Philip boys, Lemmon girls win titles at Philip Invitational
Philip runners Baylor Burns, Trey Larson and Jack Peterson helped the Scotties to a perfect team score of six points on their way to winning Friday's Philip Invitational.

PHILIP — The Philip boys and Lemmon girls won titles at Friday’s Philip Invitational run at the Lake Waggoner Golf Course. 

The Philip Boys won the team title with a perfect score of six points, finishing ahead of Dupree (23) and Lemmon (29). The Lemmon girls won the girls team title with seven points, just ahead of Harding County (16). 

Philip’s Jack Peterson ran the 5,000-meter course in 16:48 finishing ahead of teammates Trey Larson (17:05) and Baylor Burns (17:09). Dupree teammates Tayshaun Cudmore (17:27) and Spencer Olsen (17:33) rounded out the top-five boys finishers.

Lemmon’s Karly Riley won the girls race in 21:21, ahead of teammate Brynn Odenbach (22:04) and Harding County’s Camden Peterson (22:08). Lemmon’s Briley Gebhart (22:27) and Wall’s Taylee Dartt (22:45) rounded out the top-five finishers.
