NEWELL — Faith swept Newell in Monday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-23, 25-8 and 25-10. 

Bridgewater-Emery 3, Centerville 2

EMERY — Bridgewater-Emery edged Centerville in a five-set high school volleyball match on Monday. The set scores were 23-25, 25-16, 19-25, 25-11 and 15-6.

BE’s Oakley Weber finished with 20 kills, 25 assists, 20 digs and two aces. Hayden Hofer added 10 kills, 23 assists, 16 digs and five aces. Macie Weber recorded 11 kills and 17 digs. Summer Koch logged five kills and four blocks. Reese Meyer-Bublitz had four kills and two blocks. Jennalyn Zulk posted eight kills. Maizey Strombeck had 18 digs.

For Centerville, Althea Gust posted 14 kills and one block. Addison Buckneburg had two kills and two blocks. Emma Marshall recorded 14 kills and five blocks. Tesse Eide had 16 digs and one ace. Lillee Shearer added four kills and three blocks. Ashlyn Hagena had three kills. Keira Austin posted 32 assists and two digs. 

Burke 3, Wagner 1

WAGNER — Class B No. 4 Burke defeated Wagner in a four-set victory Monday night. The set scores were 25-21, 15-25, 25-10, and 25-20.

Burke’s Kailee Frank had 16 kills and 24 digs, Emmie Hausmann had nine kills and three aces, Kyrie Matucha recorded 16 digs and five aces, Paige Bull had eight kills and four blocks, while Emmy Spencer tallied 15 assists and two aces in the win. Ava Sargent had 15 assists as well.

Wagner’s Ravyn Medricky totaled 12 kills, 12 digs, four blocks, and three aces, Hannah Holzbauer had 12 kills and two aces, Libby Kotab recorded 18 digs and three aces, Braxton Nedved had 31 assists, while Brianna Fuchs recorded five kills in the loss.

Viborg-Hurley 3, Alcester-Hudson 2

VIBORG — Viborg-Hurley pulled out the five-set victory over Alcester-Hudson during Monday’s volleyball action. The set scores were 28-26, 14-25, 15-25, 26-24, and 15-12.

VH’s Charley Nelson tallied 58 digs, three assists and two kills, Jenna Graves had 32 digs, 29 assists, five kills, and four aces, Aubree Schwartz recorded 32 digs and eight kills, Kyla Peterson had eight kills and two digs, Danica Gordon racked up 11 kills and seven digs, Olivia Hanson had 11 digs and seven kills, Addison Huth tallied seven kills and four digs, while Natali Blair had 17 assists, 13 digs, and four kills in the win.

AH’s Emma Solberg had eight kills, 11 digs, and three blocks, Hannah Ahart had eight kills, 35 digs, 14 assists, and seven aces, Emily Wingquist recorded six kills and 13 digs, while Jenna Manning had 34 digs in the loss.

Gayville-Volin 3, Avon 0

GAYVILLE — Gayville-Volin improved to 26-4 after sweeping Avon during Monday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 31-29, and 27-25.

GV’s Maia Achen recorded 18 kills and 14 digs, Paisley Dimmer had 11 kills, Britton Scheetz recorded 30 assists and seven digs, Taylor Hoxeng tallied 20 digs and three assists, Aliza Westrum had five kills and two blocks, while Jolie Westrum tallied 10 digs and three kills in the win.

Avon’s Lila Vanderlei tallied 12 kills and 11 digs, Brielle Voigt had 20 assists, eight digs, and three kills, Rilyn Thury tallied 10 kills and 14 digs, while Alexis Vanderlei recorded 10 digs, three kills, and a block in the loss.

Ipswich 3, Herreid/Selby Area 1

HERREID — Ipswich topped Herreid/Selby Area in a four-set high school volleyball match on Monday. The set scores were 25-23, 22-25, 25-21 and 25-12.

