Kadoka Area 3, Lyman 0

PRESHO — Kadoka Area swept Lyman in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-19, 25-17 and 25-14.


Kimball/White Lake 3, Chamberlain 0

KIMBALL — Kimball/White Lake swept Chamberlain in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-15, 25-8 and 25-18.

Kimball/White Lake’s Ryann Nielsen finished with 13 kills, 14 digs, four aces and one block. Harley Namanny had eight kills, 18 assists, 13 digs and two aces. Lindy Keihn had seven kills, three digs, three blocks, two aces and one assist. Madison Meier finished with five assists, 25 digs and two aces. Elena Brennan posted five kills and five blocks. Rylee McCord logged five kills, 13 digs, two aces and two blocks.

For Chamberlain, Jovie VanDenBosch finished with five kills, eight digs, two aces and one block. Tobi Peterson posted five kills. Chesney Mutziger recorded nine assists, three digs, one kill, one ace and one block. Alexis Cronk posted eight digs. Cedar Hawk had five digs and Grace Vanderley added six digs. 


Warner 3, Hitchcock-Tulare 0

TULARE — Class B No. 1 Warner swept Hitchcock-Tulare in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-17 and 25-16.

Warner’s Kyleigh Schopp finished with 14 kills and three blocks. Lauren Marcuson added 11 kills, 11 digs and four aces. Ava Nilsson posted 38 assists and three aces. Jordyn Jensen logged nine digs and Sophia Hoeft had two blocks. 

For Hitchcock-Tulare, Lila Johnson finished with seven kills and 13 assists. Katelyn Schroeder posted nine digs, six kills and one ace. Gracyn Bixler added two assists and one ace. Cambree Hoekman had nine digs. 


Northwestern 3, Aberdeen Christian 0

MELLETTE — Class B No. 3 Northwestern swept Aberdeen Christian in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-9, 25-15 and 25-16.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven finished with 15 kills, 14 digs, five block assists and three aces. Payton Grandpre added four aces, seven kills and 16 digs. Nikki Nickeson posted five kills. Ella Boekelheide added 25 assists, two aces and two block assists. Tara Blachford had 10 digs. 

For Aberdeen Christian, Payton Searin finished with eight digs, four kills and one ace. Sophia Eichler had three kills. Jolie Fogarty posted two kills and three assists. Sawyer Schwan posted three assists. Alexis Isakson added 13 digs. Chloe Bosma had seven digs and Ari Johnson added four blocks. 


Hanson 3, Centerville 2

CENTERVILLE — The Hanson girls picked up a Tuesday night volleyball win over Centerville in a thrilling five-set match. Set scores were 25-20, 25-23, 24-26, 22-25 and 15-10. 

Taziah Hawkins led Hanson with 16 kills, 14 digs and two aces. Jazzlyn Campbell had 14 kills and 13 digs while Kylie Haiar added 12 kills, three blocks and nine digs. Jersey Kampshoff led the Beavers with 29 assists while adding ten digs and a team-leading four aces. Cadence Jarding added 21 assists and two aces.

Thea Gust led Centerville with 12 kills, two blocks and seven digs. Kierra Austin had 39 assists, three and two kills. Lillie Eide finished with seven kills and 18 assists while Lillie Shearer had nine kills, fourteen digs and two aces. 


Burke 3, Avon 0

BURKE — Burke swept Avon in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-10, 25-16 and 25-22.

Burke’s Kailee Frank finished with 16 kills and six digs. Emmie Hausmann added eight kills, six aces and six digs. Elle Johnson nine digs, while Paige Bull added two blocks. Ava Sargent added 13 assists and Bridget Eliason had 10 assists.

For Avon, Courtney Sees finished with 12 kills, while Lila Vanderlei had three kills, 13 digs and one block. Macy Voigt recorded 11 digs, while McKenna Kocmich had 10 digs and 16 assists. Jordyn Voigt posted one ace. Kaeli Wallinga had one block. 


