on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 22-25, 25-9, and 25-23.

Vermillion’s Brooklyn Voss tallied 14 kills and three blocks, while Brooke Jensen had 10 kills and three blocks. Serena Gapp had nine kills and 17 digs, while Kelsey O’Neill had 33 digs.

Claire Doty had 23 assists and eight digs, while Anni Barnett added 16 assists and eight aces.

Beresford’s Megan DeLay had six kills, while Irelyn Fickbohm had four kills. Rachel Zanter had 10 digs, while Autumn Namminga and Mckayla Roelke added nine and six digs, respectively. Larissa Tiedeman added 11 assists.


Colman-Egan 3, Deubrook Area 1

WHITE — Colman-Egan picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Deubrook Area on Friday. The set scores were 25-13, 23-25, 25-17, and 25-23.

CE’s Kadance Landis finished with 16 kills, while Berkley Groos had 13 kills and 30 digs. Daniela Lee had 13 kills, 16 digs, and five blocks, while Elaina Rhode had eight kills and four blocks. Lanie Mousel had 28 assists, 16 digs, and four blocks, while Ava Mousel had 15 assists. Kaylee Voelker added 13 digs.

Deubrook Area’s Zoey Molengraaf had 11 kills and two blocks, while Skyla Petersen had eight kills and three blocks. Brooke Koppatschek tallied 21 assists, 20 digs, and two aces, while Ellie Koenig had 19 digs and eight assists. Miranda Moravetz recorded 19 digs, while Delaney Pedersen added 16 digs.

ALEXANDRIA — Freeman outlasted Hanson in five sets for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-19, 25-22, 22-25, 20-25, and 15-11.

Freeman’s Kate Miller recorded 18 kills and 31 digs, while Ashlin Jacobsen tallied 15 kills, 20 digs, and four aces. Erin Uecker had seven kills, 23 digs, and four aces, while Zenovia Butler had five kills, 17 digs, two aces, and two blocks. Cami Fransen added 41 assists, nine digs, and two aces.

Hanson’s Annalyse Weber had 14 kills and 25 digs, while Kylie Haiar had six kills. Jalyn Kampshoff had 25 assists and 15 digs, while Jersey Kampshoff had 23 digs. Claire Bridge had 14 digs and four aces, while Jazzy Campbell, Taziah Hawkins, and Kate Haiar each had four kills. Haiar also added five blocks.


Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 1

WOONSOCKET — Hitchcock-Tulare picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, and 25-20.

HT’s Katelyn Schroeder finished with 20 kills, 10 digs, and six aces, while Rebecca Huizenga had 10 kills. Isabel Gilbert had eight kills, while Cambree Hoekman tallied 27 digs. Gracyn Bixler recorded 23 assists and 10 digs, while Presley Binger had 12 assists.

SCW’s Liz Boschee, Kam Ochsner, and Kailynn Eggleston each had 10 kills. Kenna Ochsner had 16 digs, while Kenlie Fridley had 15 digs and 13 assists. Bailey Feistner added 11 assists.

 



Harrisburg 3, Sioux Falls Christian 2

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 3 Harrisburg outlasted Class A No. 1 Sioux Falls Christian in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 15-25, 25-22, 19-25, 25-21 and 15-12.

Harrisburg’s Gabrielle Zachariasen finished with 17 kills and two aces. Morissen Samuels added 15 kills, four blocks and two aces. Maggie Meister recorded 27 digs, while Kaelyn Snoozy had 20 digs. Kayleigh Hybertson logged 43 assists. 

Sioux Falls Christian’s Ellie Lems finished with 18 kills and five digs. Peyton Poppema logged 12 kills and 12 digs. Taylor Byl posted 10 kills. Sidney Oostra finished with 14 digs and nine kills. Addisen Barber logged two aces, 45 assists and six digs. Lavin Maddox added two aces and 22 digs. Maggie Keepers posted six digs. 


Flandreau 3, Parker 0

PARKER — Flandreau swept Parker for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-8, 25-10, and 25-21.