Ipswich’s Marley Guthmiller finished with 14 kills, five blocks, five aces and 16 digs. Kaylin Onken added nine kills. Jalyssa Hutson posted four kills and six assists. Brianna Geditz logged two aces. Reaghan Bowers had six assists. Brianna Geditz recorded 20 digs. Josie Knutson had 17 assists. 

Herreid/Selby Area stats were not reported. 

Leola/Frederick Area 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0 

MILLER — Leola/Frederick Area swept Sunshine Bible Academy in Monday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-17, 25-16 and 25-18.

Leola/Frederick Area’s Jill Ellwein recorded five kills and five aces. Sam Geffre recorded four kills and three aces. Tayler Vetter had three aces and nine assists. Kaitlyn Mueller had four kills, one block and 10 digs. Zoe Cox recorded two assists. Brystol Hatlewick recorded seven digs. Ella Kempf had one block. 

SBA’s Dakota Boersma posted eight kills and seven digs. Ciera Mickelson posted four kills, two blocks and two digs. Soleil Mickelson added three kills, six digs and one block. Natasha Appel posted three kills. Kennedy Keck had an ace. Abby Hinman recorded seven assists, one ace, one kill, one block and one dig. Maylee Backes had two blocks and four digs.

Winner 3, Platte-Geddes 1

WINNER — Winner defeated Platte-Geddes in four-sets during Monday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-17, 24-26, and 25-21.

Winner’s Gracie Root dished out 37 assists, 24 digs, and six aces, Keelie Kuil had 13 kills, Livy Audiss had 12 kills. Preslie Petersek tallied four aces, Cora Moss had 20 digs, while Adysen Pravacek had 17 digs in the win.

PG’s Kori VanDerWerff had 18 kills, two blocks, and 24 digs, Jerni Severson had 15 kills, Kolbi Hoffman tallied 30 assists, two blocks and an ace, while Addson DeVries had 14 digs in the loss.

Dakota Valley 3, Tea Area 0

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Class A No. 1 Dakota Valley picked up its 23rd victory after sweeping Tea Area during Monday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-16, 25-7, and 25-8.

DV’s Sammy Kimball had 10 kills and 12 digs, Claire Munch recorded 18 digs and five kills, Cam Sommervold had five kills, Jacee Squire tallied 15 assists, Maddie Munch totaled 15 assists and five digs, while Reagan Granstrom tallied 26 digs.

Tea Area’s Kya Haynes tallied two kills and a block, Kalli Boom had 11 digs, Elli Clayberg had three assists and four digs, Claire Hank had five digs and two assists, while Chloe Christenson tallied three digs and four blocks in the loss.

Sioux Falls Christian 3, Lennox 1

SIOUX FALLS — Class A No. 3 Sioux Falls Christian defeated Lennox during Monday’s high school volleyball action. The set scores were 19-25, 25-21, 27-25, and 25-17.

SFC’s Brietta Tims tallied 15 kills, six digs, two blocks, and two aces, Jayla Overman had 11 kills, two digs, and five blocks, Addisen Barber had 10 kills, three blocks, six digs, and 31 assists, Chloe Bosma had 19 digs, while Camdyn Mulder recorded six kills and two blocks in the win.

Lennox’s stats were not reported.

Aberdeen Roncalli 3, Deuel 0

CLEAR LAKE — Aberdeen Roncalli swept Deuel in Monday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-19 and 25-13.

Roncalli’s Ava Hanson finished with six kills and three aces. Maddie Huber logged five kills, 13 digs and 22 assists. Karsyn Davis posted five kills. McKenna O’Keefe logged three aces. Ava Danielson logged 11 digs. Rylee Voeller posted six aces and one block. Elyana roach had a block. Reese Henrich had one block.

For Deuel, Alayna Carlson, Camdyn Peterreins and Ella Kervliet had four kills apiece. Kervliet added eight digs and three aces. Braylin Kreger added six assists, while Gracyn Goehring had four assists. Lexi Schilling and Addison Timmons posted seven digs apiece. Emma Sattler had seven digs. Claryssa Hanson had two blocks.