Chester 3, Tri-Valley 0

CHESTER — Class B No. 2 Chester earned a win over Tri-Valley in straight sets in Tuesday night volleyball action. Set scores were 25-7, 25-13 and 25-12.

Leading the Fliers Tuesday was Lily VanHal who produced eight aces, eight kills and 21 assists. Jacy Wolf led Chester with ten kills and 10 digs. Addison Bates and Emilee Bleeker each had a block while Emery Larson had nine digs and Katelynn Huntimer had three aces. 

Madelyn Wenzel led Tri-Valley with four kills while Emily Wenzel led with 14 assists. Abby Wagner had a block and seven assists. Julia Mauszycki led the Mustangs with seven digs while Kenzie Atwood contributed five digs. 


Arlington 3, Deuel 0

ARLINGTON — Arlington swept Deuel in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-6 and 25-23.

Arlington’s Harley Johnson finished with 14 kills, 12 digs and three aces. Addie Steffensen posted eight kills. Issie Steffensen recorded 23 assists, while Madi Bacon added 13 digs. Jordan Spilde had four aces.

For Deuel, Josie Andersen recorded five kills, one ace and two assists. Hope Bjerke and Kaitlyn Gubrud had two kills apiece. Sara Jo Kreger finished with six assists. Ella Kerkvliet and Annika Kriz had 13 digs apiece. Kerkvliet posted two aces. Alayna Carlson had three solo blocks, while Bjerke had two block assists. 


James Valley Christian 3, Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 2

HURON — It took five sets but the James Valley Christian girls eked out a win over Oldham-Ramona-Rutland in Tuesday night volleyball action. Set scores were 25-21, 15-25, 22-25, 25-19 and 15-3. 

Julia Trygstad powered Oldham-Ramona-Rutland with team leads in kills (17) and digs (26) and one block. Alvia Bickett finished with four aces, ten kills and 25 digs. Emily Matson had a team leading 17 assists while Rylan Pearson had 13 assists. 

James Valley Christian stats were not reported. 


Winner 3, Gregory 0

WINNER — Winner earned a straight set sweep of Gregory to pick up a Tuesday night volleyball win. Set scores were 25-19, 25-14 and 25-21. 

Powering the Winner effort Tuesday was Lexi Klein with 24 assists and 14 digs. Keelie Kuil led the Warriors with 11 kills while Adysen Pravecek and Saylor Schuyler each had four aces. Cora Moss finished with a team leading 14 kills while Karlee Brozik had seven kills. 

Asia VanDerWerff had eight kills and two blocks to lead Gregory. Mya Determan finished with an ace, seven kills and two blocks. London Flakus led Gregory with 10 assists. 


Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0

MILLER — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket wept Sunshine Bible Academy to pick up a girls high school volleyball win Tuesday. Set scores were 25-18, 25-10 and 25-12. 

Kenna Oschner powered Sanborn Central/Woonsocket with 10 kills Tuesday. Liz Boschee contributed nine kills and one block. Kenzie Schley finished with 22 assists and 13 digs while Kali Hofer and Whitney Hagman each had ten digs. 

Sadie Konechne had three kills while Annalise VanZee had three kills and a team leading two blocks for Sunshine Bible Academy. Lydia Lo finished with two aces while Abby Hinman led with three assists. Betra Amare had an assist while Kennedy Keck led with five digs.


Canistota 3, Menno 0

CANISTOTA — Canistota swept Menno in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-23, 25-19 and 26-24.

Canistota’s Natalee Hofer finished with six kills, eight assists, 10 digs and one block. Bailey Spicer recorded 14 assists and two digs. Natalie Becker added 24 digs. Ember Schenkel logged four kills and three digs. Sierra McGregor had 10 kills, seven digs and three aces. Kayla Papendick had five kills, nine digs and six aces.

For Menno, Ashton Massey finished with 10 kills, six digs and two aces. Kaelie Derby had five kills and five digs. Ellyana Ulmer posted 14 digs, while Joslynn Fischer had 16 assists and 13 digs. Maggie Miller logged 15 digs, while Haylee Hall had four assists and five digs. Lexie McNinch posted three kills and three blocks. 

