EUREKA — Ipswich swept the team titles at Tuesday’s Eureka Lions track and field meet. 

The Ipswich boys finished with 153.5 points, finishing ahead of North Central (128.5) and LaMoure/Litch-Marion, North Dakota (81). The Ipswich girls recorded 152.5 points, ahead of North Central (102) and Lemmon (101). 

In boys action, Ipswich’s Kyle Hettich was a double winner in the 100-meter dash (:10.73) and 200-meter dash (:22.63). Hettich added a second-place finish in the long jump (19-8.5). 

Hettich, Casey Geditz, Rasmus Loken and Maxwell Kulesa won the 1,600-meter relay (3:38.78). 

Geditz won the 400-meter dash (:56.09). Kulesa won the 800-meter run (2:07.14) and placed second in the 1,600-meter run (4:50.51). Loken won the 300-meter hurdles (:44.42).

Ipswich’s Shay Knust, Hayden Schlosser, Brody Davis and Ethan Wald won the sprint medley relay in 4:12.27. 

North Central’s Gabe Johnson won the 1,600-meter run (4:50.51) and Herreid/Selby Area’s Gavin Hirsch won the 3,200-meter run (11:19.77). 

Leola’s Dustin Wurtz was a double winner in the shot put (57-6.5) and discus (148-11). 

Lemmon’s Blake Drayton won the javelin (149-6), finishing ahead of teammate Blair Ham (139-11). 

North Central’s Tyler Bluhm won the high jump (5-10) and teammate Jared Wherry won the pole vault (11-0). 

Aberdeen Christian’s Dylan Hofer won the triple jump with a mark of 42-10.5. 

The Timber Lake boys foursome of Eddie Keller, Ethan Ward, Landen Bieber and Cole Ducheneaux won the 800-meter relay (1:40.10). 

North Central’s Drew Arbach, Avery Wells, Jason Arbach and Keegan Miller won the 3,200-meter relay (9:47.29). 

In girls action, Ipswich’s Sophia Knittel won the 200-meter dash (:26.46) and placed third in the 400-meter run (1:05.44). Ipswich’s Jalyssa Hutson won the high jump (4-9). 

Ipswich’s Marley Guthmiller won the 300-meter hurdles (:48.73) and finished second in the 100-meter hurdles (:16.54). 

Herreid/Selby Area’s Breanna Jochim won the 100-meter dash (:12.34) and placed second in the 200-meter dash (:26.55). Jochim, Mariah Peters, Brooklyn Helm and Stephanie Albee won the 800-meter relay (1:55.09). 

Potter County’s Emma Schlachter captured the 800-meter run (2:34.07), finishing ahead of teammate Jadyn Ahlemeier (2:38.48). 

Potter County’s Dannika Kaup won the 1,600-meter run (5:38.13) and 100-meter hurdles (:16.20). Kaup, Ahlemeier, Schlachter and Finlee Heien won the 1,600-meter relay (4:18.08). 

Timber Lake’s Jasmine Nash won the shot put (38-6.25), placed second in the discus (111-5) and placed second in the javelin (88-5). 

Lemmon’s Briley Gebhart won the 3,200-meter run in 12:59.23. 

North Central’s Amree Vander Vorst won the javelin (93-3). North Central’s Peyton Schnabel won the pole vault (8-6). 

Mobridge-Pollock’s Bentley Bauer won the long jump (14-11), ahead of teammate Brooke Bain (14-10.75). 

North Central’s Lindsey Geier won the triple jump (32-11). 

Aberdeen Christian’s Ali Isakson, Eritrea Cobbs, Hope Ellyson and Payton Skarin won the 400-meter relay (:52.78). 

Lemmon’s Brynn Odenbach, Tymber Benson, Jordyn Kohn and Chel Odenbach won the 3,200-meter relay (10:40.78). 

Brynn Odenbach, Izzie O’Donnell, Kohn and Chel Odenbach won the sprint medley relay in 4:39.01.