Flandreau’s Claire Sheppard recorded 10 kills, three blocks, and three digs, while Lizzie Pavlis had seven kills. Lily Klein had six kills, 10 digs, and seven aces, while Abby Schoeberl logged 26 assists and four aces. Addy Hammer had eight digs, while Ella Hoffman added seven kills, six digs, and two aces.

Parker’s Halle Berens logged seven kills and five digs, while Meah Wright added six assists and four digs. Hailey Phillips and Aspen Rand added four digs apiece.


Milbank 3, Aberdeen Roncalli 2

ABERDEEN — Milbank outlasted Aberdeen Roncalli in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 14-25, 25-19, 25-18, 18-25 and 15-10.

Milbank’s Rachel Schulte finished with 18 kills, while Addisyn Krause added six aces and 32 digs. Averie Engebretson recorded 35 assists, 26 digs and three blocks.

Aberdeen Roncalli’s Jaidyn Feickert finished with 11 kills, while Ella Hanson added eight kills and 33 digs.


Garretson 3, West Central 2 

HARTFORD — Garretson rallied from a 2-0 deficit to secure a five-set high school volleyball win over West Central on Tuesday. The set scores were 18-25, 23-25, 25-12, 25-15 and 15-2.

West Central’s Josephine Dinges and Madilyn Dinges posted eight kills apiece. Josephine Dinges and Kaia Gabbert each had solo blocks. Gabbert and Ellie Lienhard recorded three aces apiece. Lienhard posted 15 assists, while Aubree Miller recorded 11 assists. Jocelyn Nilson had 32 digs and Landry Heath finished with 17 digs. 

Garretson stats were not reported.


Florence/Henry 3, Deuel 0

HENRY — Florence/Henry swept Deuel in straight sets in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-14, 25-14 and 25-22.

Florence/Henry’s Caylin Kelly finished with 20 kills, 13 digs and four blocks. Trinity Watson posted 11 kills and one block. Taylor Watson recorded 18 digs and Jozie Hyatt had 13 digs. Reese Schmidt dished out 29 assists. Kate Hulscher had a block and Macey Lane had three aces.

Baltic 3, Howard 1

HOWARD — Baltic picked up a four-set high school volleyball win over Howard in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 19-25, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-17.

Baltic’s Emma Van Regenmorter recorded 15 kills and nine digs. Baily Teveldal added nine kills and 16 assists. Daynica Witzel and Madison Kennedy recorded two solo blocks apiece. Witzel added six aces, while Alyx Dobbins logged three aces and five digs. Jacie Wendland recorded 18 assists. 

Howard’s Kate Connor finished with nine kills and five blocks. Piper Thompson added 17 digs, three aces and six kills. Rylee Rudebusch had 19 assists and 17 digs. Landree Callies recorded 22 digs and Tana Hoyer finished with two assists.


Dell Rapids 3, Madison 1

MADISON — Dell Rapids recorded a four-set high school volleyball win over Madison in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 14-25, 25-18 and 25-22.

Dell Rapids’ Madelynn Henry recorded 15 kills, while Sophi Randall had 35 assists, 11 kills and 10 digs. Kylee Fiddelke finished with seven kills, while Lauryn Kloth had three kills. Alaina Wolff posted 13 digs. 

Madison’s Audrey Nelson and Amanda Vacanti had 14 and 13 kills, respectively. Nelson added 11 digs, five blocks and two blocks. Vacanti posted 16 assists. Maycee Theede added nine digs, while Karley Theede posted 15 assists. Lydia Nelson logged four blocks. Cadence Zens had two aces. 


Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock, N.D. 3, Mobridge-Pollock 0

LINTON, N.D. — Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock, N.D. swept Mobridge-Pollock for a high school volleyball win on Tuesday. The set scores were 26-24, 25-14, and 25-14.

Mobridge-Pollock’s Charley Henderson recorded seven kills, while Emily Hatzenbuehler tallied six kills. Reagan Weisbeck had seven digs, while Emma Keller added 12 assists.