 

Miller 3, Mount Vernon/Plankinton 0

MILLER — Miller swept Mount Vernon/Plankinton in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-20, 25-18 and 25-22.

Miller’s Aleah Schlechter finished with 16 kills, 10 digs and one ace. Shaylee Anderberg added 15 kills. Paige Werdel and Grace Werdel finished with four kills apiece. Heather Resel recorded 32 assists and 13 digs. Jolie Palmer had 26 digs, while Journey Palmer posted 17 digs. 

For MVP, Madalynn Lorang finished with 11 kills, while Berkeley Engelland added 24 digs and two aces. Taryn Hegg had two blocks and Vanessa Hoffman had 19 assists.


Rapid City Christian 3, Chadron, Neb., 0

RAPID CITY — The Rapid City Christian girls earned a win over out-of-state rival Chadron, Neb., in Tuesday volleyball action. Set scores were 29-27, 25-15 and 25-17.

Kendall Glassbrenner led the Comets Tuesday night with 11 kills and a block. Ana Egge had nine kills and a block while Faith King finished with five aces, eight kills and a team leading 18 assists. Moriah Coyle added 17 assists with Maddie Altstiel contributing seven kills. 

Stats for Chadron were not reported. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 3, Viborg-Hurley 0

ELK POINT — Elk Point-Jefferson swept Viborg-Hurley in straight sets in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-12, 25-15 and 25-11.

EPJ’s Bentlee Kollbaum finished with 13 digs and seven kills. Kaitlyn VanRoekel posted 12 digs, while Courtney Brewer had 32 assists, eight digs, two aces and two kills. Hannah Newman posted seven digs, two aces and two assists. Natalie Heuertz posted 10 kills and six digs. Ashley Brewer finished with seven kills, two aces, two digs and three blocks. Grace Peed had eight kills. 

Viborg-Hurley stats were not reported. 


Madison 3, Tea Area 0

MADISON — Class A No. 5 Madison swept Tea Area picking up a high school volleyball win on Tuesday night. Set scores were 25-23, 25-10 and 25-12.

Audrey Nelson powered Madison with 23 kills, four blocks and 12 digs. Amanda Vacanti added nine kills and two aces. Vacanti also broke the school record for most career aces. Callie McDermott and Keara Wagner also had two aces. Callie McDermott had a team-leading 15 digs with Karley Theede leading with 35 assists. 

Julie Haack led Tea Area with six kills with Mara Grant having an ace for the Titans. Kalli Boom had a team-leading 16 digs while Ava Opland led with eight assists. 


Elkton-Lake Benton 3, West Central 0

HARTFORD — Elkton-Lake Benton swept West Central in straight sets to earn a Tuesday night volleyball win over West Central. Set scores were 25-12, 25-15 and 25-22. 

Addison Meadors led West Central with eight kills while Adi Bartmann put down five kills. Ellie Lienhard had 10 digs and eight assists. Marissa Dobbs had a team-leading 12 assists and Jocelyn Nilson a superb night on defense with 34 digs. Ella Harden and Maddy Ingalls each had a block for West Central. 

Elkton-Lake Benton stats were not reported. 


Milbank 3, Deubrook Area 0

MILBANK — Milbank swept Deubrook Area in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-23, 25-19 and 25-8.

Milbank’s Rachel Schulte finished with 16 kills, 14 digs, 12 assists and two aces. Addisyn Krause recorded five aces and 18 assists. Ella Sandvig added 17 digs. Siera Wenzl had one ace. Shaylee Schuchard and Isabella Anderson had five kills apiece. 

For Deubrook Area, Zoey Molengraaf finished with six kills and two block assists. Kyarra Blum finished with five kills. Hanna Kjelden posted five kills, while Madalyn Bauman finished with 11 assists and two aces. Matte Bauman posted nine assists. Delaney Pedersen had seven digs, while Carly Engelstad had six digs. Kylee Johnson had two blocks.
