Aberdeen Central’s Kyson Fayant leads the 300-meter hurdles with a state record mark in the latest Class AA boys track and field leaderboards.

Fayant ran a mark of :37.81 at the ESD meet on May 16, breaking the previous mark of :37.89 set by Mitchell’s Jason Greenway in 2011 and Lincoln’s Tom Taylor in 1989. 

Fayant is also 10th in the 110-meter hurdles (:15.09), eighth in the 400-meter dash (:50.17) and is part of AC’s 800-meter relay team (1:29.96) that ranks eighth in Class AA.
